I've declined the A7 and A9 speedy tags that you placed on this article; A7 doesn't apply to musical recordings, and A9 only applies to recordings by people who don't have Wikipedia articles. Nyttend (talk) 16:00, 1 August 2010 (UTC)
Musical recordings, whether confirmed or not, aren't individuals, animals, organizations, or web content. It plainly wasn't a very short article with insufficient context, since it linked to the artist, so it shouldn't have been deleted. Nyttend (talk) 02:56, 2 August 2010 (UTC)
Thank you
Thanks for reviewing and promoting Da Boom. I was wondering though if you would consider also reviewing either No Meals on Wheels, Boys Do Cry or Meet the Quagmires, as I am attempting to get the season to GT status, and those are the only three left in need of review. I'd really appreciate it if you could help me out. Gage (talk) 09:53, 2 August 2010 (UTC)
Clearly you're not paying very much attention to my edits as they are the furtherest thing from what someone in their right mind would call vandalism. One might even describe them as discreet. All I'm doing is adding a "see also" link to the pages of nonprofit organizations that have been funded by the New York Foundation. Thanks for your input! 10east34thstreet (talk) 17:23, 2 August 2010 (UTC)
Hola amigo. Vengo a avisarte a vos porque no quiero meterme con el inglés... Gagadaily, que sería la página oficial de noticias de Gaga, confirmó que "Dance in the Dark" no es cuarto sencillo. Miralo en este link. Dice:
"Dance In The Dark" is not a single. Australian radio stations may play it on their own, but there will be no more releases from the album.
The moves I made are extremely similar to a previous proposal made during discussion regarding a merger. Several users voiced support. Abyssal (talk) 23:11, 2 August 2010 (UTC)
It wasn't voted on, but several users said things like "Sounds reasonable." Including the proposer and myself there were four supporters for relocating the article to Human tooth and no one opposing or neutral. Abyssal (talk) 23:19, 2 August 2010 (UTC)
The person who you reverted was telling the truth, the information can be seen in NUMEROUS Selena specials. Currently, that information is also pending with the new version that will soon take over the poorly information that is given to her. AJona1992 (talk) 01:07, 5 August 2010 (UTC)
Please tell me why
Could you tell me what I did wrong please? I don't understand what I did that I am almost being blocked. Thanks. Odaufh (talk) 07:02, 5 August 2010 (UTC)
But thats what the United Kingdom has just been named to. It's all over the news. I am being serious. PLease turn on the TV if you don't believe me.
Steven Gerrard
Hey mate,
Can you please stop deleting my modifications, they are necessary to the page. There was no information before about his 2009/10 season whatsoever so I thought I'd just add a quick summary of his season which seems reasonable and I also added some information of his recent goal vs FK Rabotnicki, so why was this deleted?.
Also his career statistics in European competition should be changed to 113 games 35 goals I've done a little research :),
On a different note can you please give me some advice on how to upload images to wikipedia. Images found on google image search is that possible?
Could you please tell me why you undid the edit to Republican Party (United States), a short time ago? I am wondering why you did so as I had just accepted the review of the article and found no vandalism or other issues with the statement, whilst I would agree it required a source I was just about to add a citation needed tag only to find it had been undone. I have no interest in the article, am just wondering about your reasons behind the undo. Regard ZooPro06:59, 8 August 2010 (UTC)
Hi, I don't think we ever talk before, I saw that you put the article for peer review and thought that this information may help you expand it.
A track from The Bangles' second album resulted in the band's first chart single. As Vicki explained in a MTV UK interview in 1989, "[Prince] really liked our first album. He liked the song 'Hero Takes a Fall', which is a great compliment, because we liked his music. He contacted us, and said, 'I've got a couple of songs for you. I'd like to know if you're interested,' and of course we were." One of the songs Prince brought to the group was "Manic Monday", written under the pseudonym of Christopher. Vicki Peterson talked about the evolution of what Prince brought them: "It was a Banglefication of a Prince arrangement. He had a demo, that was very specifically him. It was a good song, but we didn't recorded it like 'This is our first hit single! Oh my God! I can feel it in my veins!'—We just did the song, and the album, and then sat back and thought about it."
Feldman, Christopher (2000). Billboard Book of Number Two Singles. Watson-Guptill. ISBN0823076954. page 200
You should probably change the Dutch chart, the one that is in Hung Medien is for single sales only, the Dutch Top 40 is the official chart of the Netherlands, it combines sales and airplay, "Manic Monday" peaked at 24 in March of 1986. [1]
De nada, si me llego a cruzar con algo mas de información la pondre aca. Aunque aparentemente no hay mucho sobre esta canción, como hay de "Eternal Flame". Saludos. Frcm1988 (talk) 19:31, 9 August 2010 (UTC)

The unlikely contribution of Prince, whether or not his pen remains incognito, has given the Bangles their first real radio hit. Once listeners cut through the baroque arrangement and the high harmony, the origin of the song becomes apparent: the verse shares its melody almost note for note with 1999. The fact that the song is not the strongest on the album is less important, in terms of marketing, than its author. The New York Times[10]
So the album ranges from the upbeat power-pop of "Manic Monday," to the bluesy feel of "Standing in the Hallway," to the spare folk feel of Steele's "Following." Daily News of Los Angeles[11]
The quartet's essential girl-group sound -- a mix of Shangri-Las- style romance and Liverpool rock -- is attractively tooled into each track, from opener "Manic Monday," with its anthemlike chorus and sweet melody, to the off-key shuffling of "Walk Like an Egyptian". Orlando Sentinel[12]
His 'Manic Monday' here has the easy sway of the mid-'60s, even though synthesizers supplant the guitars. But Prince's song is upstaged by 'If She Knew What She Wants,' easily the most mature lyric on the album." Sacramento Bee[13]
The first single Manic Monday represents slumming songwriter Prince's attemptmostly successful save for the inevitablegetting down interlude to concoct a modern day Mamas and the Papas hit. Los Angeles Times[14]
The best numbers were those featuring all four voices -- a snappy rendition of Jules Shear's "If She Knew What She Wants," "Let It Go" and "Manic Monday." The melodies were infectious, especially on medium-tempo tunes, but the gals also flexed their muscles on some out-and-out rockers. Richmond Times - Dispatch[15]
In addition to the revivalist miniskirts gogo boots dangle jewelry and John Lennon granny glasses. Manic Monday written by Christopher aka Prince has that bubblegum rock sound of 60s girl groups. Wichita Eagle[16]

