Nomination of Jessie (character) for deletion

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Jessie (character) is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Jessie (character) until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on good quality evidence, and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article..
§§AnimeshKulkarni (talk) 08:04, 2 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! The length of the article doesnt make the subject notable enough to stay. A one-liner article can also stay on wikipedia as long as its about something notable. This character is not that notable. For examples of notable characters see Gabbar Singh (character), Feluda, Chandramukhi (character), etc. But i can also be mistaken here. Thats why the discussion before deletion is held. You should put your views there. §§AnimeshKulkarni (talk) 09:06, 2 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I still dont find it notable. But only my views dont matter. Thats why whatever your views are you should be putting them at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Jessie (character). And dont call me Sir. Call me Animesh. -§§AnimeshKulkarni (talk) 11:17, 2 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Adding reference on wiki articles

Just follow the steps 1, 2 and 3 as shown and fill in the details

Hello Kailash29792! Please do not forget to add references for the content you add to Wikipedia. Adding a well formatted references is very easy to do.

  1. While editing any article or a wikipage, on the top of the edit window you will see a toolbar which says "cite" click on it
  2. And then click on "templates",
  3. Then choose the most appropriate template and fill as many details as you can,

this will add a well formatted reference that would be helpful in case the website link (web URL) becomes inactive (dead/link rot) after some time. thanks and regards -- ÐℬigXЯaɣ 12:52, 13 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

i undid your prev version becoz impact and post release session are considered as biased editing whether it is good or bad that doesnt matter.Biased article is against wiki rule that you know if you allow this means everyone starts writing impact on every movie thats a wasting of wiki sources.--visu unome 17:42, 3 September 2012 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Visuunome (talkcontribs)

misbehaving act by calling nonsense by Biker Biker i was told already it was not a reception its a impact or post responses which is a bias section--visu unome 08:10, 4 September 2012 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Visuunome (talkcontribs)

Re:fact

Hey Kailash. As I predicted long time ago, these so-called bilingual productions will trouble us a lot. I had taken this issue to the Indian cinema task force and started discussion, not many were bothered to take part there. Those very few who replied there, have all told that creating articles for every version is generally unpreferred, so you see it's not a personal agenda and there is no bias towards any particular film. A bilingual film, that is basically one film, the same film, made in two languages. So there'll be existing two articles for one film, is that needed? Moreover, an article that duplicates another existing article may get speedily deleted. I repeat what I told another editor before: If there are not considerable changes in the cast, crew, the story or the script, I absolutely don't seen any need to create a separate article for the same film. There have been a couple of exemptions such as the ones you mentioned, mainly because the lead cast of those films have been different; in the case of Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya/Ye Maaya Chesave, the stories were even slightly different. However films like 180, Dhoni, Payanam/Gaganam and Naan E/Eega too, do not need two articles, because there are no notable differences between both versions. Vishwaroopam does have one article only (until now), rightly so! Abhiyum Naanum's Telugu version Aakasamantha had an article until some time ago, it was redirected then. All films get the same treatment, therefore I will definitely redirect Gaganam to its main article too very soon and maybe even Naan E. The same applies to Yen Endral Kadhal Enben (which is probably more a dubbed film than an entirely remade film anyway.) As I said, other experienced editors have voiced the same opinion and so far, nobody could make a convincing point why separate articles for the same film should exist. So thats's the answer to your question! Have a nice day! :) Johannes003 (talk) 19:00, 5 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Maattraan

I protected the article because there was massive, extreme edit warring going on, and it was the only way I could stop it. The protection expires on 21 October, which is only about 5 days from now. At this point, due to the very significant disagreements among editors, everyone needs to start to discuss on the article's talk page how the article should be shaped--what the lead should look like, how to characterize the reviews, etc. After the protection expires, you and others will be free to edit. Please note, however, that if I suddenly see edit warring again without discussion, instead of protecting the article, I'll block the users doing the edit warring. So if there are things that you think can be improved, discuss them on the talk page now, please.

