Farza District is a new district of Kabul Province, Afghanistan. It has a population of 18,000 people (2002 official UNHCR est.), a mixture of Pashtuns and Tajiks.[1] In January 1991, Farza was separated as an independent district from Mir Bacha Kot District but this structure was never recognised by the Taliban government. The district headquarter is Dehnawe Farza. It is a small district north of Kabul up in the hills of the northwestern part of Shomali Plain. Farza district contains eighteen (18) villages. The main source of income is the agriculture industry.
Also there is girl Farza Shereef PK named on this district . She is also called "Chala" meaning cheap fish . She has 23 years of experience in selling chala fish on the streets of Kozhikode .
