  • Paul Pfeiffer – was born in Honolulu, Hawaii in 1966, but spent most of his childhood in the Philippines. Pfeiffer relocated to New York in 1990, where he attended Hunter College and the Whitney Independent Study Program. Pfeiffer is the recipient of numerous awards and fellowships, most notably becoming the inaugural recipient of The Bucksbaum Award given by the Whitney Museum of American Art (2000).[13]
  • Leo Valledor(1936–1989) – Painter who pioneered the Hard-edge painting style.

  • Leandro Aragoncillo – former FBI intelligence analyst and retired Gunnery Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps who was charged with espionage and leaking classified information against President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.
  • Thomas Beatie – Filipino father,[113] female-to-male transgender man who is legally male and married as a male. Beatie had chest reconstruction and testosterone therapy but kept his female reproductive organs intact.[114] He is notable for having had had several pregnancies since becoming physically male.
  • Andrew Cunanan – Filipino American gay alleged spree killer during the mid-1990s; allegedly murdered several of his lovers, including the Italian fashion designer Gianni Versace. Father was a retired United States Navy from the Philippines.
  • Rozita Villanueva Lee – daughter of Eugenio Villanueva, who immigrated from Pangasinan to Hawaii as part of the recruited labor force for the Hawaii plantations, has been described as one of the top ten successful Filipinos abroad.[115] She has served as National Vice Chair of the National Federation of Filipino American Associations and in a number of other prominent positions of responsibility.[116][117] On September 16, 2010, the White House announced her appointment as a member of the President's Advisory Commission on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders.[118]
  • Christina Marie Williams – (1985–1998) murdered child.[119][120]
