Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, introducing inappropriate pages, such as Killer Toys, is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. A tag has been placed on Ed, Edd n Eddy's Big Picture Show: The Movie requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia, because it appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion process. If you can indicate how it is different from the previously posted material, contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this: which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's discussion directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. If you believe the original discussion was unjustified, please contact the administrator who deleted the page or use deletion review instead of recreating the page. Thank you. Please stop re-adding the synopses from the product jackets for the Puppet Master movie. THis is considered to be a copyright violation and is something that isn't allowed on Wikipedia. The only time you can print the entire synopsis of something like this is if you go through a very long and arduous process of getting it approved through various places and it's honestly not worth it for something off the back of a DVD jacket. The current synopsis will work fine until someone has seen the movie and can give a full plot description.Tokyogirl79 (talk) 11:08, 24 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Ajax Ghost Exterminators are not Ghostbusters.

[edit]

On the off chance this edit was made in good faith, I'll point out that the Ghostbusters franchise began in 1984. Lonesome Ghosts is from 1937. See the problem? I appreciate a joke as much as the next guy, but when it's the same joke the editor before you made, it stops being funny. InedibleHulk (talk) 12:55, 9 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop putting copyrighted material in the plot section of Puppet Master X: Axis Rising. Even if you credit it to FMP, it's still a copyright violation and continually putting copyrighted material into a Wikipedia article can result in you getting temporarily blocked from editing. I really, really recommend that you read over WP:COPYVIO as to why we can't use official movie synopses in articles. What I recommend in place of this is that you write up a detailed plot synopsis of the entire movie. That we can use and it's actually better to use that than to post a copyright violation or a plot synopsis based on the official jacket blurb. I've rephrased the plot section in general, as it was fairly awkwardly done. It formerly contained my original synopsis, followed by a second rephrasing of the plot, followed by a third rephrasing of the plot by way of the copyrighted FMP blurb. I recommend that you work on a synopsis in your sandbox before adding it. I know that you have good intentions as far as this goes, but this is the second time I've warned you. If you re-add copyrighted material a third time, I'll have to bring an admin into this.Tokyogirl79 (talk) 09:37, 18 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, D3323, and thank you for your contributions!

An article you worked on Frank C. Turner, appears to be directly copied from http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0003964/bio. Please take a minute to make sure that the text is freely licensed and properly attributed as a reference, otherwise the article may be deleted.

It's entirely possible that this bot made a mistake, so please feel free to remove this notice and the tag it placed on Frank C. Turner if necessary. MadmanBot (talk) 07:52, 2 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The article Killer toys has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Doesn't seem to be a notable concept. No sources found.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Nomination of Killer toys for deletion

[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Killer toys is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Killer toys until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. Ten Pound Hammer(What did I screw up now?) 19:26, 4 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Killer toys

[edit]

Let the discussion run its course. It's not that I don't like it; it's that the concept has too few sources discussing it and may not be notable. See the reasons stated by others here. If everyone agrees that it'll be deleted, then it will. Ten Pound Hammer(What did I screw up now?) 01:00, 6 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Frank C. Turner requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice that the page you created was tagged as a test page under section G2 of the criteria for speedy deletion and has been or soon may be deleted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Evil Clown

[edit]

I hate to be a bother, but would you mind reverting your recent page move for Evil Clown and starting a conversation about the move on the talk page to see if we all agree? I quite disagree that the page is talking about all evil clowns, and believe it is talking about "an evil clown" as a concept. Would you mind terribly allowing the community to debate it instead of WP:BOLDing your belief into the encyclopedia. I'd be very appreciative if you could do so. Devil Dolls copyvio

[edit]

I removed the section not only because it was apallingly written promotional guff but because it was a cut & paste copyright violation: plase do not reintroduce it. Really, if you care so little about a subject (understandable with a bit of shlock like this film) that you cannot find anything of your own to say then you shouldn't create an article on it.TheLongTone (talk) 21:02, 27 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The article Devil Dolls has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable film

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

A tag has been placed on Moby Duck (film) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://looneytunes.wikia.com/wiki/Moby_Duck.

Clown Costume

[edit]

The problem with the clown page is there are parts that are not encyclopaedic in their style. A mere list of what (some) clowns wear does not fulfil a number of Wikipedias criteria. Try rewriting the section yourself or leave it out. Putting the list back in will mean it does get reverted.Robynthehode (talk) 14:32, 17 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice that Puppet Master (Remake), a page that you created, has been tagged for deletion. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which articles can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may be soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

  • It is unambiguous vandalism or an obvious hoax. (See section G3 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please do not introduce inappropriate pages to Wikipedia; doing so is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.
  • It appears to be a clear copyright infringement. (See section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. However, even if you use one of these processes to release copyrighted material to Wikipedia, it still needs to comply with the other policies and guidelines to be eligible for inclusion. If you would like any assistance with this, you can ask a question at the help desk.

The article Robert Stockele has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Edits to Joker venom

[edit]

Regarding your edits to Joker venom, why do you keep bolding parentheses and slashes? It's not in Wikipedia style to bold punctuation marks. JIP | Talk 19:48, 13 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Agree, it's not needed, provides no encyclopedic value, and is a violation of WP:MOS. Joseph2302 (talk) 20:22, 14 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Joker venom, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Evil clown, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Per Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style/Images#Vertical_placement, images should be placed in relevant article sections where possible. Images scattered throughout the article are preferable to a single "Gallery" section at the bottom. McGeddon (talk) 18:51, 10 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Talk page size

[edit]

Information icon Hello. It appears your talk page is becoming quite lengthy and is in need of archiving. According to Wikipedia's user talk page guidelines; "Large talk pages become difficult to read, strain the limits of older browsers, and load slowly over slow internet connections. As a rule of thumb, archive closed discussions when a talk page exceeds 75 KB or has multiple resolved or stale discussions." - this talk page is 109.3 KB. See Help:Archiving a talk page for instructions on how to manually archive your talk page, or to arrange for automatic archiving using a bot. If you have any questions, place a {{help me}} notice on your talk page, or go to the help desk. Thank you.--McGeddon (talk) 18:57, 10 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Hair volumizer requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from http://research.omicsgroup.org/index.php/Hairstyling_product. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. reddogsix (talk) 19:12, 1 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Copying within Wikipedia requires proper attribution

[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Hairstyling product into Hair volumizer. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. If you are the sole author of the prose that was moved, attribution is not required. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 19:39, 2 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your upload to Wikipedia:

You provided a source, but it is difficult for other users to examine the copyright status of the image because the source is incomplete. Please consider clarifying the exact source so that the copyright status may be checked more easily. It is best to specify the exact Web page where you found the image, rather than only giving the source domain, search engine, pinboard, aggregator, or the URL of the image file itself. Please update the image description with a URL that will be more helpful to other users in determining the copyright status.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source in a complete manner. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page or me at my talk page. Thank you. ShakespeareFan00 (talk) 10:17, 15 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for uploading File:Puppet Master Action Lab Comics.jpg. However, it is currently missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can verify that it has an acceptable license status and a verifiable source. Please add this information by editing the image description page. You may refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation.

ATTENTION: This is an automated, bot-generated message. This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 03:00, 12 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Where the Toys Come From, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Larry Wright (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

[edit]
⚠

Thanks for uploading File:When puppets and dolls attack!.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 18:05, 22 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Blood Royale (anime) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable hentai OVA that fails WP:GNG; WP:RS not found in before.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ミラP 15:09, 13 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