Hey, I just looked through your comments at the peer review, and there was one I didn't understand, so i thought I'd ask here. Where I've mentioned citations, you said "Per the FLC of the 82nd Academy Awards". I wasn't sure if you meant the bit about websites being in italics, or Billboard being linked the first time it occurs, not the last. I didn't see anything about either in the FLC discussion. Anyway, as I didn't point you to it before, WP:ITALICS is what I was going from - it tells you what should be italicised (like books, newspapers etc.) Website's shouldn't be. Anyway, good luck with the GA, thanks for the barnstar and I will try and upload that song for you tomorrow. :) --BelovedFreak21:40, 9 August 2010 (UTC)
Comment
Are RBI and Variety both works? I thought RBI was a publisher. The Rambling Man (talk)
Should not be magazines between italics? TbhotchTalk C. 14:15, 9 April 2010 (UTC)
Works (magazines etc) are italics, publishers are not. The Rambling Man (talk) 15:01, 9 April 2010 (UTC)
I see, thanks for highlighting that. The general rule of thumb is that print sources like newspapers, magazines, books, journals etc (inc. Variety & Billboard) are formatted in italics, non-print sources like websites are not (eg. BBC News, Amazon.com, Allmusic—you can check this by looking at those articles!) Even though they all appear in the "work" bit of the template, they are different. I believe User:The Rambling Man was highlighting the difference between works like Variety and publishers like Reed Business Information. Since publishers are usually companies, they are also not in italics. It's a bit complicated, so I hope this makes sense!--BelovedFreak09:32, 10 August 2010 (UTC)
Miloš Krasić
Why do you continue to change my revision? Miloš Krasić was born in Kosova Mitrovica. He was born in 1984, which means Kosova Mitrovica was under Yugoslavia. Post Yugoslavia, Kosova Mitrovica did in fact belong to Serbia & Montenegro. After the dissolution of that, it was a part of Serbia. But, since the declaration of independence by Kosovo, Kosova Mitrovica is currently a part of the Republic of Kosovo. Hence, there is 2 options I feel. Either put down he was born in Yugoslavia or Kosovo. Why you continue to change it back is beyond me. I thought you were some diehard Serbian, but apparently you're Mexican, LMAO. And here is your reference, straight from the Kosova Mitrovica page:
"Kosovska Mitrovica (Albanian; Mitrovicë or Mitrovica, Serbian: Косовска Митровица or Kosovska Mitrovica; Turkish: Mitroviça), is a city and municipality in northern Kosovo[a]. It is the administrative centre of the homonymous district."
Oh its you. He He. I had to look into the history since you did not sign. Well would you help me with the DYK? I have never nominated articles for DYK, hence don't exactly know how to. Pretty please ? — Legolas(talk2me)03:34, 9 August 2010 (UTC)
Well thanks a dime for the explanation. I did nominate it under the August 6 category, lets hope somebody picks it up soon for reviewing. PS, is an image necessary? — Legolas(talk2me)03:50, 10 August 2010 (UTC)
Dear Tbhotch, thank you for warning User talk:76.233.30.74 last month for adding unsourced points of view, and making POV edits to Nissan X-Trail. The IP is now doing the same thing to Lexus LFA, adding an unsourced 'criticism' section. I merged this with actual sources in a 'reception' section (like Maserati MC12, a FA). The IP has now reverted this, and I suspect that this may become a 3-RR situation. I'd really appreciate any assistance, if you are able. Thanks. MTan355 (talk) 19:59, 10 August 2010 (UTC)
Good day. Did you happen to look at the changes I made in detail? I can accept your reinserting the removed-countries (which I felt were not top-importance chart-territories required for the lead), but don't you think the rest of the edits were a definite improvement in the prose? I'm also puzzled why you would revert back to the version of the article that has the incorrect Allmusic quote. Curious to know your reasons for the reversion (let alone labelling them as a "mess" and handing me a "level 1 warning". Thank you, 114.143.172.76 (talk) 19:36, 11 August 2010 (UTC)
Good good, but it will probably be the recent ones which would be more subjected to vandalism and fancruft, especially since she is releasing another album year end. — Legolas(talk2me)06:16, 13 August 2010 (UTC)

