This is a List of shopping malls in the Philippines. The retail industry in the Philippines is an important contributor to the national economy as it accounts for roughly 15% of the Philippines' total Gross National Product (GNP) and 33% of the entire services sector. It employs some 5.25 million people, representing a significant 18% of the Philippines' work force, which means roughly 2 of every ten (10) workers is employed in the retail industry. The Philippine Retailers Association is its association of retailers, mall and shopping center operators.

Robinsons is a brand of JG Summit Holdings, one of the largest holding companies in the Philippines. Robinsons is the second largest retail chain in the Philippines.

Ayala Malls
The Ayala malls are owned and managed by the Ayala Corporation. These malls cater to both upper and lower classes respectively.
The Group's principal activity is building shopping malls and leasing it out to commercial tenants. Its malls are primarily leased out to Ever Department Store, Ever Supermarket, Home Works The Homecenter [1], cinemas, banks, amusement centers, food shops, specialty stores, boutiques, drug store, service shops, and other commercial stores.
Araneta Center is one of the first commercial shopping districts in the Philippines. Most of the malls were erected in the 1970s and 1980s. It is located in Cubao, Quezon City.
Starmall (formerly known as Manuella) is a commercial mall project of the M.B. Villar Group of Companies founded by Senate PresidentManuel Villar Jr. It started as a small commercial complex in Las Piñas known as Manuela Shopping Center in the 1980s.
From low cost mall development, Greenfield revived itself in the 2000s when it redeveloped the Greenfield district in Mandaluyong City offering amenities for the riding public.
Puregold Price Club Inc. is engaged in wholesale and retail. It has now several retail stores across Metro Manila and nearby provinces. The first Puregold Price Club Inc. store located at Shaw Boulevard was established in 1998. With the rise of exclusive membership on affiliation to exclusive supermarket, Puregold opened its door to the buying public without membership requirements. This is the birth of continuous opening of Puregold stores in different parts of Metro Manila and nearby provinces like Pampanga, Laguna, Cavite, Bulacan and Rizal. A department store investor based in Manila, with main anchors Plaza Fair, Fairmart and Fair Square. This is known for products with fair prices affordable for convenience shopping.
Popularly known as the Mall of the South, its retail chain are located in Visayas and Mindanao. Gaisano Malls are actually managed by several groups such as JS Gaisano of Metro Davao, Gaisano Cebu, Gaisano Grand Group and Gaisano Capital Group of Companies.
Another Gaisano group, Metro Gaisano, is co-managed with Ayala Group of Companies and has its department stores in Cebu (Metro Gaisano Colon and Ayala Center), Legaspi (Pacific Mall), Lucena (Pacific Mall Lucena), Taguig (Metro Market! Market!) and Angeles (Marquee Mall).
Rockwell Land Corp. was established in 1995 as a real estate development company, tasked to develop a prime residential and commercial land in Makati City. Rockwell Center was the former site of the Meralco-owned 130 MW Rockwell thermal plant, named after Meralco’s first President, James Chapman Rockwell. It is currently owned by the Lopez Group of Companies.
Riverbanks Development Corporation (RDC) established Riverbanks Center to develop the Marikina Riverside into an urban center, enhanced by the river, preserving the ecology and promoting people’s love for nature.
Liberty Commercial Center (LCC) is the largest retail company in the Bicol Region. It built small- to mid-sized malls in three key cities in the region.

Lee Super Plaza, a mall chain owned by Dumaguete-based Dynamic Development Corporation, is one of the biggest shopping center oparators in Negros Oriental and Zamboanga del Norte. Its biggest shopping mall, towering at 5 levels high with basement area for supermarket and parking, is located in downtown Dumaguete along Perdices Street. Lee Plaza Hypermart in Bagacay, Dumaguete is being developed as an IT zone with the opening of the ePLDT Ventus call center in the area which will host around 800 workstations in two of its buildings. Lee Plaza Central Dipolog is the latest three-level Lee Plaza mall in Dipolog providing people from Zamboanga del Norte convenience in shopping and a wide array of world class goods and food and specialty shops.
New City Commercial Corporation (NCCC) is a Davao City based mall and retail outlet developer with branches in different Metro Davao cities and in Palawan.

