We cover a broad range of subjects within the general field of linguistics, including theoretical linguistics, applied linguistics, etymology, and phonetics. Requests for review

  • Traditional grammar has been completely rewritten. The article is focused on pedagogical grammar traditions, with a history of the tradition, and allusion to a couple of the critiques that linguists tend to make of such systems. Currently rated start class, mid importance, but review is warranted.
  • Conceptual definition This article seems to confuse theories, conceptual definitions, and the colloquial idea that a "theoretical" idea is not based in facts. I am not a linguist and I do not know if a "theoretical definition" is a term in linguistics, but as a scientist a single article on "conceptual definitions" seems more useful.
