Miss Montenegro (Montenegrin: Mis Crne Gore) is an annual national beauty pageant that selects Montenegro's representatives to Miss World and Miss Universe since 2007.

History

Prior to the birth of Miss Montenegro in 2007, Snežana Bušković and Ivana Knežević were handpicked to become the first official international representatives of Montenegro as an independent state, after the union of Serbia and Montenegro came to an end on June 3, 2006. Both Bušković and Knežević were Montenegrin finalists in the last Miss Serbia and Montenegro ever held, won by Serbian Vedrana Grbović in 2006. Bušković would compete in Miss Universe 2007 and Knežević in Miss World 2006.[2]
