Talk (2010–2019)
[edit]The article Lee Soo-Chul has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Owner
[edit]FC Seoul doesn't have Owner. The owner of something is the 'PERSON' to whom belongs. K-Leauge clubs like FC Seoul are not be owned by person. So, they don't have owner, just have Parent-company. z4617925 (talk) 15:12, 21 December 2010 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of K-League ‘Fan'tastic Player Award
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on K-League ‘Fan'tastic Player Award requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Phearson (talk) 15:39, 11 March 2011 (UTC)
Removing Speedy at K-League ‘Fan'tastic Player Award
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from K-League ‘Fan'tastic Player Award, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. - SDPatrolBot (talk) 15:44, 11 March 2011 (UTC)
Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with K-League ‘Fan'tastic Player Award. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion, and make your case on the page's talk page. Thank you. - SDPatrolBot (talk) 15:46, 11 March 2011 (UTC)
Please stop removing speedy deletion notices from pages that you have created yourself, as you did with K-League ‘Fan'tastic Player Award. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. - SDPatrolBot (talk) 15:48, 11 March 2011 (UTC)

non-free image use
[edit]Hi. It may have escaped your attention, but the image you have inserted here is tagged as non-free. That means, that a detailed fair-use rationale should be on the image description page, telling why the image is necessary on each page where it is displayed. At the moment, there is a fair-use rationale for the use on Anyang LG Cheetahs, but not for FC Seoul, and that was why I removed the image (and no, that is not vandalism, it is bringing a page in line with the relevant policies that are linked in my edit summary - please take care with calling things vandalism). May I ask you to write a fair-use rationale for that image? Thank you. --Dirk Beetstra T C 09:56, 30 June 2011 (UTC)
- (copied from my talkpage):
- No, I mean that you have to add a second rationale to the image description page for the other page where it is displayed. In principle you can copy the rationale that is there, paste it a second time on the same page, and then adapt both the name of the page in the new rationale (so it points to the correct page), and the reason why it should be displayed on the second one. In the end, it needs a rationale for every display of the image (and that can be one rationale if it is displayed on one page, or even a hundred separate rationales if it is displayed on 100 independent pages). I hope this explains. --Dirk Beetstra T C 11:53, 1 July 2011 (UTC)
- Footwiks, I know you don't understand how to solve it, but that is not a reason to re-insert the image without actually solving the problem. The image needs a rationale, and I am sorry, but I don't know the rationale here. You need to
- Go to the image description page: File:Anyang LG Cheetahs logo.svg
- You need to edit that page, and state on that page on which page you are going to use it (FC Seoul) and why you think that that image is needed, before re-inserting. Please, do not insert that image without a rationale.
- Alternatively, please ask on the talkpage of FC Seoul about the image, and give an explanation, and wait for another user to insert the image. I hope this explains. --Dirk Beetstra T C 09:58, 4 July 2011 (UTC)

[edit]Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. We always appreciate when users upload new images. However, it appears that one or more of the images you have recently uploaded or added to an article may fail our non-free image policy. Most often, this involves editors uploading or using a copyrighted image of a living person. For other possible reasons, please read up on our Non-free image criteria. Please note that we take very seriously our criteria on non-free image uploads and users who repeatedly upload or misuse non-free images may be blocked from editing. The article SSID (mascot) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Mascot isn't notable as there isn't sufficient coverage in independent and reliable sources
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Mrmatiko (talk) 16:12, 9 August 2011 (UTC)

King's Cup and Korea Cup
Saint9016 (talk) 08:13, 1 November 2011 (UTC)
Re:foreign players article
[edit]If you're suggesting I have some kind of ulterior motive for this then you're wrong. Both of the clubs I nominated already have lists for all players, why the need for a seperate article? In Seoul's case I simply renamed it so it could include Koreans and foreigners alike. Busan I'Park
[edit]By all means nominate template:Busan I Park for deletion but before you do so you must fix the articles that use it. Similarly for 2012 Busan I Park season. I will let others decide whether it should be "IPark", "I Park" or "I'Park" but given that {{Busan IPark}} was consistent in using "I'Park" for the season articles, then the 2012 article should, at least for the time being, do the same. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 11:32, 25 February 2012 (UTC)

Removing Speedy at Ssangyong Cement FC
[edit]Hi Footwiks, you recently removed a deletion tag from Ssangyong Cement FC. Because Wikipedia policy does not allow the creator of the page to remove speedy deletion tags, an automated program has replaced the tag. Although the deletion proposal may be incorrect, removing the tag is not the correct way for you to contest the deletion, even if you are more experienced than the nominator. Instead, please use the talk page to explain why the page should not be deleted. Remember to be patient, there is no harm in waiting for another experienced user to review the deletion and judge what the right course of action is. As you are involved, and therefore potentially biased, you should refrain from doing this yourself. Thank you, - SDPatrolBot (talk) 14:04, 28 February 2012 (UTC)

claims require sources
[edit]re your edit and summary [1] you will need to actually provide those sources that claim "powerhouse". but the "legend" terminology will never be acceptable WP:PEACOCK. -- The Red Pen of Doom 04:18, 16 April 2012 (UTC)
- and links to commercial sites are not acceptable WP:ELNO -- The Red Pen of Doom 04:20, 16 April 2012 (UTC)
the claims etc in [2] appear to be coming from folks affiliated directly with the team and are therefore not acceptable. "This is commonsense in Korea" is not acceptable for article content. When challenged, which you have been, you need to provide a reliable source. -- The Red Pen of Doom 16:10, 16 April 2012 (UTC)
- re: Football League 100 Legends - as it stands it is probably NOT a valid article, but it is still a valid use of the word "legend" because it is about a specific article/award called "Football League 100 Legends" whereas your insistence on using the term in the FC Seoul is completely unsourced and completely irrel to the actual subject of the article, the team, AND just used to impart important status because you are tagging his name with a puffed up utterly meaningless show title.