As for me improving the article, I can't, for 2 reasons. First, I know nothing whatsoever about the subject. Second, even if I did or cared to learn, administrators are not allowed to both edit an article and act administratively on it. Thus, I need to not edit the article so that I can respond to any future problems. Qwyrxian (talk) 09:36, 16 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Re: sorry for delay

The answer is simple: Neethaane En Ponvasantham's album is probably the most notable album of this year in Tamil cinema, it is long enough (more than 16,000 bytes!), it deserves a separate article without an iota of doubt. Everything else doesn't matter! Did you actually see Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa's article? Take out the plot, release, accolades and sequel sections (all of which can be added only after a film's release) from the article and compare it to NEPV's article. If an album is notable, it may get its own article, the other sections are irrelevant. (Btw, remove the tracklist from NEPV's main article, absolutely redundant!) Johannes003 (talk) 14:05, 21 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I disagree with that. Some of the stuff I took out I can see as being necessary, but a lot of it was extra detail. I haven't seen the movie, but I read the plot summary and there are quite a few bits that aren't needed to understand the plot. There was a plot tag, so I was doing my part to make it better. David film

Hi Kailash. Yes of course David was shot in Hindi and Tamil simultaneously, but the Tamil plot is slightly different from Hindi plot. The difference between both version is the number of characters. The Tamil version has two Davids - a fisherman (played by Vikram), and a musician (played by Jiiva) whereas the Hindi version, apart from a fisherman (played by Vikram) and a musician (played by Vinay Virmani), has an additional David (played by Neil Nitin Mukesh), who is a gangster. In Tamil David the plot set in two different eras while in Hindi David the plot set in three different eras. So only I have made Hindi and Tamil versions in a separate article. RE: "Controversies"

Remember that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia and not a gossip tabloid. Gossip tabloids get their readers by covering "controversies" - encyclopedias cover facts. If the only thing notable about a "controversy" is the "controversy" then it is probably not encyclopedic. The "controversy" should have some legitimate impact and THAT is what the encyclopedia covers. See WP:STRUCTURE. The "controversy" about the reuse of plot is not important because it is "controversial"; it is worth being covered in an encyclopedia because it resulted in the credits of the film acknowledging the impact the other writer.-- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 13:21, 16 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

and, yes , "lots of other articles have 'controversy' sections" but just because a lot of other articles are more appropriate for crappy tabloids than an encyclopedia is not a valid rationale for sending another article down the tabloid toilet.. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 13:24, 16 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Alibabavum 40 Thirudargalum Audio.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F2 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an image page for a missing or corrupt image or an empty image description page for a Commons-hosted image.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. GA nomination

Hi Kailash, I removed your addition of Karnan (film) to the GA nominations for technical reasons. You can see instructions at WP:GAN for how to nominate a good article under "How to Nominate". What you do is you add a template to the article's talk page. That way GA bot--the bot that keeps the total of nominations and reviews, and coordinates the different pages--works correctly. Thanks, and good luck with your nomination! -- Khazar2 (talk) 15:41, 27 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I've gone through the text, and I wasn't able to find the emotional writing, which User:Anne Delong was talking about. In my view I gave a description, in which way RR became popular and how the team came to existence. This may sound a bit like fan writing, but it's actually the way it is. Isn't it? Please consider the removal of the tag or consult Anne for the matter.-- Dravidian  Hero  15:05, 22 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (File:Mother india soundtrack.JPG)

Thanks for uploading File:Mother india soundtrack.JPG. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Hi Kailash, I havent watched the movie in full, but know it has created lot of controversy and acted as an advertisement to Dravidian politics. archiving URL

I don't think I did the ones at Mughal-e-Azam, but anyway, if you go to http://www.webcitation.org/ you can probably figure it out. You enter the URL, and after a delay it gives you the archive URL on the screen or in your email. Then just add archiveurl= and archivedate= to the citation. There is a problem with that site though, and it may be going away. There is also a discussion going on about Wikimedia taking it over. Another alternative is go to http://archive.org/index.php type in your URL and see if they already have it. BollyJeff | talk 13:16, 27 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Re:My next GA-to-be

Hey, again sorry for the late response. Well, I feel flattered that you keep coming back to me and believe that I'm a good editor but I'm very rarely editing here, I'm not even logging in at all, so requesting me might not be a good idea. That does not mean that I'm not interested, the source you have provided looks very interesting and I definitely would like to contribute but I'm not finding the time to write entire articles (or sometimes I'm just plain lazy). So I'm afraid you are on your own or have to ask some other senior editor (if you have not done that already), the best I can do is try to do some copyediting if needed to overcome the last hurdles and get it to GA level. I hope you understand it and are not vexed with me. I wish you all the best, buddy! :) Johannes003 (talk) 17:45, 1 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Something different: Dravidian languages

I have a question for you regarding the main image in that article. I made an effort to include Singapore and Malaysian Tamils (2 million people+other Dravidians) in the Dravidian language map, which is currently limited to India, Pakistan, Lanka. Would you support that? (Brahui language is accepted, has only 2 million)RfC_regarding_language_family_map Yes or No would be enough for me. -- Dravidian  Hero  17:29, 4 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Assi something

