KXZZ (1580 AM) is a radio station broadcasting a sports talk format. It is licensed to Lake Charles, Louisiana, United States, and serves the Lake Charles area. The station is owned by Cumulus Media. [1] Its studios are located on Broad Street in downtown Lake Charles and its transmitter is located north of downtown east of Calcasieu River.

History

The station's call letters used to be KLOU. It became a CBS affiliate November 1, 1947.[2]