Your user page
I've protected your userpage against IP's and new editors. I set it at indefinite because, well, you fight vandalism, and vandal fighter user pages get too much abuse, but let me know if you want it gone and I'll remove it in a few hours. Courcelles07:03, 12 August 2010 (UTC)
i think the fact that there was a problem with the record label , and that consequently more songs were meant to be released (an incompleted album) should be noted in the first paragraph, with references--68.215.6.88 (talk) 15:47, 13 August 2010 (UTC)
The reason I changed the image is because this particular cover is used in more places than the image you have presented. The American iTunes store uses the same cover with extra wording on it and even the CD single I myself own is the cover exactly as I have uploaded. It's a scan. I have three versions of the single in my possession and they all use the exact same cover. I haven't seen this version before so I don't understand why it's more appropriate. RatiziOnecontribs05:28, 14 August 2010 (UTC)
Could you be more explicit with "the Americas" because the other cover is used in all Europe, as well Japan, US, Canada and Mexico. TbhotchTalkC.06:26, 14 August 2010 (UTC)
I'm not sure if you're agreeing with me or not but I know the cover I'm using is also used in the UK. Seeing as she is an American artist, wouldn't the cover used in the states and other English speaking nations be the most relevant? RatiziOnecontribs06:32, 14 August 2010 (UTC)
Why did you revert the addition that Neptune is 2,700,000,000 miles from the Sun, as dubious and unsourced? I would oppose it because it is not metric, but conversions do not need sources. Saros136 (talk) 07:20, 15 August 2010 (UTC)
Mistake :)
Im not owning the article. I say "my"/"your" meaning "articles i edit", "your" meaning "articles you edit" as its easier to say my/your then typing "articles you/i edit". I know what owning the article is, and thats not what i was doing. :) Happy editing - (CK)Lakeshade - talk2me - 23:01, 16 August 2010 (UTC)
User:Balagonj786
User:Balagonj786 began to edit again the Floyd Mayweather, Jr. page. Balagonj786 was banned many times for distorting the accuracy, neutrality, spelling and grammar of this page. Furthermore, Balagonj786 refused to cooperate with other Wikipedia users and he still insist his own version of the page. And now, after he has been blocked, he is still doing this. Can you please ban this user again and revert the page back to what it was before he edited it? Because everytime a concern Wikipedia user trying to fix it, Balagonj786 and his apprentice Jailbreaker212 still insist their own version. Thank you very much.
TFA protection
Hello TB. I've adjusted the protection on the TFA articles to conform to standard practices. Sorry about that. Just to clarify, was your note "Should not be sysop?" referring to the protection level or to my incorrect handling of the broom? I admit I'm imperfect and am open to constructive criticism. -- Tom N (tcncv)talk/contrib04:36, 18 August 2010 (UTC)
Monster
Hola amigo. Perdón por molestar de nuevo, pero hay un problema. "Monster", al igual que "Dance in the Dark", esta teniendo airplay en Nueva Zelanda, pero no fue ni anunciado como sencillo ni nada. Lo mismo paso con "Dance in the Dark". ¿Qué tenemos que hacer? Porque crear un artículo para "Monster" y decir que es sencillo me parece excesivo. Fijate si podes hablar con alguien y si te dicen algo me avisas por favor, porque no se, se me hace que editamos de más. Saludos, --Trivia harrypotter (talk) 07:17, 18 August 2010 (UTC)
Why do you send me a message about my edits ? They are sourced, idem for the map, while two users do not want to continue the discussion. They prefer to revert my edits. Hola amigo. Perdón por molestar, pero necesito ayuda con una traducción, ya que no le encuentro sentido. Es estos 2 textos de las críticas a The Fame Monster:
Bill Lamb from About.com gave the album five out of five stars and said "The Fame Monster is the most compelling pop concept piece in recent memory. There are clear signs of influence from some of the top pop women of the past including Madonna, Annie Lennox and Debbie Harry, but Lady Gaga makes it emphatically her own. If this is the direction of contemporary pop, we are in good hands indeed."
Edna Gundersen from USA Today believed that on The Fame Monster, "Gaga's icy aloofness and seeming aversion to a genuine human connection leave a disturbing void. With an avant-garde intellect, pop-electro eccentricities and freaky theatrics competing for attention, there's no room for heart.
hola talk:Tbhotch. Quería saber si, de nuevo, puedes ayudarme si no es molestia con una traducción:
Matthew Richardson from Prefix Magazine reviewed The Sound of Arrows remix of "Alejandro" and said that they "have been releasing material in a slow trickle, but the quality has been such that people are still paying attention. While we're all waiting for their album to drop, hopefully sometime before the world ends, this remix that the duo did of Lady Gaga's "Alejandro" has recently surfaced. The laser house drought is over, for now.
Monica Herrera from Billboard complimented the album saying "Gaga has employed a collection of more-than-capable producers to make her dance-ready smashes from The Fame and The Fame Monster even more danceworthy.
Mark Beech from Bloomberg Television said that "The Madonna for our times, Lady Gaga, has wheeled out another version of her debut album.... The familiar tracks, now in danger of being played to death, are given a new sheen by the Pet Shop Boys and sometime Madonna producer Stuart Price."

It takes a few seconds to google "Slash Day." It almost takes the same amount of time to write the note telling (in this case an IP editor, who probably doesn't know how to do this stuff) what he did wrong. Certainly unreferenced material doesn't belong in a BLP but have some sense. This statement was not inflamitory or libelous. It was a good faith intent to contribute to the article. And it was fact based. Reverting it, crushes that potential contributor's enthusiasm to make future additions to our knowledge. We've been through months of haggling on the BLP debate, where I've been quite outspoken (sorry if you are getting dragged into my arguments with others). Deletion is not the answer to what is not referenced. A little research is appropriate BEFORE taking such drastic action. It could turn out that the information is perfectly legitimate and truthful (I suggest aside from outright vandalism is most of the time), which in this case it proved to be. Latin American task force
Hello Tbhotch. I just wanted to give you a heads up on why some Latin American artist, albums, songs, etc. are simply being tagged "WikiProject Latin American". When I did a request for a bot to tag all articles under Category:Latin music for WikiProject Latin America, it was also suppose to include the Latin American music task force. Consequently, it did not because I forgot about so it was a mistake on my part. Magiciandude (talk) 18:37, 30 August 2010 (UTC)