I've taken out the plot section as a copyvio. If the rest isn't (I haven't checked), it'll have to be prod or AfD. By the way, nonsense is 'uytcfffuytyiu' or 'pass twenty july lobster recommend fortuitously green'. Context is things like 'I hate Fred'. This isn't written as spam, and doesn't seem to be a hoax. Parasakthi

Hi Kailash - i see most of the peer review comments have been addressed by you. Just a few

  • link congress party
  • dmk expansion in the first instance
  • reference to list of songs?
  • rephrase -"Parasakthi was released on 17 October 1952, coinciding with Diwali day," to "was released on Diwali" - point is it is not coincidental, but planned release. Most big movies release on Diwali even now.
  • "nicknamed a "silver jubilee" hit." - is it not a common term for all movies running well.
  • try to maintain tense uniformly in running text, esp in plot.

I think you can go for GA nom, if that was the original idea.Ssriram mt (talk) 22:42, 17 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

An interesting thing to tell you

I now really agree that IMDb is an unreliable source. My sister was going through the Parents Guide section of both Man of Steel and Wreck-It Ralph. Our mouths fell open by seeing this : IN INDIA WRECK-IT RALPH AND MAN OF STEEL ARE CERTIFIED U/A AND A RESPECTIVLEY. Proof: this and this. Can you even believe this? as every other Indian sources and reviews say that it was U and U/A! I know its a stupid thing to tell, but this perfectly classifies why IMDb is an unreliable source.----Plea$ant 1623 14:49, 17 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

No, no, you didn't got me. Man of Steel was A and Wreck-It Ralph was U/A.----Plea$ant 1623 14:58, 17 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, but it is also Superman's most violent outing yet. All films in the original Superman series are rated U (even the mostly-forgettable Superman Returns).----Plea$ant 1623 15:10, 17 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (File:Billa 1980.jpg)

Thanks for uploading File:Billa 1980.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:39, 23 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

According to the article, the "AR" together stands for a name (the first two letters of it), unlike the usual idea of initials (first letter of each of two name words). A few weeks ago, User:Dravidianhero used that reason for moving the article from A. R. Murugadoss to AR Murugadoss, which you have now undone. Please talk to him to figure out how it should be handled. Maybe ask at Wikipedia talk:Article titles for assistance? DMacks (talk) 10:27, 24 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Re:Chandralekha

Hi! That's a really nice project you have taken. Chandralekha is one of the very few old South Indian films that I had some idea about. Isn't it famous for a lavishly produced dance sequence? Anyway, right now the article has a huge quote from Randor Guy, and that needs to be converted to prose. I am pretty busy now in work, so may not be available readily to work on it. If I get some time, I would surely have a deeper look. Regards.--Dwaipayan (talk) 23:08, 5 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Think before u speak non sense

you addressing me as worse is not acceptable

I am trying to gather historical info on an article, the work u could not do, is being done by me.

what do I respond??? when ever I find time, I will respond,

my goal of life is not to deal or argue with u whether to nominate some article as good or bad.

no one is paying me money, if the article gets nominated or not nominated.

as far as I am concerned, I am interested in history of this particular cinematic culture.

but i will not respond to non sense and deliberate attempt to fail an article based on pont of view, favoritism, nativity, culture etc, and illogical arguments like not included nagarjuna, or mahesh babu.

example: user kailash's review sounds

Raghupathi venkaih naidu is father of telugu cinema is not metaphorical??? It is the same as the statement dada saheb phalke is father of indian cinema in the cinema of india article.

the article has almost covered the historical accuracy Murrallli

I AM NOT GOING TO RESPOND TO YOU PERSONALLY AND I DONT HAVE TO, MY GOAL IS TO IMPROVE THE ARTICLE NOT TO ARGUE WITH ANY POLITICS OR DISCRIMINATIONMurrallli (talk) 12:11, 7 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

both how many? Guinness records

if u find u add, I did not add that section guinness book of records,

dont give blanket terms, as If I am responsible, think before u write,

ur my colleague not my boss or my reviewer or professor or head and I am not ur employee Murrallli (talk) 12:18, 7 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

italicize

if u think something has to be italicized, u italicize, dont order me, as If I am ur servant Murrallli (talk) 12:42, 7 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

civility

I cannot accept this type of one pointed approach, if minor changes are needed, like italics etc u please correct them, but please dont raise silly questions like nagarjuna not included but venkatesh included (i included venkatesh to acknowledge cinema of andhra participation in CCL and venkatesh representing it) if editors cannot think logically and raise silly comparative questions like two artists or two film industries, I dont have time for tedious arguments, I am not an advocate, some issues must be solved by ur intellect and then must be addressed to me Murrallli (talk) 14:19, 7 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

However,

I am also not ready for content disputes, (i cannot argue over my constructive contributions) u can only address issues about whether eligible for good article or not Murrallli (talk) 14:23, 7 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

behavior

Kindly stop abusing fellow editor.

