Shaftesbury plc is a British-based property business focused on properties in the West End of London. It is headquartered in London and is a constituent of the FTSE 250 Index.

History

The business was founded by Peter Levy in 1986. It was first listed on the London Stock Exchange in 1987. In 2007 it converted to REIT status.[2]

Operations

The Group is organised as one business - property investment and development. At 30 September 2015 its portfolio was valued at £2.9 billion.[1]