PURPORT
The kalpa is explained in the Bhagavad-gītā (8.17): sahasra-yuga-paryantam ahar yad brahmaṇo viduḥ. One day of Brahmā is called a kalpa. A yuga, or mahā-yuga, consists of 4,320,000 years, and one thousand such mahā-yugas constitute one kalpa. Indeed ,if you are just 19 years old, why do you try to go against true religion??? This is very very dangerous.. See description of hellish planets also:
[20]
"If a person deviates from the path of the Vedas in the absence of an emergency, the servants of Yamaraja put him into the hell called Asi-patravana, where they beat him with whips. When he runs hither and thither, fleeing from the extreme pain, on all sides he runs into palm trees with leaves like sharpened swords. Thus injured all over his body and fainting at every step, he cries out, "Oh, what shall I do now! How shall I be saved!" This is how one suffers who deviates from the accepted religious principles."
See also cosmology, this might be convincing: [21]
So, hellish planets are real... Atheists go there.
But anyway, better read this, so you may be saved: [22]
and here: [23]
"Lord Chaitanya knows everything that happens in all three phases (past, present, and future, of time. He knows that in the future some demoniac people will serve Lord Advaita.
They will refer to Lord Advaita by the name "Shri Krishna". In this way they will reject the words of the true Vaishnavas.
These sinners will thus disobey the devotees who affirm that Advaita is "the greatest Vaishnava".
Many persons will consider themselves the followers of Lord Advaita, but they will not have the power to see how in the future they will be punished.
Lord Chaitanya, the crest jewel of they who know everything, knew all this. Therefore He did something to try to stop this from happening."

Hi Tbhotch, I decided to add the publishers to the refs. For the non-print refs, I had to add the publishers as an extension to that already-occupied field, so could you please check to see if they're done correctly? And could you also elaborate on the "obvious" prose issues? Thanks. –Chase (talk) 17:58, 5 September 2010 (UTC)

That's kind of rude that you absolutely refuse to support it. I'm changing the article in response to your comments and I'm not sure what else is necessary to gain your support. If you have tips on how to make this an excellent page, please provide them. –Chase (talk) 16:36, 6 September 2010 (UTC)
My point is that since your initial oppose, I've been responding to all of your comments and changing the page accordingly with most of your suggestions. And after that, and you continue to oppose, that's unhelpful, disruptive, and frankly rather disrespectful. The goal of processes such as FLC is to help editors improve lists, and I've been taking into account many of your suggestions for improvement. So if I've addressed almost all of your concerns, and you continue to oppose, saying that the list is good but not excellent, with no other commentary, that does not help improve at all. And I don't know where you come off saying I'm not accepting your commentary - I've accepted almost all of it; there's just a few things I did not agree with you on. –Chase (talk) 16:45, 6 September 2010 (UTC)
I just noticed your !vote change, and I appreciate that you at least changed it to neutral instead of a flat-out oppose. –Chase (talk) 16:47, 6 September 2010 (UTC)
I did not ask for your vote on the FLC, just comments. I was merely pointing out to you that newspapers who themselves are the publishers, don't need a separate publisher field to be populated in the {{cite news}} template. This is a general format we all approach, and if in doubt check the FAC of Madonna where this was vividly discussed. I just noted that Chase was right in what he said in the FLC, thats it. — Legolas(talk2me)03:29, 7 September 2010 (UTC)
invincible album
"Invincible is the last studio album by American recording artist Michael Jackson in his lifetime"............... would be a good way to honor him with the opening paragraph--74.225.255.70 (talk) 15:45, 3 September 2010 (UTC)
The worldwide launch of the iPhone is the definitive proof of whether such and such country has simlocking laws. Before the iPhone's launch in the UK, Brits swore that their country has simlocking laws --- proved to be untrue by the iPhone. This is especially important to look at countries that don't speak English or having common laws. Don't need to speak French or know the French civil law to find out about simlocking laws in France, just look at the iPhone in France --- the carriers have to offer unlocking codes at the end of 6 months for free.
Don't need to know Spanish to find out what Honduras has in terms of simlocking laws. Claro continues to sell simlocked iphones in Honduras --- which means only ONE thing, simlocking is legal in Honduras, contrary to what fellow wiki'ers think. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.244.57.54 (talk) 20:35, 5 September 2010 (UTC)
I would appreciate it if you would not threaten me with blocking. If someone accidentally changes an article slightly and puts wrong information, it is automatically assumed that it is an act of vandalism. I often try to refrain from editing due to people like you who assume the worst. I see here that there are many similar complaints against you. I would highly advise checking with the user before jumping to accusations. Andyjoe7and8 (talk) 03:56, 7 September 2010 (UTC)
Again, you are jumping to conclusions about vandalism. I thought I was in sandbox mode. You and other "editors" should be nicer to inexperienced users. You are promoting a very unfriendly Wikipedia.
I do not want to keep this ongoing, but I will respond to a few comments you made. I never said I was a newbie. I said I was "inexperienced", as I log on infrequently. I thought I was in sandbox, and unknowingly made the change. Again, for someone who made two very small errors, you should assume good faith. If you feel it is vandalism, ask the user what is going on before jumping to judgement.