edit war notice
[edit]I suggest that you revert yourself [4] your edit warring against consensus and policy will lead you to being blocked. -- The Red Pen of Doom 04:45, 18 April 2012 (UTC)
Treat other editors civilly
[edit]If you want to be able to continue editing, you will STOP calling other editor's idiots [5] calling them ("abnormally obsessed " or otherwise attempting to belittle them "Do you lose your job or Do you broke up your girl friend? "
if your intention was to get me to leave the article alone, you have failed.
see WP:NPA and WP:CIVIL -- The Red Pen of Doom 05:41, 18 April 2012 (UTC)
Adding to the above:
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Please be particularly aware, Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing.Curb Chain (talk) 05:48, 18 April 2012 (UTC)
Apparently, you claim that powerhouse and legend are used by sources in http://100.naver.com/ but it looks like a homepage of a website so if this was true, where would it be on the page, as I highly doubt it is on THAT page, but in a page out of a list of search items searched from that page? Also, can you sign your posts as since you repeatedly do not, it seems like you are trying to evade scrutiny.Curb Chain (talk) 05:59, 18 April 2012 (UTC)

[edit]This is your last warning. The next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at FC Seoul, you may be blocked from editing without further notice.
your continued insertion of unsourced or poorly sourced claims[[6]] , against the consensus on the talk page, is unacceptable behavior. -- The Red Pen of Doom 10:55, 19 April 2012 (UTC)
- re your justification that the Manchester United article has a similar claim - the claim in that article is supported by 4 count'em FOUR reliable sources. -- The Red Pen of Doom 11:11, 19 April 2012 (UTC)
- 1) sign your posts
- 2) it is not just "my opinion" - there have been 3, yes count 'em, THREE, experienced editors who have said that our policies say that you need proper sourcing for that claim.
- 3) just because other articles are in bad shape, why would that be a reason to let another article descend into suckiness?
- 4) sign your damn posts. -- The Red Pen of Doom 23:27, 19 April 2012 (UTC)
- All of the above. I second. Especially signing your posts. I have to go to the history to get to your user talk page. And the list of homework you gave to User:TheRedPenOfDoom: I checked Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors. There were none of the haughtiness/haughty phrases found in FC Seoul. I suspect you are being disruptive.Curb Chain (talk) 23:46, 19 April 2012 (UTC)
- And unless i am completely off, the source that you added to support the claim that FCSeoul is popular and financially successful is just a quote from the president of the club pimping his team. You need a source not related to the team to be making the claims. -- The Red Pen of Doom 01:18, 20 April 2012 (UTC)

Final warning
[edit]Your recent editing history at FC Seoul shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. -- The Red Pen of Doom 12:42, 23 April 2012 (UTC)

This is an automated message from MadmanBot. I have performed a search with the contents of ROK Marine Corps FC, and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: ROK Army FC. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally trying to rename an article, please see Help:Moving a page for instructions on how to do this without copying and pasting. If you are trying to move or copy content from one article to a different one, please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia and be sure you have acknowledged the duplication of material in an edit summary to preserve attribution history.

Re: About korean football club deletion
[edit]Last April, all of these articles were deleted as the result of a deletion discussion (found here). The articles you created are not substantively different from the ones that were deleted three months ago and do not address the concerns brought up in the discussion, meaning they qualify for speedy deletion per WP:CSD#G4. If you can address these concerns by providing significant coverage of these clubs in reliable sources, I will gladly drop my objections to their inclusion in the encyclopaedia. As for your argument concerning certain American clubs, I refer you to WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS. Each article is to be adjudged on its own merits. Also please be aware, that the creator of an article is not permitted to remove speedy deletion tags from it. Finally, when posting on a talk page please type four tildes (~~~~) after your comment. Doing so displays your username, and the time and date you posted it, which makes it easier to keep track of who said what. I hope that clarifies things. Best Regards. The article Korea Automobile Insurance Company FC has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. [edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited FC Seoul in Asian football, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Yan Song (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

This is an automated message from MadmanBot. I have performed a search with the contents of 2013 FC Seoul season, and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: 2012 FC Seoul season.
It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. MadmanBot (talk) 08:11, 19 December 2012 (UTC)
The article Park Lee-Chun has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. -- MST☆R (Merry Christmas!) 13:36, 22 December 2012 (UTC)