Cagayan de Oro City is the shopping capital of the Northern Mindanao region. Residents from nearby provinces visit the city to shop and enjoy the mall facilities, with numerous department stores, supermarkets, retail stores and modern public markets.
Among the biggest malls in the city is Limketkai Center. It was established more than a decade ago. SM Prime Holdings and Robinsons Land Corporation are drawing plans to further expand their mall operations in the city proper.
Shopping Center and Malls
Limketkai Center is the Pride of Cagayan de Oro which covers around 25 hectares making it one of the most expansive commercial complexes in the country. It is located in Barangay Lapasan, near the National Highway. It is the first mall in the city and outside Metro Manila. It is owned by Limketkai Corporation, a local company. It has a supermarket and department store operated by Plaza Fair and Robinsons. There are several boutiques, food outlets and small shops (Tiangge) operating. The Atrium (Entertainment Hall) can accommodate over 3,000 people and has already hosted several local and foreign concerts, conventions, exhibits, and other events. Events held in the Atrium include concerts by local and foreign artists, beauty pageants, including the annual Miss Kagay-an Tourism, local and national conventions.
Divisoria Night Café and Market is set up on Friday and Saturday nights. Locals and visitors gather in the streets of Divisoria to have barbecue and seafood, among many choices, and enjoy the music, beer, and also the great bargains from the nearby Night Market.
Ayala Center Cagayan de Oro[9] is a proposed shopping mall located in Barangay Indahag, Ayala Business Park and it would be the biggest Ayala malls on the island of Mindanao.
Robinsons Cagayan de Oro is located in Limketkai Complex and behind Limketkai Mall. It is right beside Grand Caprice Restaurant and Convention Center.

As the center of commerce in Western Mindanao, the City of Zamboanga are now serving five shopping malls and major campanies expressed their interests to invest the city of Zamboanga. Zamboanga City surrounded of numerous department stores, supermarkets and retail stores. Alta Mall, of Zamboanga City, was the first shopping mall in Zamboanga Peninsula region in the 1980s. It was turned into a barter center after most of the shops are closed. Alta Mall was closed in 1996 and remained vacant at the present time.
Originally owned by Shoppers' Chain of Stores Inc. based in Zamboanga City Business District. In mid-1990s the company was divided into two companies: the Huylian Development Corporation and ACLEM Properties, Inc. after the owner's death.
Shoppers' Mall owned by the Shoppers' Chain of Stores, Inc. (Huylian Development Corporation) located between Ledesma St. and Climaco Avenue, Zamboanga City. The 10-story commercial complex id to be probably the tallest mall in the philippines.
Mindpro Citimall, at present, is Zamboanga City's largest mall. It has 6 cinemas, a department store, and supermarket with a host of several stores and restaurants. It has Zamboanga's first in-mall Jollibee store and first Greenwich store in the region.
Golden Bell Commercial is owned by the Ang family in 1948 in Zamboanga. Each branch in Mindanao has supermarket, appliance center, furniture center and a bookstore.
Peoples' Plaza in Pagadian City is the first major shopping center in Zamboanga del Sur. The recent investor in Pagadian is the Gaisano Capital Group, Gaisano Capital Pagadian is the biggest mall in Zamboanga Peninsula. Best Emporium a dominant retail owner in Zamboanga, has now its own mall in Pagadian, The Best Emporium Megamall it is large as Gaisano Capital.
Currently the local government is constructing a new multi-million shopping mall in Pagadian, with a total budget of 500 million the mall is also utilized as the site of most regional offices in Pagadian, it will be called Pagadian Shopping Mall. It was later changed to C3 (City Commercial Center) after the proposed project, designed by Palafox and Associates, was changed into a new structure locally designed.
The NCCC mall, has highly expressed to the Pagadianon, that they are proposing their first mall in the region. The NCCC management are now having negotiation with the Eton Properties, for they are willing to put-up a mall to the Proposed Hotel Grande to the city itself.
In Zamboanga de Norte, the recent mall operator that has opened its door to the public is the Lee Plaza City Central in the capital city of Dipolog own by Dynamic Development Corporation, a Dumaguete based company. Gaisano is also set to construct a mall in the city within this year and mall operators SM and Robinsons have scouted lands in the city where they proposed to construct their malls soon as these two giant mall operators saw the business potential of the city with its proximity to the cities of Dumaguete, Oroquieta, Ozamiz and Pagadian. [3] Its twin city, the Shrine City of Dapitan is also having its major development in retail industry due to increased in tourists arrival. The Shrine City's prime commercial complex, Gloria de Dapitan is undertaking a major expansion with the sprout of new investments like the under construction Teatro de Dapitan which is proposed to have 2 cinemas, a BPO office, supermarket, Jollibee, Tokyo-Tokyo, Mc Donalds, Chowking, KFC, Figaro Coffee Shop and a lot more with its leasable spaces. New food kiosks were also constructed inside the complex as investors anticipate increase tourists arrival in the complex with the opening of a theme park, Fantasy Land this April.