I did not understand what user Kailash29792 is suggesting, with one more blanket term, I have to fail because nominator is not behaving??? nominations are assessed voluntarily based on content. I am not concerned about failing an article, I am only concerned about contributions, and improving article, whether u fail or not fail is not my job. My behavior is trivial and unimportant, I am not an advocate to reason with fellow editors, wikipedia is not my employer or the fellow editors is not by boss Murrallli (talk) 17:00, 8 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

not constructive enough

Kindly stop your blanket terms, who is that senior editor??? let him provide his views in this review, so that which would allow for improvements in the article, I understand the concept of GA article, better than you, what u knew is only stating baselsss blanket terms, stop representing your self as a wikipedia owner, I am here to include appropriate suggestions to improve the articleMurrallli (talk) 05:38, 10 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

time is required

also kindly stop getting aggravated, and abusing fellow editors is a very bad approach, provide time for the editors to expand on the article, also it appears that u do not want wish the article to be nominated, based on nativity and Pov reasons, wikipedia is not a place for this, u please be patient, while the article is being improved Murrallli (talk) 05:47, 10 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

for your Info

senior editor, has not discussed anything with me. On the other hand, you have conspired against me and has posted derogatory statements about me on user: Vensatry's talk page. I am not interested in failing an article good or bad. It is not the job of the nominator to fail or pass an article. I am only interested in going through fellow editor's non abusive suggestions. It is not the job of User:Vensatry, to abuse edtors, also stop rubbing all other competent editors the wrong way, by conspiring with other editors.Murrallli (talk) 08:54, 10 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Kailash and others,

Everyone may have a different view on the matter. It is better that we all resolve it. The same would be in the interest of Wikipedia as well as in the interest of Mughal-e-Azam, a film that all of us love.

I suggest that we talk an authority on this issue and get it vetted and verified by him. What do you say ?

A tag has been placed on File:Sonna puriyadhu.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F2 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an image page for a missing or corrupt image or an empty image description page for a Commons-hosted image.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Declined speedy deletion

Hello, Kailash29792. I have declined your speedy deletion nomination ofMankatha 2, because it does not satisfy the speedy deletion criterion that you used. Although the article is very short and gives very little information, there is enough context to make it clear what the subject of the article is. However, the article cites no sources, and there is no evidence that its subject satisfies the notability guidelines, so you might stand a good chance of success if you were to take it to Articles for deletion. Very similar comments apply to Yohan Adhyayam Ondru (2013 tamil film), except that it was someone else, not me, who removed the speedy deletion tag. Fair use rationales for movie posters

Hi Kailash29792. I am Dianna and I am an administrator on this wiki. All non-free content requires proper fair use rationales. Joke rationales like this and this are not adequate. You risk having your images speedily deleted under criterion F7 if they do not have adequate rationales. Please do not do this any more. There's a handy template for posters {{Non-free use rationale poster}}; all you have to do is put in the source and the article name and the template will generate everything for you. Please take your fair use rationales seriously in the future to avoid risking your files being speedily deleted. Regards, -- Diannaa (talk) 03:13, 30 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Parasakthi

Hi, i have modified the section. But it doesn't have any notable reference and i feel the section is needless. The GA reviewer may have similar views because the neutrality point would be questioned.Ssriram mt (talk) 03:41, 6 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved, as you did to Raman Raghav, without good reason. They need to have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. Wikipedia has some guidelines in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name doesn't follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. I think there should be some discussion before moving this page. I've returned it to Raman Raghav for the time being. Paris1127 (talk) 05:39, 7 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Sriram

Your work on Karnan was terrific. By the way, a column appears every Sunday in The Hindu called 'Blast from the past' by a film historian named randor guy. Its about the classic movies of the 60s and 70s. If possible, can you use those materials for your work on old tamil films? And most of these movies don't even have an article in wiki. If these pages were created, I would also pitch in with more info and references. Thank You. -- Sriram Vikram (talk) 08:59, 8 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

