Poocher Swamp Game Reserve is a protected area located about 8 kilometres (5.0 mi)* west of Bordertown in South Australia It is located about 240 kilometres (150 mi)* south-east of the Adelaide city centre. It was proclaimed on 14 November 1985 "to provide opportunities for hunting and other recreational activities." The game reserve is classified as an IUCN Category VI protected area.[2][3][4]