[edit]Hello. It appears that you have been canvassing—leaving messages on biased users' talk pages to notify them of an ongoing community decision, debate, or vote—in order to influence User talk:DUCKISJAMMMY. While friendly notices are allowed, they should be limited and nonpartisan in distribution and should reflect a neutral point of view. Please do not post notices which are indiscriminately cross-posted, which espouse a certain point of view or side of a debate, or which are selectively sent only to those who are believed to hold the same opinion as you. South Korean football
[edit]Please read the second paragraph of WP:CFD — established categories should not be emptied without a discussion. For that reason, my actions were simply restoring things to the way they were before you emptied the category out of process. If you take the category to CFD and obtain consensus, I'll definitely not obstruct the change of categories. Nyttend (talk) 12:36, 7 January 2013 (UTC)
- As I said before, stop attempting to move categories out of process. Moreover, why are you moving lots of pages from their previous "K-League" titles without any explanation? As WP:MOVE says, the "Reason for move" portion is as essential as an edit summary. Nyttend (talk) 06:29, 8 January 2013 (UTC)
- Again, this is prohibited by policy. You're tagging categories under C1, which does not apply to categories whose contents have been removed out of process. Please file some CFDs if you want to see these categories moved; my lack of knowledge about the situation means that I have no opinion on whether these moves be needed or not. Nyttend (talk) 13:10, 8 January 2013 (UTC)
- I am a volunteer also. There are other people here who understand both Korean and English and pay attention to football. When I attempt to edit other languages' Wikipedias, I do my best to follow their policies, and if I find that I've done something problematic, I stop. Nyttend (talk) 13:20, 8 January 2013 (UTC)
- I'm only asking you to participate in building consensus and helping others to know why you're doing what you're doing. When I first mentioned this issue yesterday, I wasn't yet impatient: I don't expect newcomers to understand the way we do things. The problem is that you continue despite my links and warnings. Nyttend (talk) 13:32, 8 January 2013 (UTC)
- I couldn't care less about Korean football. Go with a CFD or drop the issue. Nyttend (talk) 14:47, 25 January 2013 (UTC)
- I found it while patrolling our speedy deletion category, since you had tagged a page for speedy deletion that did not qualify, and you continued asking me to ignore our policies and objecting that they were not accurate. It is surely good to improve accuracy, but not in a way that can cause chaos. Please look through Category:User ko-3, Category:User ko-4, or Category:User ko-N to find someone who speaks good English (look for someone who is also in Category:User en-3, en-4, or en-N) and who has made contributions recently. You can use Korean to tell this person why you want the category to be moved, and he will then be able to explain in English what to do. You could also go to the language reference desk, explain that you need help starting a WP:CFD, and write in Korean the reasons for trying to get the category moved. Someone will be able to translate your reasons and start the process of moving the category. Nyttend (talk) 15:48, 25 January 2013 (UTC)
- It's my responsibility to stop people who disrupt the encyclopedia, especially when they repeatedly refuse polite attempts to point them in the correct direction. I'm trying to work around your unfamiliarity with English, but since you blame me for the situation and refuse to take advantage of assistance, I don't particularly see much reason to continue to try to help you. I will continue to watch for disruptive editing, whether emptying categories out of process or ignoring consensus on navboxes, and you will end up being blocked if you cannot participate in building consensus. Nyttend (talk) 01:42, 26 January 2013 (UTC)
- This is your last warning. The next time you make personal attacks on other people, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Comment on content, not on fellow editors. Nyttend (talk) 01:54, 26 January 2013 (UTC)

Disruptive edits on Seoul National University
[edit]Dear user, we have detected that you are making disruptive edits on the 서울대학교 Seoul National University page. If you wish to raise an issue, put it forth on the SNU talk page. You seem to be deleting because WP:IDONTLIKEIT. As we wrote about the Kyungsung issue. Either you write it Gyeongseong Daehak (Revised Romanization) or Kyŏngsŏng Taehak (McCune-Reischauer). You wrote this, "But We don't change accurate name because of foreigners confusing". Yes, we did change the name to not confuse foreigners, and we changed it in 1997. 강원대학교 uses Kangwon University because the institution still exists, and it continues to use the McCune-Reischauer system for proprietary reasons. 전남 Dragons uses Chunnam because it still exists today. Snowfalcon cu Snowfalcon cu (talk) 04:18, 18 May 2013 (UTC)
Hi,,,Are you Korean? I explain why I edited them. Before 2000, Korean wrote Kyungsung Kyonggi (Location Name),Koo (Family name), But 2000 We is wrighting Gyunsung, Gyeonggi, Goo..... I hope that you understand themFootwiks (talk) 02:02, 18 May 2013 (UTC)
- 네 안녕하세요. As we wrote in the tag line, after 1997, the Korean government decided to write the old name 경성대 as Gyeongseong in the Revised Romanization system. Kyungsung University, in Busan, still used the Mccune-Reischauer system for its name. Snowfalcon cu (talk) 02:07, 18 May 2013 (UTC)
- They do so to now confuse the two institutions. Snowfalcon cu Snowfalcon cu (talk) 04:18, 18 May 2013 (UTC)
- See Keijo Imperial University page for details. Either you write Gyeongseong Daehak (Revised Romanization) or Kyŏngsŏng Taehak (McCune-Reischauer), but not Kyungsung, which is another institution in 부산. Snowfalcon cu (talk) 04:18, 18 May 2013 (UTC)
Kyungsung University used before 1950s under Japanese rulling, We can't change the name at that time by current Revised Romanization. In Korea, Old School, Hospital, Sport Club used still old Revised Romanization. For example Kangwon National University, Chunnam Dragons. Kyungsung University and Kyungsung University of Seoul's counfusing is not important. Just foreigners are confusing. But We don't change accurate name because of foreigners confusing.Footwiks (talk)
경성대학교(慶星大學校) in Busan 경성제국대학교(京城, 게이조)in Seoul
Kyungsung University in Busan and Kyungsung University in Seoul are same Korean prononcitiona but Chineases letter is differtent. So meaning is different. Why Kyungsung University in Seoul change to Gyeongsoung. Actually Kyungsung Univerisity in Seoul is older thant Busan's.Footwiks (talk)
Let's debate later on. At the moment I'm busyFootwiks (talk) 02:39, 18 May 2013 (UTC)
- There is no debate on this matter. Korean government rule applies here, not Wiki user preference. You may write Gyeongseong Daehak or Kyŏngsŏng Taehak, but you may not write Kyungsung University, which is an extant university in Busan. If you have an issue, bring it up on the SNU Talk page. Snowfalcon cu (talk) 04:18, 18 May 2013 (UTC)
- I also think that there is no debate on this matter. This is just foreinger's ingnorance. Don you know proper noun?
Korean government rule applies only things with government. School name, Hospital name , Sport club name, Company nanem, Personal name are not applied. Revised Romanization is not law. We can use still old Romanization at School name, Hospital name , Sport club name, Company name. Kyungsung University in Seoul before 1950s is not related Korean government.Footwiks (talk)
- Foreigners do not apply name rules to Korean institutions, but we Koreans do. We keep telling you, you may write Gyeongseong or Kyŏngsŏng, but not Kyungsung. It is not foreign ignorance because Koreans apply this rule. Take a look at this article when the Koreans wrote it. Since 2003
- Seoul_National_University&oldid=5366022.
- Seoul_National_University&oldid=9569272
- Even more important, not only is your spelling wrong, it also confuses. To be sure, we went to Google search. When I type Gyeongseong University, I get 5170 results that link to the original university. But, when I type Kyungsung University, I get 191,000 results that link to Busan. Snowfalcon cu (talk) 04:18, 18 May 2013 (UTC)
- As we wrote before, you may address the issue in the SNU Talk Page. Fortunately this has nothing to do with foreign ignorance. Snowfalcon cu (talk) 04:18, 18 May 2013 (UTC)
- As we wrote above in several places, you are welcome to write Gyeongseong University (국어의 로마자 표기법) or Kyŏngsŏng University (매큔-라이샤워 표기법). Both names written above are official by Seoul National University (서울대학교). SNU Wiki article has been using "Gyeongseong University" since 2003. Visit search.snu.ac.kr/popup.jsp. Speedy deletion nomination of Chung Mong-gyu
[edit]Hello Footwiks,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Chung Mong-gyu for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. TRL (talk) 05:35, 20 July 2013 (UTC)
List of FC Seoul players
[edit]Please do not continue to add an indiscriminate list of players; use the article talk page and stop acting like you OWN the page at once. GiantSnowman 10:48, 22 July 2013 (UTC)
- I implore you again to use the article talk page; you should also stop accusing other editors of vandalism, and stop violating WP:OWN. GiantSnowman 11:53, 22 July 2013 (UTC)
- I have to agree with GiantSnowman here. The article was (and still is) in a terrible state. You claim that the !voters in the AfD didn't have a problem with the article content, when quite the opposite was true. There are several "List of ... players" articles at Featured List status, and I suggest we model this article on those. If you have a problem with that, I suggest you set up your own FC Seoul wiki, but don't treat Wikipedia as your own personal FC Seoul project. – PeeJay 21:05, 22 July 2013 (UTC)

