Dear Wiki User/Administrator I have found that on one occasion you removed my edit from The Dumping Ground Wiki Page. I now understand you have to have evidence and I've tried to supply you with that in the form of Tweets and a Youtube video. I think this is the way to talk to you because it said "Talk to Me". Blanking warnings

Hi. I saw your comment on WP:AIV. The text of WP:BLANKING says:

The removal of material from a user page is normally taken to mean that the user has read and is aware of its contents.

(This also applies to talkpages). There are specific cases where stuff shouldn't be deleted, but general warnings aren't in the list of cases. However "taken to mean that the user has read" is taken seriously. The fact that someone has vandalised, been warned then deleted the warning(s) doesn't mean they're able to stick their fingers in their ears and go "na na I can't hear you"; admins will note from the page history that warnings have been issued and ignored and will act appropriately. In the case of User:Kingfrogger666's edits they appear to have stopped editing, however I, and probably other admins, will be keeping an eye out to see if they start again. Blocks can be issued without prior warning (especially given that they're taken to have read the warnings…) Keep up the good work! Tonywalton ^Talk 00:50, 19 May 2013 (UTC)

After a revert, these can be placed on the user's talk page to let them know you considered their edit inappropriate, and also direct new users towards the sandbox. deleting a page on 'Jennifer Pisana'

I see that you have tagged my newly created article on actress Jennifer Pisana for speedy deletion citing - 'a very short article lacking sufficient context to identify the subject of the article.' May I inform you that I had just created the article a minute ago and it takes some time to fill it and add further context, hence, appearing "short" to you. Furthermore, if you do a quick google search for Jennifer Pisana, you can see that she has acted in quite a few films. Don't you think she deserves a Wikipedia page, at least tagged as 'to-be-improved' rather than 'deleted'? Sorry to say, but simply tagging articles for deletion without carefully analysing other people's efforts shows poor judgement and carelessness. Stylistica (talk) 09:47, 2 June 2013 (UTC)

No, you're not supposed to do that. CSD deletion is not like PROD deletion. It's best to leave the matter up to an admin.

However, if someone who isn't the article creator decides it doesn't qualify for a CSD deletion, they can take the CSD tags down. ProjectEurovision Newsletter

Hi Davey,

I've noticed that you have made a request to have the ProjectEurovision newsletter to be sent to a specific talk page. I'm not really sure if that is possible, as I use EdwardsBot to send out the newsletters to everyone, and it tends to post them on the talk page of the members listed on the project; and not to a designated user area. Hello! I was wandering around and noticed your "I hate the VE" message. I just wanted to let you know that there are no plans to get rid of the current "Edit source" function (so far). (I doubt they ever will.) They just plan on making the VE the default. Ref: [1]

Regarding {emma fuhrmann that photo is a personal photo and keeps getting deleted. I have sent an email to permissions wiki people w/ copyright info. I don't know what else to do. It's a personal photo taken by a personal camera. Why do you guys think it's not. You won't find this pic on Getty or Wireimage - it's a personal photo. This photo cannot be bought. Hiya, If you've taken it personally then you'll need to prove (which I suppose you have by wp:otrs), If on the other hand you've just saved it from internet then it'll keep getting deleted as it's a copyright violation

I only reverted you as once a image is deleted it's just a link so pointless being left,

Why do you guys think it's not - Commons is a totally different website so you'd need to ask them not me :)

First Glasgow Route List

Afternoon there! Just wanted to clarify the decision to remove the First Glasgow Route List. I reference two articles that contain similar information and whether in this instance whether this has been a fair decision List of bus routes in London, Services of Lothian Buses or whether the decision should have been to make a separate article (First Glasgow routes or Bus routes of Glasgow) rather than removing the information all together.

The list falls under WP:NOTDIR, and It's assumed people will look at operators website not WP, If the list was to be WP:Prosed then It could saved,

Each bus route on List of bus routes in London has its own article due to the historical value, so the list is considered notable, On First Glasgow not 1 route has got its own article so the list altogether isn't notable,

Is there a reason that many of your posts involve merely deleting the work of others rather than working with editors to perhaps improve.

