WAYS AM 1500, known as 1500 The Fan, is a radio station serving the Macon, Georgia area with a sports radio format. This station is under ownership of Cumulus Media.

Until September 4, 2009, it was an affiliate of ABC Radio's True Oldies Channel when it was Oldies Radio 1500, with the slogan "Macon's True Oldies Channel".[1]

Because it shares the same frequency as clear-channel station WFED in Washington, D.C., it broadcasts only during the daytime hours. However, their online webcast is available 24 hours a day. For many years, WAYS operated on the FM dial at 99.1, with a top-40 format. The station flipped to an oldies format in 1992, which was eventually "moved" to 105.5 (now WLXF), before leaving the FM band altogether. The WAYS call letters, originally assigned to a legendary Charlotte, North Carolina radio station, were assigned to then-Multimedia-owned WMAZ-FM, in the mid-1980s. Prior to becoming 99 WAYS (said as "ninety-nine ways"), WMAZ-FM was known as FM 99. WDEN-FM, a top-rated country station, now broadcasts on 99.1 in central Georgia.