- GiantSnowman, Comply with the result of disscution. 3 years ago, List of FC Seoul players was independent article, But after discutions, we merged this articled to List of FC Seoul players. On this article, We can wright anyting about FC Seoul players. There are several "List of ... players" articles. Why is this problem? This articel is giving various information to wiki users. Do you think that your edition is informative? That is just name list. Put yourself in wikiuser's place. Many people visit wikepedia, In order to find useful and various information. Which edition is informative? I hope you have flexibility. Wikepedia is not military system.

Myself and another user have attempted to solve that problem, by both editing the article and posting on the talk page - all you have done is blindly revert. Request reason:
I understood why I blocked, I studied and perceived the rull of WP:CIR. If you relive the unblocking, I'll raise competence to edit and discuss on English Wikipedia and I'll comply with all rulls of Wikipedia sincerely. As you know, There was no malice in what I acted. Except this case, I never cause any dispute including vandal or tell a swear word since I edited on Wikipedia. I ask for favorable arrangements. Finally, I'm really sorry for troubling all users

- I did a disruptive editing on List of FC Seoul players repeatedly. I neglected the consensus.
- And how long do you expect to take to raise your degree of competence in the English language to the necessary level? Because right now it is clearly not adequate. --Anthony Bradbury"talk" 15:17, 9 August 2013 (UTC)
- I'll raise my degree of competence in the English language as soon as possilbe. I'll study English everyday. 2 weeks is enough.
- And how long do you expect to take to raise your degree of competence in the English language to the necessary level? Because right now it is clearly not adequate. --Anthony Bradbury"talk" 15:17, 9 August 2013 (UTC)
- If Footwiks agrees to stop editing the List of FC Seoul players article for a bit, and instead use the article talk page to come to an agreement on format and inclusion criteria, then I say we should unblock. If any similar disruption/editing patterns occur in the future then we should re-block. GiantSnowman 16:29, 9 August 2013 (UTC)
- (1)"I did a disruptive editing on List of FC Seoul players repeatedly. I neglected the consensus." is demonstration of adequate communication skills, I've been communicating in English all my life, yet often I am heckled for it being woeful. So two weeks sounds like being a little too optimistic. (2.0) I suggest you use spell check before you save your talk page edits. (2.1) Do you mean Footwiks that you would'nt revert anyone who undoes your edits? That would be a wonderful policy to follow, it is a little frustrating to begin with, but in the long run it keeps one out of trouble. My experience. (3)Footwiks I think you should take GS's advice regarding List of FC Seoul players as a formal topic ban directive. Wikipedia is a huge place 4 million articles, enjoy other places too. Yogesh Khandke (talk) 20:20, 9 August 2013 (UTC)

This is an automated message from MadmanBot. I have performed a search with the contents of 2014 FC Seoul season, and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: 2013 FC Seoul season.
It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. MadmanBot (talk) 05:45, 26 January 2014 (UTC)

[edit]Hello. I just noticed that you "moved" the APEP F.C. article by cutting and pasting to a new title. This is not allowed. If you want to move an article, you have to use the move tab. If this doesn't work, you must follow the WP:RM process. Thanks, Number 57 00:27, 17 March 2014 (UTC)
The article Sim Sang-Min has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Article about a footballer who fails WP:GNG and who has not played in a fully pro league.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Sir Sputnik (talk) 19:40, 25 March 2014 (UTC)

