Glad you told me about these, Wikipedia needs to do a better job of making these rules clear right at the beginning, or somewhere on the edits or something, it could be the reason why wikipedia is losing so many amateur editors. Hewhoamareismyself (talk) 15:23, 8 May 2011 (UTC)

The article Calle Wede has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Non-notable player who fails WP:NFOOTBALL and WP:GNG
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In your speedy of Carrow Abbey here [1], you stated "It's pretty much blank, I can't see any reason why it should stay". however, CSD A7 states: "an article about a real person, individual animal(s), organization (e.g. band, club, company, etc., except schools), or web content that does not indicate why its subject is important or significant"; and this article is neither: a person, animal, organization, or web content. therefore CSD A7 does not apply. in addition, since i found a reference that it is a class I building, it is notable, and no WP:Before was done. please review the Wikipedia:Deletion policy.98.163.75.189 (talk) 19:25, 5 June 2011 (UTC)

wow, greatly to your credit. i am not opposed to speedy, but prefer to see it at obvious spam, vandalism. these stubs are ugly, but a different case. paradoxically, your bringing attention to this article led to its swift improvement. now if we could only keep the momentum going. 98.163.75.189 (talk) 01:38, 6 June 2011 (UTC)
- these geographic and building stubs are different. consensus is wide latitude: we know there must be local history, and sources, the british are above average with pastscape database [2]. what's worse are the indian, afghanistan geo stubs which are going to require local experts to write up. maybe we need a geo wikiproject (although i've seen complaints about too many projects) it isn't the one line, it's the no references, no "assertion" of notability (which is different for geo). the 253,000 without references is worse.Slowking4 (talk) 02:32, 6 June 2011 (UTC)

Can you please give me a suggestion of what I need to change for approval.
My sources are all books with the authors or specific websites.
Also, I'm not sure as to why it said person not notable. Wikipedia lists Shawn Klush who is an Elvis Impersonator and David Lee has valued credentials just like Shawn. Furthermore David Lee has been published in books, voted tops in his field by magazines and fans and has an original song directly related to his profession which can be purchased on itunes.com or amazon.com. This is David Lee's full time career and has been for many years. He is internationally known.
I would greatly appreciate any suggestions you can give me to correct whatever wording or format that I have incorrect on his submission.

Please clarify which part of the submission requires a citation. - Views/Day
- Daily average number of views an article's had over the past 14 days.
- Quality
- Predicted article quality on a 1- to 3-star scale. Placing your cursor over the stars should give you a pop-up describing the article's quality (Low/Medium/High), current assessment class, and predicted assessment class.
The method we use to predict article quality also allows us to assess whether an article might need specific types of work in order to improve its quality. The work needed might not correspond to cleanup tags added to the article, since our method is not based on those. We have added five columns reflecting this work assessment, where a red X indicates improvement is needed. Placing your cursor over an X should give you a pop-up with a short description of the work needed. The five columns seek to answer the following five questions:
- Content
- Is more content needed?
- Headings
- Does this article have an appropriate section structure?
- Images
- Is the number of illustrative images about right?
- Links
