Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) is a governing body of Visakhapatnam city. It has the jurisdiction limit of an area of 540 km2 (210 sq mi).[1] It is also a part of planning body of Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority.[2] The present municipal commissioner of the city is Praveen Kumar.[3]