Cosmos vs New York Cosmos
[edit]Any particular reason you dropped the "Cosmos" listing from the teams of NASL chart? The franchise did change for the 1977 & 1978 seasons by dropping "New York" from the name. Part of their rational was b/c they'd moved out of the city to Giants Stadium in NJ in 1977, the other was b/c they felt they'd become a global brand like Santos or Juventus. Every NASL game program and newspaper story I've read from that time frame referred to them as the "Cosmos" only. In fact the 1979 NASL programs that contained stats from 1978 season listed the players as playing for "Cosmos" while every other team was listed by "City & Mascot" (e.g. Washington Diplomats). Some NPs even poked fun at the presumptuous nature of the name change. Of course the franchise then returned to the original name in 1979.
Based on these facts, I think it's correct to list a franchise known as "Cosmos" on the chart, since it did in fact exist for 2 years. This is no different than the Atlanta Chiefs becoming the Apollos in 1973 (i.e. same franchise, same owners, same location, different name) or the Miami Gatos becoming the Miami Toros. I'll leave it to you. Kind regards. -Creativewill (talk) 14:26, 29 May 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks for your visiting. I was interested in old NASL. So I already aware of name change of New York Cosmos. But current NASL chart, It is easy to misconstrue. Chart is displayed like New York Cosmos and Cosmos are separate club. As you know, New York Cosmos (1971-76, 1979-84) and Cosmos (1977-78) are officialy same club. It's a just team name change. So I correct them.
Anyway I have a question. At that time, if the club relocated, officially considerd an new team by NASL?. So history and competitive records would not be transferred? For example, Are Belows club officially same club or separate club?
Washington Darts, Miami Gatos / Toros, Fort Lauderdale Strikers, Minnesota Strikers
Were they case by case? Some relocated club considered an same one club, Some relocated club considered an separted clubs?
I think NASL Chart have to be improved to be easy to understand. For Average men without NASL backgrounds, This chart is difficult.
Firstly, In relocation case, Distingish same club case and separate club case.
If the Washington Darts, Miami Gatos / Toros, Fort Lauderdale Strikers, Minnesota Strikers are same club, regadless of relocation, Items in chart and articles in Wikipedia have to be merged.
Please refer to this section, All-time K League Clubs part at K League, Similary, many clubs in K League had name change and relocation, But Chart is easy to understand about franchise and club name changing history.
I hope that NASL Chart have to be improve like All-time K League Clubs part. Thanks. Footwiks (talk) 02:35, 30 May 2014 (UTC)
- Because the NASL has a finite history, none of the teams are currently active (unlike in other leagues) and therefore the list will not continue to grow over time as might occur in other leagues, regardless of the sport. The purpose of the chart is to show every team-name that existed, no matter how subtle or drastic the change. Also, there are those who only remember one team in a particular city, when there were actually two, three or even four! This list facilitates that. Previously the chart was not chart, but instead just a list containing only the information now found in the third column. It was difficult to view and it was difficult to find teams, if you didn't know their entire naming history. The four-columned chart clarified the list.
- I'm not sure what confuses you about the chart. The columns are clearly defined. The column heading that says "evolution of franchise" indicates that all teams in that progression are the same franchise.
- 1. The chart is done in such a way that you can clearly reference every NASL franchise by any name the franchise ever used (column one).
- 2. You can clearly see how long the franchise existed (column two).
- 3. You can clearly see all of the names the franchise used chronologically (column three).
- 4. You can clearly see what other league(s) the franchise played in (column four).
- I wonder if your confusion comes from your lack of 100% proficiency with the English language. This is not meant as an insult. I say this only because your comments contained NUMEROUS minor errors that are consistent with some who does not use English as their primary language. It's not uncommon to miss the subtleties of a second language when conversing with a native speaker.
- As I said, because the original NASL no longer exists, none of the teams are currently active and the list will NOT continue to grow over time as might occur in places like the K League. In conclusion, I would ask you to consider your edit, by reverting your changes to the chart. As it currently reads with your changes, you have created confusion by making it appear that the "Cosmos" never existed as an official team name of the old NASL, which you clearly know is incorrect. -regards, Creativewill (talk) 04:11, 1 June 2014 (UTC)
- I admit and understand your chart has advantage that you explained and intended. But your chart also has disadvantage. Your chart don't have function that distinguish club change history - including team name, franchise and just team name change history and just franchise change histroy.
Therefore, your chart have too many rows about teams unnecessarily .
Your chart have 67 teams. 67 teams including New York Cosmos and Cosmos as each separate teams. New York Cosmos have to be counted as one team. In addition, regarless of relocations, If the predecessor and relocated club are officially considerd as an same club by NASL, So history and competitive records are transferred to relcocated club, involved all clubs have to be counted as on team.
