The Ashram Metro Station is a new construction located on the Pink Line of the Delhi Metro.
As part of Phase III of Delhi Metro, Ashram Metro Station was to open for public use from 31st October 2018. Opening of this phase has been delayed for public safety and is undergoing trial tests. Pink Line[1]
The metro station will be opened on Monday 31 Dec 2018 and as per report of Hindustan Times the size of the metro station is just 151.6 metre against an average of 265 metro which make Ashram Metro Station to be the smallest metro station of the world.
Unlike usual two level metro stations, Ashram will have 3 levels. Apart from the Concourse and Platform levels another level called mezzanine floor has been added. Hindustan Times[2]
