I first registered this account - my first - April 20, 2007. Since then, I've gotten involved pretty deeply in AfD work. I see it as a chance to triage articles that are flawed, but may yet have potential. If you need access to a Wikipedia article that has been deleted, ask me. If it's not a copyright violation, libel, or personal information, and has not been deleted as a suspected biographies of living persons violation, I will userfy the article for you. Note that using the text to recreate any deleted article may automatically qualify them for speedy deletion, and copies of previously deleted content that are being used solely for long-term archival purposes may be subject to deletion because Wikipedia is not a free web host. We have a list of alternative sites which may be used to host your content. I maintain a sock account AVPW primarily for use on public networks. In the event of a compromised account, I specifically request any administrator to honor a request from AVPW to block this account, and absolve you in advance of any repercussions. To do list:

Reason: Protection no longer needed over a decade. 49.150.14.10 (talk) 08:14, 20 July 2024 (UTC) Pending protection was imposed literally 8 years ago by acalamari. It seemed to be applicable until February 2023 when disruptive edits arose. The incident resulted in a week-long protection, followed by a 3-month long protection, followed by a 3-day long protection before being resorted to a year long protection. Well, the year long protection recently expired, only to allow the same disruption. Wouldn't that have already defeated the purpose of PC? Why in the world do we have to wait for another year before the decision to reset pending changes is approved?197.2.212.136 (talk) 16:01, 20 July 2024 (UTC)

Autopatrolled[edit]
Hello, I have created 100+ articles, primarily focused on television series. And I plan to keep doing the same. Thanks for your consideration C1K98V (💬 ✒️ 📂) 08:51, 17 June 2024 (UTC)
Hello, may I request an autopatrolled role? While I have created only 15 articles, most of them have have been fully expanded with plenty of sources to support all information in them. I almost entirely cover paleontological taxa such as Diplobune, Dacrytherium, Mixtotherium, and more; I also cover lengthy taxonomic history as shown in the research history of Anoplotherium, research history of Mammut, and the research history of Palaeotherium. Thanks! PrimalMustelid (talk) 20:06, 18 July 2024 (UTC)
Reason for requesting autopatrolled rights Ahola .O (talk) 10:38, 19 July 2024 (UTC) Hello good day, may I request the autopatroller rights? Although I just have 17 articles so far of course one is deleted. I mostly write biographies, movies, and history. These articles are free of problems requiring the attention of patrollers. Thank you.