That's what I was trying to say. If the articles already exists, it becomes easier to develop. But most of these movies don't even have an article. If you can create such articles, even if it was just stubs, we can work in tandem and develop them. -- Sriram Vikram (talk) 09:30, 8 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I am not looking for anything in particular. Just felt that the column can be used as a source of primary information for creating the article which can be developed later by others. If those were the articles created based on the column, I'll try what I can to find more info about them and update those articles periodically. -- Sriram Vikram (talk) 10:06, 8 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Okay. Coz we never know for which article, info will be available. So can't commit you on any article in particular. But will do my best. If possible, keep me updated about the articles you create using the column as a source. You may add it to the list you provided above. -- Sriram Vikram (talk) 10:22, 8 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I created an article based on one of those columns, Nenjil Or Aalayam. But a BOT tagged the article with copyright infringement or something. Take a look and try to correct it. I don't what I'm supposed to do. -- Sriram Vikram (talk) 19:48, 8 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

So does that mean if I rewrite it, I can remove the tags or am I supposed to wait for some admin to take a call? -- Sriram Vikram (talk) 04:18, 9 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
How about this image? [1] [2] -- Sriram Vikram (talk) 07:01, 9 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah. Saw the image you have uploaded for Nenjil.. I just felt this image could be better. -- Sriram Vikram (talk) 07:40, 9 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Btw, is the Iru Sagodharargal image free? I mean, the movie came in 1936. So the copyright should have expired. Can I upload it to commons? -- Sriram Vikram (talk) 07:44, 9 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
But if the copyright has expired, why not upload it in commons? -- Sriram Vikram (talk) 08:14, 9 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your wishes. Btw, about your image for Parasakthi, the movie came on 1952. So I suggest you upload the image from that photobucket account of yours to commons. -- Sriram Vikram (talk) 16:17, 11 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hey pal! Regarding the Blast from the Past (column), Randor Guy isn't the only one doing it. He's just the one in charge of the tamil films. There are other guys who make those columns in other language films. For ex: Suresh Kolhi in New Delhi for hindi films. Take a look at these... [6] Randor Guy for Tamil, [7]] Vijay Lokapally for Hindi, [8] Narasimham for Telugu, [9] Vijayakumar for Malayalam, [10] again Hindi but Suresh Kolhi, [11] again Hindi but Ziya us salam. etc. I think there are many more particularly for Hindi because lot of states speak Hindi. -- Sriram Vikram (talk) 15:01, 19 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I can't get you. Do you mean you want me to add those movies too to the list? I just informed you because when so many people are working on the column, it is not appropriate to attribute it to just one guy. Actually that was the reason why I added the list to Randor Guy's page instead of creating a new page. I think now that a new page has been created, its better to add other guys names too. But if some wikipedian starts adding those other language movies to the list, then it will become difficult to maintain. -- Sriram Vikram (talk) 15:36, 19 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
By the way, I'm just changing the heading of this section for both of us to navigate easily as there is another section titled 'Request'. -- Sriram Vikram (talk) 15:48, 19 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Sounds good. Lets have a general article that exists now. It will list all those people working on that column from where they can navigate to each language. And those articles can hold the info abt the list of films. -- Sriram Vikram (talk) 15:53, 19 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hey! why aren't there any reviews yet? Does the review process usually take this long? There are not even any comments. Are we supposed to wait for him or can we ask someone else to take over? -- Sriram Vikram (talk) 07:29, 22 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah! Saw your post in his talk page. But he hasn't replied yet. So, no use in me contacting him. I got some work to do in my real life. But trying to make myself available for the review. Its getting delayed here. Can I request in the teahouse for someone else to do the review? Is there any such procedure, if the first reviewer is on a break? -- Sriram Vikram (talk) 07:40, 22 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Okay. Thanks. -- Sriram Vikram (talk) 08:01, 22 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Its okay, there were no comments for a while. Hey, do you really need the soundtrack to be in its own article? I don't want to put in the effort unless someone complains, and they did not in the PR. Editors are actually allowed to remove almost anything (including severe warnings) from their talkpages (WP:BLANKING). That doesn't change the fact that they were warned, and it's taken as explicit evidence that they did read it. You can therefore still escalate and act as if it were still on the page. Your recent editing history at File:Thalapathi poster.jpg shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. I don't want to be too involved in the edit war, but did you notice that the other editor removed the image from the article? The article currently doesn't contain any image at all, which is usually not correct for film articles. --Stefan2 (talk) 19:59, 24 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
