    Requests for undeletion is a process intended to assist users in restoring pages or files that were uncontroversially deleted via proposed deletion, under certain speedy deletion criteria (such as maintenance deletions or rejected Articles for creation drafts), or in deletion debates with little or no participation other than the nominator. This page is also intended to serve as a central location to request that deleted content be userfied, restored as a draft or emailed to you so the content can be improved upon prior to re-insertion into the mainspace, or used elsewhere (you may also make a request directly to one of the administrators listed here). This means that content deleted after discussion—at articles for deletion, categories for discussion, or miscellany for deletion among other deletion processes—may in some cases be provided to you, but such controversial page deletions will not be overturned through this process. Copyright violations and attack pages will not be provided at all.

    This page is only for requesting undeletion of articles or files which have already been deleted. If the article you are concerned about is still visible, but has a warning message (template) at the top, please do not post here, but follow the instructions in the template or on your talk page. Please do not request that articles deleted under speedy deletion criteria A7, G4, G5, G11 or G12 be undeleted here.

    User talk:Bfpage/Following me around

    Contains important editor conduct involving Barbara (WVS)/Bfpage, Jytdog and myself. The page shows restrictions that were made with the guidance of the late Kevin Gorman. It was also recently used in a WP:ANI case: Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/IncidentArchive979#Barbara (WVS)'s editing of medical and anatomy articles. Deleting it is similar to deleting past ANI cases on Barbara (WVS). Of course, an editor can't be forced to keep a subpage they don't want to keep, which is why I was never fond of the page being made in her user space to begin with.     I've forgotten what was on User talk:Bfpage/Following me around, although I know that it concerns me. I confused it for User talk:Bfpage/guidelines.     • It is a record of a discussion between Flyer and Barbara. It appears as though all the material in there has been copied from where ever the discussion was originally held, and so the material would be available in Wikipedia's normal history records. I can't see a reason to have the page undeleted. To make things easier for everyone, though, I have temporarily copied the contents to here. SilkTork (talk) 00:17, 24 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
    No, Jytdog and SilkTork, she created a subpage just for that argument and took to replying to me on that subpage, which I didn't like because I knew that she could have the subpage deleted at any time. So I kept replying on her talk page while she replied on the subpage. She did copy and paste some stuff from her talk page to the subpage, though, yes.     @Lucsb: The article Vaco Baissac was deleted as a copyright violation. Because it copied material from http://www.vacoartiste.com/bio-EN.html we cannot restore it.

     Done, article restored. The author who added the {{db-g7}} tag had never contributed to that page, so it was an invalid tag. However, the tagger did cite several reasons: "WP:BLPCRIME, WP:AVOIDVICTIM, WP:NPF, WP:BLPSOURCE, WP:BLPGOSSIP, Fails WP:GNG, WP:SIGCOV, Fails WP:SUSTAINED, WP:NOTPUBLICFIGURE, WP:BLP1E, WP:BLPCOI".     I believe that there was an error as the article is about a tech SME brand in Nigeria named Yandi Nigeria. I will also like the article name changed to Yandi Nigeria

    My apologies for seemingly presenting a promotional piece, this was not my intention. Declared interest: I am a current student at the SPTI. I would argue the article should be restored under A7 - This is an educational institution and should be judged to a lower standard than notability (see https://unistats.ac.uk/Institutions/Details/10053279/ReturnTo/Subjects/10053279PT-021). G11 - Perhaps the text suggest this but the SPTI article can be expanded to show its importance to UK psychotherapy's origins.     @Drudge dread: You are correct that WP:A7 doesn't apply to educational institutions... but WP:G11 does. And because you have a conflict of interest, you should have created the article in draft space or in your sandbox, and submitted it for review via Wikipedia:Articles for creation. And schools are not subject to a lower standard of notability for inclusion; the lower standard applies only to speedy deletion. All organizations, whether they are bands, clubs, schools, or large companies, are subject to WP:CORP. I suggest you contact the deleting administrator Jimfbleak (talk · contribs) and request restoration to draft space to give you time to improve the article. New material published to main space runs the risk of speedy deletion, whereas material that has been worked on in draft space and reviewed by a neutral reviewer has a better chance of surviving. ~Anachronist (talk) 15:49, 29 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

    Undeletion of pages that User:JLJ001 was attached to

    Although user JLJ001 was a sock puppet, we (the WikiProject) believe that many of the deletions following this were not necessary. For a full list of pages, we would want undeleted, please see this. All of the pages deleted on this list were deleted under WP:G5.     Regarding the specific portals: it shouldn't be difficult to recreate everything with the existing portal templates. The ones that were used on these deleted portals were used only on these, so there are thousands of perfectly fine portals that didn't use Dysklyver's creations.     • I'll point out that most of the unused templates were still "beta" so they weren't implemented yet. We were planning to use them in the near future once we'd ironed out the bugs. For a shorter un-deletion wishlist, I'd like to have at least the following restored, along with their related pages (talk, /doc, etc):
    Mostly any template with portal in the name, which we will be using for tagging, and one of our WiP pages.
    • In addition, I'd like the portals that were deleted to be restored, moving them to draft (or user or our project) space, if necessary. Then we can review them and determine their fate properly. We may need to add to this list later. — AfroThundr (u · t · c) 23:03, 31 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