OK, your chart has unique advantage and purpose. So I accept that and I don't care about English Wikipedia.
But in old NASL article of Korean wikepedia, I want to arranged them as belows
1. One club has only one row.
For example
- New York Cosmos (1971-84) : New York Cosmos (1971-76) -> Cosmos (1977-78) -> New York Cosmos (1979-84)
2. Regadless of franchise relocation, Officail successor club has one row including all predecessor changing history.
For example
- Minnesota Strikers (1970-1984) : Washington Darts (1970-1971) -> Miami Gatos (1972) -> Miami Toros (1973-1976) -> Fort Lauderdale Strikers (1977-1983) -> Minnesota Strikers (1984)
Refer to St. Louis Rams article, I want to express club change history as bellows. Cleveland Rams (1936–1945) Los Angeles Rams (1946–1994) St. Louis Rams (1995–present)
About 2 principle, I need your help, I don't have informations about decision of connecting predecessor and successor at that time. I think, some club considered as an same club, some club considered as an each club by NASL at that time, Where can I check out them?
If you have informaitons, I hope to create new chart including club change history like St. Louis Rams article. Footwiks (talk) 12:29, 1 June 2014 (UTC)
- It seems you are making this more difficult than it needs to be. All of the information you seek is within that chart. It will just require some time to extract it for your purposes on the Korean wiki. What is clear in one language or culture may not be the same in another. In the English chart, if the names all appear in Column 3 together, then it is the same franchise. Therefore I would say to use Column 3 of the chart as a starting basis for what you want to do on the Korean wiki page (but please return the English chart to the way you found it). Regarding using Column 3 from the NASL teams chart; since those names are linked to the NASL teams' pages you can find the time frames you are searching for by navigating to the links. For example in the 5th row: the Baltimore Comets, San Diego Jaws, Las Vegas Quicksilvers, and the San Diego Sockers are all the same franchise. The oldest comes first and the most recent is listed last. It requires some time to do it the way you want, but all of the information (the dates) is already there for you. The only ones that are really tricky would be the 2nd Atlanta Chiefs franchise, the 2nd Washington Diplomats franchise (because they recycled a name when they moved), and the whole Toronto Metros, Metros-Croatia, Blizzard evolution (it was a team, then a merger, then a split). I think every NASL team named has its logo and its final kit used listed on its page, therefore you can grab those as well for your purposes on the Korean wiki.
- So in the end I think you will have about 43 different NASL franchises that used 67 names. Exactly how you think is the best way to display them on the Korean wiki, is not for me to say. That is because my knowledge of your culture and language is very limited. I am not qualified. Regards -Creativewill (talk) 15:13, 1 June 2014 (UTC)
- I see no "chart" on the St. Louis Rams page pertaining to team evolution. Creativewill (talk) 15:17, 1 June 2014 (UTC)
- I reverted to chart that you created on a team names basis. So New York Cosmos has two rows. But Your chart have to take a note about the total number of teams. 67 teams are wrong. There were just 67 team names. About 43 teams or 43 clubs is accurate.
Including Premier League , All leagues over the World, In this case, Bellow comment is general
- 3 teams that played in the Premier League,
Not commented like your chart
- 7 teams that played in the Premier League,
For example
Royal Arsenal -> Wollich Aresla -> Asenal FC (counted as one team)
Newton Heath FC -> Manchester United FC (counted as one team)
St Domingo's F.C. -> Everton FC (counted as one team)
I think '67 teams' is a misleading information.
So I hope that you take a note about the total numbur of teams and the total numbur of team names in detail. Footwiks (talk) 06:19, 2 June 2014 (UTC)
English Grammar Lesson
[edit]- The way you've edited the sentence, the meaning is now untrue. First of all if it were true, the math used in the sentence changes, but you failed to recognize that fact and edit thusly.
Now for the big part of the lesson:
- Originally the sentence read, "Over half of the 67 teams that played in the NASL over the course of its 17 seasons were relocations of existing franchises, while a handful were merely name changes of existing teams like the Apollos, Cosmos and Earthquakes."
- This statement was correct as it stood because the predicate nominative (i.e. relocations of existing franchises) correctly re-identifies the subject (i.e. Over half of the 67 teams) as being the same franchises –which is what you keep trying to say with your misguided edit. Moreover, in layman's terms (in the English language anyway) very few would ever think of the Baltimore Comets (for example) as the same "team" as San Dego Sockers, even though they are clearly the same franchise.
- Is it a coincidence that the only person who seems to have had an issue with the wording of this section of the NASL page is a non-native English speaker? I see from your reading your talkpage history that this is not the first time the language barrier has created issue for you with other editors. I understand that your intentions are well-meant, but please get a better command of English before you edit anymore English wiki pages. Once again please revert the section to the correct English language meaning. Kind regards -Creativewill (talk) 14:34, 2 June 2014 (UTC)