Re: Andyjoe7and8
Looks like after the manual "Only Warning" I issued, that made him go away. I really don't know what to make out of people like that. It is like they don't think we can see all their contribs and blocks and see they have acted this way before. That is when I lose all good faith for people like that when they try to play you like you are stupid. - Neutralhomer • Talk • 05:07, 7 September 2010 (UTC)

Autopatrolled
Hello, this is just to let you know that I have granted you the "autopatrolled" permission. This won't affect your editing, it just automatically marks any page you create as patrolled, benefiting new page patrollers. Please remember:
This permission does not give you any special status or authority
Submission of inappropriate material may lead to its removal
If, for any reason, you decide yo do not want the permission, let me know and I can remove it
If you have any questions about the permission, don't hesitate to ask. Otherwise, happy editing! --Gifts raining from the sky. ;) HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts?
I wish you were around when Dance-pop was here. It was all hillarious and you won't believe the amount of vandalism this kid does. Already started. As for WTG, no need to say sorry and stuff. Friends don't say sorry to each other. :) You work through a lot many articles than I do. Kudos to you I can say. — Legolas(talk2me)04:59, 8 September 2010 (UTC)
Arbcoms are really helpful and lengthy, and (boring) process. Lol, well "Manic Monday" looks like a good work. Once WTG film is promoted, we will have another GT at hand, though. — Legolas(talk2me)05:23, 8 September 2010 (UTC)
Yes I understand, but there is no record of English sources about the album's release date so obviously it's rumours. She only began working on the album at the end of August, it doesn't just take 2 months to make an album. It takes time. ozurbanmusic (talk) 21:02, 8 September 2010 (UTC)
Is that so? I thought she would be busy touring for her I Am... Tour, plus she took a big break earlier this year with Jay-Z and it was confirmed through a lot of sources that Beyonce is back working on the album at the end of August. ozurbanmusic (talk) 21:06, 8 September 2010 (UTC)
undoing PC
I've been making a judgment call, sometimes unprotecting, sometimes indefinitely semiprotecting, sometimes a timed semiprotection. Generally I look at what the protection state was before PC was applied. If you see ones where you think I blew it, just let me know and I'll take a second look.—Kww(talk) 22:42, 8 September 2010 (UTC)
I nearly left Rick Warren unprotected, but the protection history indicates that it was indefinitely semi-protected based on mediation:
Can you please protect Only Girl (In the World) so only admins can edit it (any other pages if there are any would be sweet as well). Im so tired or redirecting. Also, could incubate this version so i can edit and then just have the edit history merged into the article once it created. That would so much appreciated - (CK)Lakeshade - talk2me - 02:28, 9 September 2010 (UTC)
Hola Axel! ¿Cómo va? Espero que bien. Quería saber si me podes ayudar con estas críticas de "Telephone":
Popjustice gave the song a positive review: "It's a little bit like Gwen's 'What You Waiting For?' meets Timbaland's 'The Way I Are' meets about fifty other things....The structure's quite exciting [...] there is something tumultuously brilliant about Beyoncé's contribution that makes everything seem fine and as if it was the plan all along."
Evan Sawdey from PopMatters said that "The much talked-about Beyoncé collaboration 'Telephone', which—with its double-time beat and rapid-fire verses—proves to be one of the most adrenaline-pumped songs that Gaga has yet crafted, the whole thing feeling like it's about to veer of [sic] the tracks at any moment simply due to the giddy excitement shared between the two divas, easily turning it into the unquestioned highlight of The Fame Monster"
Bill Lamb from About.com listed it among the top tracks on the album and said: "The Beyoncé assisted 'Telephone' is a club stomper that will draw in R&B and Hip Hop fans as well on the radio."[13] In a separate review, he compared it to the "Just Dance" era and commented: "An odd track for a lot of reasons. Lyrically, it is a successor to 'Just Dance'. The lyrics involve Gaga talking about not wanting to use her phone in the club. Having a track like this, when it feels like 'Just Dance' was so long ago and a different Gaga, is a little awkward. Especially when it is a planned single...It's fun and disposable but there are better tracks on The Fame Monster to offer as singles".
Can you keep an eye on this? If reverted to the fancruft version, can you nominate it for deletion? My Twinkle is malfunctioning badly. :( — Legolas(talk2me)03:35, 14 September 2010 (UTC)
That is fine. I just asked because don't wanna get into the 3RR thing. The user who reverted seems an experienced one, don't know why he insisted on keeping it, seeing that not a single reference was added, and my research returned nothing. — Legolas(talk2me)03:55, 14 September 2010 (UTC)
Jesus crap?? He is really angry, Hotch, you should be berry berry afraid. My research returned a Billboard link, but it said to call a hotline 1-800-XXX to order the album. It also clearly mentions that it is a bootleg. Lol. — Legolas(talk2me)06:34, 14 September 2010 (UTC)

I think most experienced editors would agree that your restoration of false and unsourced content violates several core Wikipedia policies, such as verifiability and reliable sourcing. Also, with your level of experience, you really should not be blind reverting.
I note you have now started making personal attacks, but unfortunately you have still not addressed any of the issues I raised. You have not explained why you "blind reverted" me, and you have not supported any of your 3RR claims with evidence. Please use this opportunity to do so.
I don't see how you fail to see a consensus on the talk page. Shadow's argument makes no reference at all to WP:NFCC, meaning it basically does not count. Yours seems to be false: the images on The Fame Monster are completely different, and would be extremely difficult to describe in text. Once you limit yourself to one image (a requirement since they are so similar), you then have to choose the one which allows you to describe the other. I don't see how you can believe that you can adequately describe the text in words so that people can understand what it looks like, and can't see any argument that says you can do so more effectively than saying "the other cover has the same image without text". All editors making arguments founded in policy are arguing for the text-free cover.—Kww(talk) 00:11, 19 September 2010 (UTC)
People rarely revisit discussions to say that they have changed their minds. Unfortunately, that's because people rarely change their minds. Be honest with yourself: if you had never seen either image, which would give you a more precise and accurate image: the image without text and "It features the words "Katy Perry" and "Teenage Dream" written in like-candy red letters"; or the image with the text, and "the other cover has the same image without text"? Especially since the text is red, white and blue, not red, is white striped in some sections and blue bordered in others. What is the spatial relationship between the words "Katy Perry" and the text "Teenage Dream"? How large are the letters relative to the cover size? What fonts are used? Your description served only to be a snarky reply, and didn't even begin to address the issue of actually describing the cover.—Kww(talk) 00:42, 19 September 2010 (UTC)

