The Academy of Natural Sciences of Philadelphia, America's first natural history museum

There are natural history museums in all 50 of the United States and the District of Columbia. The oldest such museum, the Academy of Natural Sciences in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was founded in 1812.[1]