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. [edit]Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Martin Rennie, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. The fact that you know it's true and that there is a source is immaterial. A source must be provided. Speedy deletion nomination of Football in Paris
[edit]Hello Footwiks,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Football in Paris for deletion, because it's too short to identify the subject of the article.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Nrwairport (talk) 04:52, 16 August 2015 (UTC)

[edit]In future, please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with Football in Paris. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Contest this speedy deletion, which appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. Hi, on Son's page there is a ref error in the honours section, where a 'ref name' (where the same ref is used more than once) seems not to have been correctly formatted. I think this may be one of your edits but am not certain. If so, perhaps you would be able to identify the point in the article where the ref name was originally used and correct appropriately. (I cannot find the original citation). Thanks. Eagleash (talk) 13:41, 28 August 2015 (UTC)

Park Sung-hwa
[edit]Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Park Sung-wha a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Park Sung-hwa. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Dejan Damjanović
[edit]Hello, where did you get stats for Dejan for Beijing? because both Soccerway and National-football-teams (two of the most realible sources) have 45/25 league stats for chinese super league 86.58.36.235 (talk) 11:48, 20 March 2016 (UTC)
- Please refer to CSL offcial stats from http://csldata.sports.sohu.com/ssb.html and Goalscorer section at 2014 Chinese Super League, 2015 Chinese Super League
Don't believe soccerway. Beijing was Round of 16 in 2015 AFC Champions League. But your stats that Dejan played 9 matches. Group Stage - 6 matches and Round of 16 - 2 matches. Dejan can't play 9 matches in 2015 AFC Champions League.
Please believe meFootwiks (talk) 11:58, 20 March 2016 (UTC)
- But he played against bangkok glass in the playoffs, so 1 playoff, 6 group stage, 2 round of 16 = 9 apps 86.58.36.235 (talk) 12:00, 20 March 2016 (UTC)
- OK, I checked out ACL playoff. 9 match is right.
- But he played against bangkok glass in the playoffs, so 1 playoff, 6 group stage, 2 round of 16 = 9 apps 86.58.36.235 (talk) 12:00, 20 March 2016 (UTC)
But From chinese source, Chinese League Stats are accuate as belows
- Dejan 5 Goals in Jiangsu Suning F.C. 2014
- Dejan 10 Goals in Beijing 2014
- Dejan 16 Goals in Beijing 2015
- Is csldata.sports.sohu.com/ssb.html an official website of chinese super league? It looks like some sports news website, not official website run by Chinese Football Association 86.58.36.235 (talk) 12:09, 20 March 2016 (UTC)
- Almost offcial site about Chises Super League Stast. I think more reliable than Soccerway and national football teams.com. Soccerwy and national football teams.com have so many mistakes.

When Dejan come back December 2015, FC Seoul Official news, Dejan stats were 31 goals and 56 matches in CSL. http://www.fcseoul.com/news/news_view.jsp?news_seq=2&news_type=NEWS_LIST&part=News&seq=3453 Footwiks (talk)
Ok I believe you, but Flashscore which have live results reads 14 goals too (probably 5 for jingsu and 9 for beijing), maybe one of his goals was later listed as own goal / someone else's goal, and that chinese site forgot to change it ? 86.58.36.235 (talk) 12:24, 20 March 2016 (UTC)
- Transfermarkt has 10 goals for beijing in 2014 so you are probably right, the match against Zhejian Yiteng on 31 August 2014 is probably a problem, transfermarkt claims that he scored 2 goals in this match, while soccerway claims one goal on that match, i will try to find youtube highlights for that match to see how many times he scored 86.58.36.235 (talk) 13:00, 20 March 2016 (UTC)
- Yup he scored twice in that match YouTube highlists so the stats are correct, soccerway is wrong 86.58.36.235 (talk) 13:03, 20 March 2016 (UTC)
- Good job. If you have a qustion about K League stats and FC Seoul player stats, Feel free to leave a message. I am updating through official source Don't belive soccerway and betting site too much.
I have a question. where are you from? Footwiks (talk)

- I understand serbian so I will try and check, but I think its pretty accurate 86.58.36.235 (talk) 10:42, 21 March 2016 (UTC)
- The stats were here http://www.srbijafudbal.net/zeleznik/otisli/damjanovic_d.htm but the link is dead and there is no archived page, http://www.national-football-teams.com/player/28136/Dejan_Damjanovic.html those stats are probably 99% correct (with exception of one missing beijing goal) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.58.36.235 (talk) 11:01, 21 March 2016 (UTC)

- Why are k-league stats on official website different (LINK), for example 2008 = 33 games/18 goals, while on wikipedia career stats table is 29/15, are those playoff games (semifinal/final), or league cup/KFA cup games inlcuded ? 86.58.36.235 (talk) 11:11, 21 March 2016 (UTC)
- Until 2011, There is a Korean League Cup and League Cup was the part of K League. Because two competions are managed by Korea Professional Football League. So K League Official stats, Regular League stats + League Cup Stats. Dejan in 2008 Season, League 29/15, League Cup 4/0. I can check out Reguar League and League Cup Stats separately. But English Offcial Stats are aggreagted. Since 2012, There is only Regular League and stats are same. Footwiks (talk) 11:26, 21 March 2016 (UTC)

[edit]- I have a one more quesion. Can you find out some information about these players Boro Janičić , Željko Vyjeta. These players played for FC Seoul in 1990s. But We don't have Basic Birthday information. Can you check out throung serbian interent.

1990/1991 SUTJESKA 32 1
1989/1990 SUTJESKA 31 0

I will try to find date of birth, but that will be hard since he is unknown player 11:51, 21 March 2016 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.58.36.235 (talk)
- Željko Vyjeta (??) is probably wrong name, vyjeta is 101% not serbian last name and i cant find anything about him, probably some korean sources translated the name wrongly ? 86.58.36.235 (talk) 11:56, 21 March 2016 (UTC)
- You're right. Name is uncertain. In Korean newspaper, His name was Baijeta Zeliko or Vaijeta Zeliko under the just prononciation. Is it possilbe Vyjeta Željko? is Željko surname?Footwiks (talk) 12:08, 21 March 2016 (UTC)
- No, Željko is first name, im still searching 12:31, 21 March 2016 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.58.36.235 (talk)
- Maybe Željko Simović? He was born in 1967 too, and played in korea in 1994, but for Royals not for Cheetahs 86.58.36.235 (talk) 12:36, 21 March 2016 (UTC)
- K-league profile has "70/07/01" as birthdate for Boro 86.58.36.235 (talk) 12:52, 21 March 2016 (UTC)
- Željko Simović and Željko Vyjeta are different player. I know they are same name Željko and they played 1994 too. I have a fanbook 1994 LG Cheetahs. In Fanbook, Boro's birthday is just 1967. I think that K League Official Site made a mistake. Footwiks (talk) 15:44, 21 March 2016 (UTC)15:41, 21 March 2016 (UTC)
- There is no info about any of those players anywhere, I found only this Link, its 2015 interview with Boro when he saved some kid who was drowing in the river, but it is not mentioned anything else, just that he was former player of Sutjeska, Obilić, Bodućnost and LG, so he probably end his career after 1994 86.58.36.235 (talk) 16:31, 21 March 2016 (UTC)
- I think I found it, Željko Bajčeta, the name Vyjeta and Bajčeta sounds somehow similar, and he played in Cyprus in early 1990s too, I am 95% that this is the player 86.58.36.235 (talk) 20:24, 21 March 2016 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Sangju Sangmu FC, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. If the Gwangju Sangmu FC and Sangju Sangmu FC articles are merged, All honours are listed at Sangju Sangmu FCFootwiks (talk) 11:10, 9 December 2016 (UTC)