Page mover[edit]
I have been editing for over 7 years and I plan on using this permission in order to help with discussions on WP:RM and deal with cross-redirects for articles that should have more disambiguated titles. KingSkyLord (talk | contribs) 12:46, 2 July 2024 (UTC)
Hello, my page mover privilege has just expired, after 90 days of what I believe to have been productive use in NPP and AFC. Could it be extended please? Thanks. Wikishovel (talk) 06:20, 15 July 2024 (UTC)
Pending changes reviewer[edit]
I've been a rollbacker for some time now, and when I patrol the recent changes, it's not at all uncommon to come across pending revisions. Thus, I imagine that having the permission of a pending changes reviewer would help me in anti-vandalism activities and, even more, reduce the backlog and the work of other volunteers. Helping directly on Special:PendingChanges is also a possibility, of course. Thank you, RodRabelo7 (talk) 09:42, 16 July 2024 (UTC)
Im requesting pending changes reviewer rights because I wish to review some changes made by inexperienced users, I’ll be fully active and really want to get this right. Madeforall1 (talk) 10:14, 16 July 2024 (UTC)
I'm starting to review pages for copyvios, and, as a result, I'm starting to encounter reviewer-protected pages. (If the article on Rotten Tomatoes wasn't a backwards-copy, I might have been hosed.) In any case, I hope my experience across multiple Wikimedia projects demonstrates the competence needed for this permission. ⸺RandomStaplers 00:07, 17 July 2024 (UTC)
I am well familiar with the Wikipedia Copyright violations, Wikipedia Biographies of living persons and much more of Verifiability to other subject aside humans. My main focus are on the WikiProject Nigeria and little works from other Wikiproject. Reason being so I don't get occupied with other subject am not 100% familiar with their source such as Indian and the rest. Gabriel (talk to me ) 12:21, 17 July 2024 (UTC)
Hello, I am a Wikipedia editor who has an entire month of experience with counter-vandalism, and I also make many copyedits. I would like to stop vandalism in its crib by being a pending changes reviewer and stopping vandalism on pending changes-protected pages. I know what is vandalism and what isn't, and I am familiar with Wikipedia's policies, including Biographies of living persons, Neutral point of view, No original research, Verifiability and What Wikipedia is not. I have read WP:Copyrights and I have read the guideline on reviewing. I am also in process of receiving rollback permissions, and you can see the discussion there too. Thanks, Apollogetticax|talk 04:12, 18 July 2024 (UTC)
Hey there! I'm ThatOneWolf, and, I know I've been here twice before, but those times I admit I didn't really get the whole idea of experience and stuff. Plus, my last request was months ago. I took a little break recently when I just was checking my talk page and watchlist, but now I've come back to editing. Anyway, the reason I'm requesting Reviewer rights now is because I feel like I could help in that area, with most of my edits being vandalism reversions. I also feel I suitably warn editors when I think they are intending to vandalize, or just let them know if it seems they could be trying to help. I've read all the policies listed in Wikipedia:Reviewing pending changes, and am very familiar with the copyright laws. This is why I feel I would be more fit now to receive this right. Thanks for reading! -- ThatOneWolf (ChatEdits 12:18, 18 July 2024 (UTC)
I watch recent changes often for vandalism and problematic edits, and understand the difference between the two when reverting them. I've also reviewed the guidelines on reviewing pending changes. I hope this right can help me more effectively perform anti-vandal work. ADifferentMan (talk) 07:34, 20 July 2024 (UTC)
Rollback[edit]
Hello! I would like to have the rollback permission to revert vandalism quicker and to use tools like Huggle. Also, with Awesome Aasim's RC patrol tool, reverting is very slow, but with rollback it will be much faster. I use Twinkle already. I am keen in the field of anti-vandalism. While my track record isn't exactly the best, I acknowledge my mistakes, and improve on them. I can tell what is and what isn't vandalism, and I know to always warn users, no exception. While edit counts don't matter, I have over 250 mainspace edits (just for the record). This also brings light to my experience. I have been doing counter-vandalism since the day I created my account. If you think I am doing anything wrong, you are free to tell me my mistakes, and I can fix myself. | Apollogetticaxtalk 23:03, 17 July 2024 (UTC)
Hello! I would like to request rollback rights as I've been pretty active in countering vandalism since May. I use Twinkle and I notify new users consistently when I revert, usually by using a warn template, but other times by writing a message myself. I do my best to distinguish between good faith edits and vandalism and avoid unnecessary edit wars. Having made around 20 successful AIV reports, I am interested in making patrolling quicker with Huggle. Thank you! ObserveOwl (chit-chat • my doings) 22:52, 19 July 2024 (UTC)
Hello, at this point I think I’m ready to fight vandalism and make good rollback edits, I really need this tools to be giving me to me, I’m an experienced editor and I think some editors are really not doing justice in terms of there edits, I want to use the tools to revert some edits that shouldn't be Madeforall1 (talk) 11:56, 20 July 2024 (UTC)
Hello! I am applying for the role of rollbacker, having been a Wikipedia user for over 10 years and being increasingly active in the last few years. In this vein, I feel that I have undone my fair share of vandalism and, being mainly focused on football/sports articles, vandalism and unconstructive/unsourced edits are very common in my area of interest and editing. I believe that these rights will be very useful in maximising the efficiency of my work on Wikipedia and will save me time from undoing separate edits individually. Additionally, I have past experience as an administrator on a Wikia project, where I made use of the rollback feature and have good knowledge of its positives and when to utilise it. Thank you for taking your time to review my request. Kind regards, Vasil3fonov (talk) 12:26, 20 July 2024 (UTC)
Template editor[edit]
I'm requesting template editor privileges due to recent changes that classify parts of the Template:Occupation_by_nationality_and_century_category_header as high risk [2]. I developed this template to help manage occupation categories and have become quite familiar with template syntax over the past year, though I do not consider myself an expert. My expertise lies more in R programming, which I teach as part of a data science class. I meet nearly all the requirements for template editor privileges, except for having syntax requests implemented in other high-risk templates. While I have edited templates that have become high risk, I acknowledge that this is not the same. However, I have made a sizable number of technical contributions to RegExTypoFix, primarily in optimizing the regular expression. This is the code underlying the spellchecker used by AWB to implement uncontroversial misspellings. If necessary, I am willing to find and suggest syntax changes to further demonstrate my capabilities. Mason (talk) 03:29, 20 July 2024 (UTC)