Hi Tbhotch, I've had to decline your A1 nomination of La marea village because it contained enough context to identify it. Google seems to prove its existence as well. Rehab
Hello, i see you have reviewed Rehab (Rihanna song). The editor asked me to reduce the audio sample for him but there is no need. According to Wikipedia:Music_samples#What_is_the_maximum_length_permitted.3F the song is 4:54 so will half a second, really matter? The length should be 29.4 if my math is correct. Its only half a second, it doesnt violate any copyright laws. What do you think? If you want a shorter one then let me know the length you would like and ill gladly upload a new one for him. - (CK)Lakeshade - talk2me - 20:12, 19 September 2010 (UTC)
German Pinscher Edit
Greetings. You reverted an edit that I had reverted that had been made by an unregistered user who constantly removed docked / cropped German Pinschers from the INTERNATIONAL English wiki which represents both the US (where dogs are docked and cropped) as well as Europe (where such alteration is mainly outlawed). I have spent MUCH time researching and enriching the page with factual and verifiable information. They have merely been vandals, including hateful speech on the page. Their IP is 81.226.7.18. Please help. Please don't block me. —Preceding unsigned comment added by GermanPinscher (talk • contribs) 05:20, 20 September 2010 (UTC)
There are not TWO kinds of dogs. There are actually 4 color varieties. The photo you reverted shows two of those colors - "red" and "black and tan". The "black and tan" is represented in the small picture in the text. The "red" had been the representative since I started working on the page a LONG time ago. What is not represented by the intext photo of the photo with TWO dogs in it is the breed with CROPPED ears - pointed and standing rather than droopy. There are not "kinds" these are all the same breed. Just different preferences by humans. Up until July, the representative photo was of a "red" with "pointy ears" and that HAD been acceptable. Why is it no longer?
ETA - the alternate accounts was merely an accident - this account was not registered with Wiki commons where I uploaded the photo. I didn't realize it didn't revert when I updated.GermanPinscher (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 05:30, 20 September 2010 (UTC).

What about the cropped ears? Also - GermanPinscher (no space) is not registered on WikiCommons. As I stated, it wasn't intentional to use two accounts. It was accidental. Sorry

Hola Axel! Quería saber si me podes ayudar con unas críticas de "Bad Romance" que no entiendo ni fu ni fa:
Lamb listed the song as one of the top tracks from The Fame Monster, and commented that "Lady Gaga's singing is at its best so far here as she moves from threatening to floating sweetness and back again. [...] If you had any fears that Gaga would be one album flash in the pan, the room filling beats and melodies of 'Bad Romance' should help dispel them."
Gil Kaufman from MTV described the "minimal beat [of the song] stays at a low boil for most, [...] rising up in an ecstatic, Erasure-esque throb during the chorus, but lacking the immediate pull of some of Gaga's biggest hits to date.
Sal Cinquemani from Slant Magazine characterized the song as one of the album's highlights and explained that "if melodies could be time-stamped, [this] would have '80s branded on [its ass]".
Thanks for your quick work spotting and reverting this odd European math vandalism. It is a rather unusual pattern which I don't quite understand. In any event, keep up the great work and let me know if you see something I can help with. --TeaDrinker (talk) 06:40, 23 September 2010 (UTC)

Hi there. It seems we've got off on the wrong foot with Devils Brigade (album). I think you're responding a bit harshly by accusing me of ownership when I've merely reverted a few grammatical/punctuation errors. With regard to your most recent edit, it is not actually an error: in English, "on" is not always in running text when referring to a calendar date; there are differing contexts in which it is and isn't appropriate. When it is used, it generally implies or necessitates the use of an ordinal suffix after the date (ie. "on August 31st, 2010"), which is discouraged by WP:MOS#Dates. I'm almost certain that at some point I read a Manual of Style guideline discouraging the use of "on" in this context, but I can't see to find it now so I've asked for more input at Wikiproject Music.
Also, I'd appreciate it if you didn't leave generic warning templates on my talk page, but rather actually attempt to discuss the specific edit in question either at my talk page or the article's, especially when I've already invited you do discuss it. I'm well aware of the rules, having been editing actively for about 4½ years. I hardly think that my edits in question are a violation of WP:OWN, considering that the article has only existed for a week and my reverts have consisted entirely of correcting minor errors. As a graduate-educated student of history, I've written many research papers and am quite familiar with the elements of style regarding grammar and puncutation. --IllaZilla (talk) 23:59, 3 October 2010 (UTC)