Bus routes are gradually going per WP:NOTDIR as well as not being notable, Some can be prosed, many cant ....

The consensus has been to remove routes See 1 2 3 4 and 5, Plus I'm not the only editor to remove them neither.

Also my contribs range from deleting to improving, Not just removing....

Glasgow Citybus

Noticed you have nominated Glasgow Citybus for deletion on the basis of being not notable. While I am all for getting rid of articles about insignificant 3 bus operators, this is one that once the September sale is confirmed, will be a circa 40 route, 80 bus operation that has made 3 significant acquisitions.

Granted it hasn't had much activity that is encyclopedic, but the same can be levelled at many of the smaller operator bus articles. The only difference between Glasgow Citybus and for example Nu-Venture, is that 90% of the latter is uncited talk on route changes, the encyclopedic value of which is debatable. Take this out and there are a couple of lines.

I know you are into deleting in a big way, each to their own, but can you please think about the bigger picture. What if Glasgow Citybus makes another acquisition and becomes a bigger player, once deleted, its gone.

That's actually a very good point, I've actually wanted to remove some of the route changes there but It's knowing what & what not to delete,

What If GC doesn't make another acquisition?, I'f im honest I think we both maybe agree on the article should go but then again we have articles like Nu-V & others which are barely notable ..... Plus I think you have more faith in GC then me lol,

No dramas, we all get a bit defensive at times, I've certainly been guilty of it. But we both agree there is a fair bit of 'fluff' in some of the articles, I am often in 2 minds as to what to keep and what to kill, see no encyclopedic value in minor timetable changes or immaterial fleet movements.

Sometimes I question the value of an article, but take the view that if it is going to exist it should be as informative as possible. But when an article appears on some 2 bus school operator who started up last week, then out she goes.

Have recently discovered that Marchwood Motorways had an operation in Wales. As this has now been directed to Go South Coast and the reluctance to ceed any ground by the instigator of the merge, probably having to go through the agro of Wikipedia:3O to get demerged, that will be fun. Informative is the key I think, Nothing worse then having lists of every little pointless detail

If i'm honest It should've been kept but me & him have had differences in the past so I tend to keep away (most of the time!), Perhaps 30 is the best option...

I stumbled across the change to Rochester almost by accident (it wasn't on my watchlist before). I happened to be watching Pointless and they had a question about UK cities and I thought "I wonder if Rochester has sorted itself out yet?" Lo and behold someone had made the change just yesterday! Trent Barton main image

Davey, I'm not here for any wiki-politics, just a content question. What were you meaning in your revert summary here to Trent Barton taking out the image of a standard liveried bus and putting back the image of one specially branded for a specific service. You said "Please look at vehicles/liveries before adding them again". I do not understand what this is meaning; I think that the corporate livery is more appropriate for a lead image so as not to make readers think that all the buses are decorated so. It would be like putting a picture of a Magic Bus in the lead of Stagecoach Manchester. I would appreciate it if you would justify your actions and explain why you felt the revert was necessary. Gillingham FC

Is Gillingham FC really appropriate as a "see also" to Rochester and Strood? Clearly the club needs to be mentioned and linked from Gillingham, and possibly from Medway, but it has no more relevance to Strood than Kent Cricket Club or the British Lions. Melbourne route listings

Nice try at reporting for vandalism, although as it was you that originally reverted, unlikely to have stood up. If you feel the tables should be deleted, consensus will need to be gained as WP:NOTDIR doesn’t cover it.

Noticed on Arriva Southern Counties that you thought it ok for a route table to be included, reinstating 8 times in 2 days. So you understand how frustrating it is when some know- it-all comes along and reverses a researched piece of work. And more recently on the same article you have expanded an uncited fleet list, surely this can’t be classified as encyclopaedic?

Obviously since then you have been hoodwinked and decided that all route tables must go, moving into areas where you have previously shown no interest, pissing off numerous editors along the way. User 202.146.15.12 (talk) 08:29, 15 November 2013 (UTC)
