This is a list of currently active, autonomist and secessionist movements around the world.

Originally, entries on this list met two criteria; they are active movements with living, active members, and they are seeking greater autonomy or freedom for a geographical region (as opposed to personal autonomy), however, the list has expanded to include a variety of entries, perhaps due to the contentiousness of what is and is not an autonomy and secessionist movement.
