Template:Contains Perso-Arabic text The National Anthem of the Islamic Republic of Iran (Persian: سرود ملی جمهوری اسلامی ایران)[1] was composed by Hassan Riyahi, with words written by Aiadan Maroni. This anthem was adopted in 1990, replacing the anthem used during the time of Ayatollah Khomeini, called "Payandeh Bada Iran".[2]
History
The national anthem of Iran was adopted in the year 1990, replacing the previous national anthem that was used during Ayatollah Khomeini's reign.
