Notes

  1. ^ /a/ is relaxed to [ɐ] in unstressed positions and also occasionally in stressed positions (inang bayan [iˈnɐŋ ˈbɐjən]).
  2. ^ /i/ is pronounced [ɪ] in unstressed initial and medial syllables. See Tagalog phonology#Vowels and semivowels.
