To report an error in content currently or imminently on the Main Page, use the appropriate section below.
- Where is the error? An exact quotation of the text in question helps.
- Offer a correction if possible.
- References are helpful, especially when reporting an obscure factual or grammatical error.
- Time zones. The Main Page runs on Coordinated Universal Time (UTC, currently 08:00 on 19 November 2024) and is not adjusted to your local time zone.
- Can you resolve the problem yourself? If the error lies primarily in the content of an article linked from the Main Page, fix the problem there before reporting it here. Text on the Main Page generally defers to the articles with bolded links. Upcoming content on the Main Page is usually only protected from editing beginning 24 hours before its scheduled appearance. Before that period, you can be bold and fix any issues yourself.
- Do not use {{edit fully-protected}} on this page, which will not get a faster response. It is unnecessary, because this page is not protected, and causes display problems because this is not a talk page. (See the bottom of this revision for an example.)
- No chit-chat. Lengthy discussions should be moved to a suitable location elsewhere, such as the talk page of the relevant article or project.
- Respect other editors. Another user wrote the text you want changed, or reported an issue they see in something you wrote. Everyone's goal should be producing the best Main Page possible. The compressed time frame of the Main Page means sometimes action must be taken before there has been time for everyone to comment. Be civil to fellow users.
- Reports are removed when resolved. Once an error has been addressed or determined not to be an error, or the item has been rotated off the Main Page, the report will be removed from this page. Check the revision history for a record of any discussion or action taken; no archives are kept.

- Double Seven Day scuffle - it would be instructive to include "secret" ahead of police because it took me a couple of attempts to parse this ("the police of a named individual" was odd for me) and also because the article refers to it as such as well. - 2012 Krasnodar Krai floods - blurb says " equivalent of five months' rain fell " but article says "equivalent to three or four months' worth of precipitation in a typical year". The lead says "almost half a year's worth of rainfall". A bit of a mess. Plus, our blurb suggests it rained this much on this day but the article says it took two days for [insert amount here] to fall. - This is a bit of a mess. One dead link, and one link in Russian, mean the only thing I can verify myself (to RT.com...) is the "almost half a year's worth of rainfall in two days". They could still all still be true (3-4 months worth over whole region, rounded up to "half a year' by sloppy RT.com, and 5 months in one day over one part of the region), but you have to take 2 of the 3 refs on faith. I think we recently had a foreign language ref that we took on faith, so leaving for someone else for now. But if there are Russian speakers around, check ref 2, that's what this hook is clearly sourced to. --Floquenbeam (talk) 03:30, 7 July 2020 (UTC)
- Oh well, eight hours on the main page and still no resolution. The obvious thing to do in these cases (to me at least) would be to pull the blurb so we're not providing our millions of readers with conflicting garbage. The Rambling Man (Stay indoors, stay safe!!!!) 08:06, 7 July 2020 (UTC)

- Battle of Carillon - the "order of battle" section is not verifiable using the singular (non-RS?) source provided. Tagged for ref-improve. The Rambling Man (Stay indoors, stay safe!!!!) 08:37, 6 July 2020 (UTC)
- Bayonne Statute - for five years, the lead of this article has said the statute was approved on 6 July. The article does say it was "promulgated" on 8 July with a source, is that the same thing? Either way I guess these inconsistencies need to be addressed by someone with some level of expertise in the subject. The Rambling Man (Stay indoors, stay safe!!!!) 08:42, 6 July 2020 (UTC)
