Need Help in WP:PBUH

[edit]

Hi bro,

I need your help removing terrorism section from WP:PBUH.

I removed it citing reason why it should be removed but CambridgeBayWeather put it back in.

If you can please go to that page and remove that section by reverting the change done by CambridgeBayWeather.

It will establish a consensus that more than one person think that it should be removed.

I also tried to talk it out with CambridgeBayWeather on his talk page and you can see my post there as well.

Help me brother. Sajjad Altaf (talk) 01:56, 13 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Quaid-i-Azam University, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. Epeefleche (talk) 23:05, 8 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Bahria Town. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Epeefleche (talk) 18:51, 21 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:GwadarMontage.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If you think that your page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Hello Wani! Your work on the Islamabad article is commendable. Thank you for all the improvement you are making there! Just one comment regarding images; don't add too many images especially if they are of similar themes. Also please make sure whatever you are uploading does not have copyright issues before adding them to the article. The recent image you added is tagged for speedy deletion so I am removing it from the article. Cheers Samar Talk 16:55, 6 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Gwadarviewfromjet.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. Hello Wanishahrukh,

It seems to me that an article you worked on, Tasneem Noorani, may be copied from http://topics.onepakistan.com.pk/tasneem-m-noorani/. It's entirely possible that I made a mistake, but I wanted to let you know because Wikipedia is strict about copying from other sites.

It's important that you edit the article and rewrite it in your own words, unless you're absolutely certain nothing in it is copied. If you're not sure how to fix the problem or have any questions, there are people at the help desk who are happy to assist you.

File permission problem with File:Nationalassemblypakistan.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Nationalassemblypakistan.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 12:25, 5 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Coco's Den, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. NawlinWiki (talk) 18:47, 11 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Irfan Group of Companies requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". A tag has been placed on File:ImranKhanSign.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". SMS Talk 00:43, 9 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Unspecified source/license for File:Sharifandmodimeeting.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Sharifandmodimeeting.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by MifterBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. --MifterBot (TalkContribsOwner) 04:26, 28 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Prime Minister of Azad Jammu And Kashmir, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://ajk.gov.pk/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=23&Itemid=7.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. Speedy deletion nomination of Green Valley Hypermarket

[edit]

Hello Wanishahrukh,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Green Valley Hypermarket for deletion, because it seems to be promotional, rather than an encyclopedia article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

License tagging for File:Ayubkhanandbhutto.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Ayubkhanandbhutto.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 21:05, 16 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.  SAMI  talk 01:52, 30 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:MalihaLodhiUN.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:MalihaLodhiUN.jpg.

You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 10:35, 9 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay.