Category moves
[edit]Hi Footwiks
I have just reverted a number of undiscussed moves by you of category pages, mostly before any of the pages were recategorised.
Moving a category involves changes to all the articles. So if it is disputed and reverted, many many pages get changed.
It's much better to get consensus first. If the proposed move meets the relevant criteria for a speedy move, you can list it at WP:CFDS. Otherwise it needs a full discusission at WP:CFD. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 09:51, 11 January 2019 (UTC)
- moved from User talk:BrownHairedGirl:
There is a consensus about article title [[7]]
In order to move category, Do I discuss again? --Footwiks (talk) 09:56, 11 January 2019 (UTC)
Please How to move this category?
- Category:Lokomotiv Tashkent players
- Category:FC Lokomotiv Tashkent managers
- Category:FC Lokomotiv Tashkent seasons
Footwiks (talk) 10:04, 11 January 2019 (UTC)
- In that case, WP:C2D applies per Talk:PFC_Lokomotiv_Tashkent#Requested_move_13_December_2018.
- Feel free to list the relevant categories at WP:CFDS.
- But absolutely no more move-warring of categories, as you did before. It is massively disruptive. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 10:04, 11 January 2019 (UTC)
- OK, This is last. But I can't move. Can you move that instead of me?
I confirmed the message: The page could not be moved, for the following reason:
- Category:Lokomotiv Tashkent players => Category:PFC Lokomotiv Tashkent players
- Category:FC Lokomotiv Tashkent managers => Category:PFC Lokomotiv Tashkent managers
- Category:FC Lokomotiv Tashkent seasons => Category:PFC Lokomotiv Tashkent seasons
Footwiks (talk) 10:08, 11 January 2019 (UTC)
- I said NOT to move.
- List the pages at WP:CFDS. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 11:19, 11 January 2019 (UTC)

The article Park Kyung-ho (footballer) has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Boleyn (talk) 20:23, 11 February 2019 (UTC)

Daegu Park
[edit]See sources on K League website match shedule or AFC Champions League official website match schedule and Yonhap News Agency, they are all using Forest Arena. Also its Balaídos not Abanca-Balaídos, Dean Court not Vitality Stadium, Falmer Stadium not American Express Community Stadium, Kirklees Stadium and not John Smith's Stadium, Stadio Friuli not Dacia Arena etc., we dont have to use sponsorship name for the article title. Snowflake91 (talk) 10:49, 25 February 2019 (UTC)
- Please read this article and watch the photos.
In Photo, Stadium have sign which is spelled as DGB Daegu Bank Park strictly. Daegu Forest Arena is not the official name and common name. This is just working name. But In AFC Champions League, They don't use DGB Daegu Bank. Likie UEFA Champions League Because DGB Financial Group is not the AFC Sponsors. So They made a dicision to use Daegu Forest Arena in AFC Champions League. That's all. This is not my opinion.
This is announed at newspaper.[1]
Daegu FC. This is first appearance in AFC Champions League. Just 3 to 7 matches will be placed as name Daegu Forest Arena.
If you want to move, Firstly, move Emirates Stadium => Ashburton Grove or Arsenal Stadium, Allianz Arena => Fußball Arena Münche, Ajinomoto Stadium => Tokyo Stadium
One more. This is not the Kirklees Stadium, Stadio Friuli, City of Manchester Stadium case. These stadiums used as name Stadio Friuli, City of Manchester Stadium long time. In 1990 FIFA World Cup, Stadium name was also Stadio Friuli. They changed Dacia Arena and Etihad Stadium as sponsorship reason recently.
But Daegu Forest Arena is just working name and just will be use only in AFC Champions League some matches. Daegu FC is not the frequent pparticipant in AFC Champions League
Moreover, In South Korea, DGB Daegu Bank Park is definatlly common name.
I hope that you understand what I mean.

The article International A Match has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Article contains no useful information on topic. Only content-containing section refers to a match that predates FIFA, so "A" status without explaination is confusing. If this is a topic to be covered, this stub may as well be WP:DYNAMITEd
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. LukeSurl t c 10:15, 6 June 2019 (UTC)
In Chang-soo moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, In Chang-soo, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Ways to improve Pak Min-gyu
[edit]Hello, Footwiks,
Thanks for creating Pak Min-gyu! I edit here too, under the username SportingFlyer and it's nice to meet you :-)
I wanted to let you know that I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:-
Pak Min-gyu has only made one appearance in a league which passes WP:NFOOTY. I can't read Korean, but there's a chance this will be deleted if it goes to AfD unless other references which discuss him are added to the article.
The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|SportingFlyer}}
. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~

FC Seoul players
[edit]I've updated stats at List of FC Seoul players, but I'm not 100% sure if its correct.
- I removed Song Jin-hyung stats as I cannot find sources for 2003-2007 and the info is probably not correct.
- Is 395 for Go Yo-han correct? It was 368 before this season according to this article, in 2019 he has 35 league + 1 cup game, so it should be 404? But according to namu wiki and stats on Korean wiki FC Seoul players, he has 23 total appearances in FA Cup and 55 apps in ACL as of 2019, so with 305 league games and 10 league cup games, it should be 395 (including 2 apps in promotion-relegation 2018), unless something else is missing.
