    Shortcuts

    Requests for undeletion is a process intended to assist users in two cases. The first case is restoring pages or files that were uncontroversially deleted via proposed deletion, under certain speedy deletion criteria (such as maintenance deletions (G6) or stale Articles for creation drafts (G13)), or in deletion debates with little or no participation other than the nominator. In the second use case, this page is also intended to serve as a central location to request that deleted content be "userfied", i.e., restored as a draft or emailed to you; this way, the content can be improved upon prior to re-insertion into the mainspace, or used elsewhere (you may also make a request directly to one of the administrators listed here). Be clear as to which namespace is intended, when requesting a refund of a deleted article.

    This means that content deleted after discussion – through deletion processes – may in some cases be provided to you, but such controversial page deletions will not be overturned through this process but through deletion review instead. Copyright violations and attack pages will not be provided.

    Do not request that pages or media deleted under speedy deletion criteria F7, F9, F11, U5, A7, A9, A11, G3, G4, G10, G11 or G12 be undeleted here.

    Salvio giuliano can correct me if I'm reading that conversation in a different way. You requested Salvio for a copy of the deleted draft to send to your boss. Salvio restored it temporarily and asked you to inform him when you are done with the copying, so he can delete it again. However, in this window that lasted 7 minutes, you made an edit that removed the majority of content, and removed review feedback that was critical of your editing, which prompted Salvio to re-delete it immediately.     i did not intend to delete the content and the feedback it was my mistake to which accusations were made about me trying to turn the draft into a working page.     Expired PROD by me.     @Redbokki: Not done – this page was deleted as a blatant advertisement under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion and Wikipedia is not to be used as a vehicle for promotion. This does not necessarily mean a suitable article on this topic cannot be created. If it is a notable topic, e.g., multiple reliable, secondary, published sources that are entirely independent of the subject have written about it in substantive detail (not just mere mentions), then a neutrally written article may be possible. This one was written like a commercial.

    Jesus Christ (Brand New song)

    I don't know if this should go in deletion review instead given that it's been deleted for almost 6 years. The song recently received a certification award (the band's first, actually, to do so) and is by far their most popular on streaming services, and I am willing to add more to it. On one hand, I find criterion 3a of deletion review a valid reason, but on the other hand, criterion 9b seems to direct me here.     @DannyMusicEditor: Not done – this Requests for Undeletion process is only for articles that were deleted uncontroversially, and does not apply to articles deleted after a deletion discussion. Since the article you are here about was deleted after a discussion took place at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Jesus (Brand New song), it cannot be undeleted through this process. However, if you believe that the outcome of the discussion did not reflect the consensus of the participants, or that significant new information has come to light since the article was deleted, you may contact the administrator who closed the discussion, Kurykh (talk · contribs).     Comparison of JavaScript charting libraries

    The deletion was never discussed. The page Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Comparison of JavaScript charting libraries does not exist. According to the archived version, the proposal for deletion mentioned Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Comparison of risk analysis Microsoft Excel add-ins.     Would an admin mind checking the previously deleted older version of this file, and restore it if it's the same as the current version. The file was originally unploaded as {{Non-free logo}}, was reduced and then the unused version was deleted per WP:F5. After looking at it, I believe this would be {{PD-logo}} in the US per c:COM:TOO US, but am not so sure whether it would be the same in its likely country of origin Australia per c:COM:TOO Australia; so, the file should be OK as {{PD-ineligible-USonly}} for local use on Wikipedia but probably shouldn't be moved to Commons. —Marchjuly (talk) 01:13, 29 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

    List of the oldest living members of the United States House of Representatives

    Seems to have been deleted arbitarily with useful information many of us care about and is legitamite reference inforamtion even if some do not care.     • Comment I would agree about the "arbitrarily" part, except it appears I'm no longer allowed to comment on editing behavior without it being spun into a personal attack by admins out to blindly protect their fellow admins. However, none of that applies here. This content was deleted as a result of a deletion discussion, so therefore this process cannot be used. You'll have to make your case at a deletion review instead. If you're going to be successful, you'll have to do a much better job than was done in that discussion, especially seeing as how there are sources in your favor.     This page, I think, just has one subsection with a checklist of content that couldn't be worked while I work on Draft:Linda Finch as part of a copyvio cleanup. Could I have this page restored, just until I can copy over that subsection, and then request deletion?
