ALTBalaji is a subscription based video on Demand platform which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Balaji Telefilms Ltd.[1][2][3] Launched on 16th April, 2017, ALTBalaji is the Group’s foray into the digital entertainment to create original, premium, and tailor-made content especially for Indians across the globe.[4][5]

ALTBalaji is available across 32 different interfaces for its viewers.[6] Marrying technology with gripping storytelling, ALTBalaji is available on mobile and tablet devices (Apple phone, Apple iPad, Android phone, Android tablet), Web Browser (Desktop Browser), Android TV, and Windows (Windows PC, Windows mobile, Windows tablet).[7][8][9][10]
ALTBalaji is the largest content bank seen in India.[11] ALTBalaji encompasses stories ranging from drama, comedy, and romance, to thriller, crime, and mystery, ensuring there is something for every viewer with a distinguished choice of entertainment.[12]
Original Shows
The app will showcase more than 250 hours of original content with a new show every month, with 32 new shows lined up in the first year, featuring India’s award winning actors & directors.[13] The vast content bank also includes 100+ hours of kids’ content as well as urban regional shows in Tamil, Punjabi, Bengali, Gujarati, & many more languages.[14][15][16][17][18]