Explanation needed
Hello, why did you revert my edit here as per WP:BLANKING? I'm amazed that you did not read the history before you did that. There have been many AN/I reports about this IP and recently, an IP range block was put into place because of block evasion and harassment. As you can see from the history, the IP had removed a block template and I was reverting him. If you are still unsure about this, talk to Muzemike. He knows all about this. Please be careful in what you do. Bejinhantalks09:46, 5 October 2010 (UTC)
Actually, the main reason why I asked for that explanation is because I'm wondering how you came across that page, since the change wouldn't be in 'Recent changes' as it had been done some time prior to your reverting. Hm? Bejinhantalks00:32, 6 October 2010 (UTC)
No, I was thinking more along the lines of this. I'm very wary of that user and I think he can do anything possible, even that. Anyway, thanks for the explanation. Bejinhantalks02:23, 6 October 2010 (UTC)
Heartbreak Hotel
I totally disagree with the article nomination being rejected so soon and here are my points:
1. As a reviewer you have to point me what's wrong in the article for me to repair it, you did that but you didn't put the review on hold for giving me the time to even do it.
2. The image licenses are properly tagged that reduction thing i think its wrong. Those images are essential to illustrate properly the article.
The bottom line is that I'm asking you to put the article on hold because that rejection was too immediate and the mistakes in it only take minor edits. --Gduwen (talk) 23:44, 5 October 2010 (UTC)
I will do it again, but I consider that it was too quick for a consensus, most reviewers point out what's wrong like you did and strike out the items as the user fixes them until everything its done, I will re nominate it again later.--Gduwen (talk) 00:07, 6 October 2010 (UTC)
Hi Tbhotch. With this edit, you removed a translation of a headline from the Italian periodical, La Repubblica. However, as I have since discovered, WP:CITE requires a translation.
Because this is the English Wikipedia, English-language sources should be used in preference to non-English language sources of equal caliber and content, though the latter are allowed where appropriate. When quoting a source in a different language, please provide both the original-language quotation and an English translation, in the text, in a footnote, or on the talk page as appropriate.
WP:NONENG tells us that translations by reliable sources are preferable to those by Wikipedians. But, the use of the word, preferred, suggests that as a last resort, a translation by Wikipedians — perhaps the result of consensus — is acceptable.
In this case, perhaps as the news spreads, there will be an English-language source that can be added to the Italian one. Thanks! — SpikeToronto05:17, 6 October 2010 (UTC)
P.S. I just did a Google News search and found tonnes of of headlines in Italian and Spanish. Unfortunately, the only English-language ones that I could find were from gossip blogs, which I am not sure satisfy WP:RS. The Spanish sources have headlines that are so similar to English, anyone should be able to figure it our that the translation is correct. For example: “Tiziano Ferro revela que es gay.” It may be a little while before an English source picks it up (e.g., The Advocate). Thanks! — SpikeToronto05:38, 6 October 2010 (UTC)
Help!
Hi! How are you? I hope you're doing fine :D !
Well i haven't been here for a while but i've been busy with school, exams and everything .. Sorry for that... :P
My teacher told usin class to ask for help from our adopters to help us in the theme to write an article in wikipedia.
What would be interesting to write in wikipedia? Because i think that she wants us to write a new article but i don't know what should be interesting and with concrete information from existing internet sites or books. I thinks that maybe something about Mexico´s bicentennial would be interesting. but what do you think?
I never meant to attack anyone - and I would never dare to criticize the quality of Wikipedia's articles, as I'm far too thankful for the whole project's existence.
However, what I do criticize is the total lack of humor of the world in general, and Wikipedia in particular ;)
RE: [25] my google translator of the content of the source does not appear to mention Vanity Fair. Is something missing in the translation? also I am going to remove the content from the lead since it is covered in the body of the article and his sexual orientation does not appear to have (yet) been a major influence in his impact. Tbhotch,
Unsourced don't means "should be deleted", as you did. Wikipedia rules also say to accept good faith, good sense statements. What you needed is to show the doubt, thus with {Citation needed|date=October 2010}. In no case to deleted content, which is rather close to an unwilled vandalism. --Yug(talk)06:18, 13 October 2010 (UTC)
Please wait some few hours to blank an ongoing talk.
I'm searching for sources for the section "key members" of the mining incident, my connexion is slow, let me some minutes. 06:34, 13 October 2010 (UTC)
Done.
About your 3rd blanking of our ongoing talk. First, I agree, it's your allocated space, within the Wikipedia community. That imply that you don't have full/illimited power on it, you still have to respect other editors on it, that's common sense, and that include to not shut the door/talk unilaterally. Second, there is plenty of sections -inactive sections- to blank on your talk page space, so keep closing our ongoing talk is rather a specific choice, not link to saving space. Like is to insist twice [watching my edits?] to support the deletion of the redirect Luis Urzúa.
Mopsmanship is over-rated. There are so many tools around nowadays that anyone can do most of the janitorial work. But yeah, that hiring process is tough. Worse than a union initiation. Let me know if I can ever help you out with a officially approved mop. Will Bebacktalk10:54, 24 October 2010 (UTC)
Re: IP edit
Whaaaaa? Could you please correct your sentence for me, please? I'm not sure what you are trying to say. Yves (talk) 01:54, 17 October 2010 (UTC)
Haha okay. I'm just not sure what "Well, wait at most one day and I'll see you edit warrig about it, let see if the first IP still being it." means. Typo or missing word in incoherent run-on sentence, perhaps? To clarify, I mean it was the first IP edit after the expired semi-protection. Yves (talk) 01:58, 17 October 2010 (UTC)
Request
Re: [User_talk:Raul654#Battle_of_Lissa_.281811.29 this discussion] - in the future, when tagging articles scheduled for the main page, could you use a more descriptive edit summary -- something like "This article is schedule to appear as the main page featured article in the near future" (or something like that)? (Also, thank you for doing it - it's a thankless task). Raul654 (talk) 21:17, 17 October 2010 (UTC)
Thanks for the heads up - I like the notice. We requested the TFA via TFA/R, so it is not a surprise, and we have already added ALT text and done some minor cleanup, but I like the idea of the notice. Ruhrfisch><>°°19:33, 18 October 2010 (UTC)
Yes, I made one of the maps in that article and knew of the scheduling incident. By the way, I noticed a typo in the header of the notice, it should be "is scheduled": The article Leonard Harrison State Park is schedule[d] to appear as the main page featured article in the near future. Thanks again, Ruhrfisch><>°°19:42, 18 October 2010 (UTC)
Hi there, you reverted my addition of a cat here, on the grounds it was a redlink, fair do's but a least give us a minute to create the category! Oh well no harm done, the category is up and running and populated. Cheers. --Richhoncho (talk) 19:41, 19 October 2010 (UTC)
Hey. I am Richard Peterson. This photo is from a film I shot, Ironic Odyssey. It IS not a screen background. Please see the movie it is taken from at this link on Jeff Ragsdale's youtube page:

