National Highway 4 (NH 4), Route from Mumbai to Chennai. It covers a distance of 1,290 km (800 mi). National Highway 4 also known as Pune-Bengaluru road is the major part of Golden Quadrilateral project to connect two capital city of Mumbai to Chennai. NH 4 passes through some of the very populous Indian cities Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru and Chennai. The NH 4 is supplemented by the first expressway of India,the Mumbai-Pune Expressway and triangle of National Highways NH7, NH46. [1]
