AirPower is a trademark for a wireless charging mat by Apple. It was announced on September 12, 2017 at an Apple media event at the Steve Jobs Theater.[1] While it is based on the current Qi standard, it is able to charge an iPhone, an Apple Watch, and AirPods simultaneously.[2][3] Apple claims it is working towards incorporating this ability into the Qi-standard.[4]