Actually the edit was rolled back for block evasion, which I would consider vandalisim. Check all the facts before you accuse me of misuse, on an uneraseable edit summary. CTJF83chat19:06, 21 October 2010 (UTC)
Well your hidden note shows you understand WP:BLP so not sure why you are questioning my revert anyway...clearly saying any of those pictured men have sex with men is a violation of BLP. CTJF83chat20:03, 21 October 2010 (UTC)
Hi
Hey we have been working on a proyect about a famous engineer called Bernardo Quintana. I was wondering if you could take a look at it and ell me what do you think we should change. thanks —Preceding unsigned comment added by DavidReque (talk • contribs) 04:40, 22 October 2010 (UTC)
Re: Cool
Those are misleading comments, I don't like to edit war, I just stand up for what I believe. What's wrong with italicising online source names? For instance, most Lady Gaga articles—if not all—who have GA status do it. I may as well take it to the talk page some other time. SnapSnap15:06, 23 October 2010 (UTC)
Thanks for participating last time :)
Hi Tbhotch thanks for participating in the failed nomination for Number 1's. The article didn't pass, even though you supported and there were no opposes. Supposedly there weren't enough "Support" to promote, even though there was no "Oppose". There just simply aren't enough people that visit the nomination page :(. So I nominated another article until I cann re-nominate the old one. This time I'll just invite people to come and review lol. So can you rview Daydream (Mariah Carey album)? Your quick and very helpful. Thanks anyway, here is the review page. Thanks anyway! :)--CallMeNathan • Talk2Me00:52, 24 October 2010 (UTC)
Thank you very much! I really apprecaite all your support! I just wish everyone on Wiki was as helpful as you, unfortunately, they oonly hinder Wiki's development. Thanks allot!! --CallMeNathan • Talk2Me08:09, 24 October 2010 (UTC)
Hello Tbhotch. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of European Club (band), a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: All three band members are notable; band is presumed to be important. Thank you. — Malik ShabazzTalk/Stalk04:27, 24 October 2010 (UTC)
Removing succession box
I don't really understand why you remove the succession box. I reviewed discussions about the removal of it but clearly a consensus has not reached yet. This editor had been warned of removing the boxes before a clear consensus is reached. Also the link you directed (WT:Charts) is not valid and the page does not exist. --Yong (talk) 06:15, 24 October 2010 (UTC)
Wikipedia question on template you recently unlocked
Hi, a template you recently unlocked, Template:World_Heritage_Sites_in_Israel, the dispute has not been resolved. After countless attempts to generate discussion on the talk page, the undoing party refuses to contribute though vital facts are being presented. Help me out please. :-\ asad (talk) 01:56, 26 October 2010 (UTC)
You reverted my edit on Lady Gaga's "The Fame" album page where I updated the album's certification in France to 5x Platinum. The article I cited indicated that "The Fame" has been certified diamond in France. The diamond certification threshold in France is 5x Platinum. I will update this certification again.
I will leave it as diamond certification then, though saying 5x Platinum would be just as accurate as citing a diamond certified album in the U.S. as 10x Platinum. The article is talking about sales including the re-release of "The Fame" which contained the 8 additional tracks from "The Fame Monster" EP. "The Fame Monster" was not released as a standalone album in France as it was in the U.S.
My bad, and my apologies. I actually removed that material orginally , and was reverted by someone who's stalking and reverting me. I accidentally reverterd your correction of the reversion of my deletion: A sentence that only makes sense on Wikipedia! Thanks, and sorry. John2510 (talk) 23:12, 26 October 2010 (UTC)
Hello. You have a new message at Lionelt's talk page.
Looie496
Looie496 recently declined your request for protection of the Men who have sex with men page. [26] It is fairly clear from Looie's comment that he doesn't know what he is talking about. If you would like to discuss this man's behaviour further, please drop a note on my talk page. BadBabysitter (talk) 00:54, 27 October 2010 (UTC)
I know I was a little surprised about the decline, but I didn't want to discuss it. for now seems like the edit wars have decreased, so re-re-ask protection would not work. If you want to debate about the topic you can join us at the MSM talkpage. TbhotchTalkC.01:07, 27 October 2010 (UTC)
The move by the previous editor was not warranted or done properly. But I copy/pasted it b/c the revert option at its log page was not there. I think there is a guideline that supports this if such an option is not available. Will u atleast help me move it back to "Slant Magazine" properly? Dan56 (talk) 03:11, 27 October 2010 (UTC)
Thanks for reverting the changes of User:Pancasila, who seem to have vandalized my user page for the second time. I would greatly appreciate if you could give him a notice on that. Best, John Hyams (talk) 13:50, 27 October 2010 (UTC)
Hi, if you see where someone obviously intended to create a sandbox, but accidentally did so in mainspace, instead of asking for speedy deletion, you can move the article to the editor's own space. I refer to User:Enwich Kazondu/sandbox/ which I moved to the editor's space after you put a speedy deletion tag on it. LadyofShalott20:29, 28 October 2010 (UTC)
Hi Tbhotch, I've declined your sticky prod on Casino Steel because it looks to me that the article is about a band rather than the biography of a living person. ϢereSpielChequers23:13, 28 October 2010 (UTC)
Any chance someone could remove the serial comma added to the article's TFA blurb, on 5 November? Its here - "Sir Everard Digby, and Francis Tresham". Parrotof Doom16:53, 30 October 2010 (UTC)
