Miss Norway is the name used to identify Norway's representatives to international beauty pageants.

History

Currently, Norway has two national beauty pageants: Frøken Norge which qualifies the winner to Miss World and the runner-up, also known as Frøken Norge Universe, to Miss Universe; and Miss Norway, where the winner competes in Miss Earth since 2010[1] and the runners-up to Miss International and Miss Europe.

Since 1985, Frøken Norge is a registered trademark in Norway and the supervisor is Geir Hamnes; while Miss Norway was established by Geir Killingland in 1983 and is organized by Norwegian Models headed by Armand Bye.[1] The pageants are televised by broadcaster TVNorge.
