Allegra Versace
If you want to, you can take a look at the article about Allegra Versace. That article is this weeks TAFI.--BabbaQ (talk) 22:11, 2 November 2015 (UTC)
- Thank you, I'll certainly try...--Sige |д・) 01:08, 3 November 2015 (UTC)
Is it me...(often is) or should that say 7th century? Eagleash (talk) 02:00, 3 November 2015 (UTC)
- I know it's awkward, but apparently anything I change is controversial when I'm trying to correct to the MOS.--Sige |д・) 02:02, 3 November 2015 (UTC)
- Not sure what you mean by that. 604 is 7th century, not 6th; as 2004 is (was) 21st century. Eagleash (talk) 02:05, 3 November 2015 (UTC)
- Please change it to whatever you want, and add AD if you agree it is needed.--Sige |д・) 02:06, 3 November 2015 (UTC)
- (ec) but the 6th century is referring to his birthdate, not his death date (which is 604). So, yes, 6th century is correct, as he died in the 7th century. And per WP:ERA we do NOT need to put AD there. Ealdgyth - Talk 02:07, 3 November 2015 (UTC)
- Please explain, especially the latter. What is wrong with AD? This is not an article on quantum physics (and even then CE is often loathed by those not seeking to spread the minority). Do you expect, for example, a Hindu immigrant eho recently learned English and has maybe seen one or two Christians in his life to know offhand what era is being explained?--Sige |д・) 02:11, 3 November 2015 (UTC)
- There is no need to use either AD or CE when the date is not ambiguous. See WP:ERA. And we don't italicize quotes (see MOS:NOITALQUOTE). Ealdgyth - Talk 02:14, 3 November 2015 (UTC)
- "ambiguous" is subjective, as a general rule of thumb most laypeople would get confused with pre-Renaissance historical figures. I provided a real-life example even. You are being ignorant of the very diverse ranges of peoples who use the Project. Not everyone knows (or really cares sadly) that Augustine and Plato lived in different times.--Sige |д・) 02:17, 3 November 2015 (UTC)
- Ealdgyth Sorry, wording was not clear to me at this time of night. Done way too many edits today I think... Eagleash (talk) 02:22, 3 November 2015 (UTC)

WP:ERA states "do not use CE or AD unless required to avoid ambiguity (e.g. The Norman Conquest took place in 1066 not 1066 CE nor AD 1066)." This example applies directly to all three pages the user has added AD to. The user continues to disregard MoS policies and respond with edit warring rather than discussion. It has really become quite disruptive. Laszlo Panaflex (talk) 02:38, 3 November 2015 (UTC)
- I have already discussed here and sent you a message on your talk page. Your use of "The user", by the way, is not being WP:CIVIL.--Sige |д・) 02:40, 3 November 2015 (UTC)
- The user is attempting to diffuse the discussion by spreading it my talk page (moved to section below. More disruption, and further disregard of the MoS. - This user, @Laszlo Panaflex: is refusing to see articles of the related nature (e.g. saints' articles) primarily contain AD in toto used at least once in the first date of article for the reason of avoiding ambiguity. See WP:BIAS.--Sige |д・) 02:59, 3 November 2015 (UTC)

WP:ERA
{moved from my talk page here, to consolidate discussion where it began}
If you think you are right, I have a little surprise for you: You have a TON of articles to edit "AD" out of. The burden is on you to explain to the community of the Project why you are misinterpreting WP:ERA so radically. Please read WP:BIAS.--Sige |д・) 02:42, 3 November 2015 (UTC)
- The ambiguity in question in regard to this policy is whether the dates could be confused between AD or BC. When the dates are consecutive, there is no ambiguity. Do not be obtuse. And please keep this discussion on your user page, where it originated, rather than hiding these remarks from other participants here. Laszlo Panaflex (talk) 02:48, 3 November 2015 (UTC)
- I am not being obtuse. You are being obtuse. Not everyone knows what AD or BP or AD or ABC or 123 mean. Not everyone is a Christian or historian. The Early Middle Ages are a topic most laypeople are not familiar with. You are twisting the purpose of WP:ERA; the purpose is to prevent, say, "John Smith was born in 1980 AD". How can you not see this? Look at other articles and WP:BIAS again.--Sige |д・) 02:52, 3 November 2015 (UTC)
- This user, @Laszlo Panaflex: is refusing to see articles of the related nature (e.g. saints' articles) primarily contain AD in toto used at least once in the first date of article for the reason of avoiding ambiguity. See WP:BIAS.--Sige |д・) 02:58, 3 November 2015 (UTC)
- It is not a question of Christianity or knowledge of the middle ages, it is simply counting. If we say someone lived from 486 to 510, it is clear we are talking about the common era by the dates. Failing to see that is indeed obtuse. And if other pages do not properly apply the policy is no reason to misapply it on further pages. At any rate, you clearly do not have consensus for these changes and should self=revert. Laszlo Panaflex (talk) 03:28, 3 November 2015 (UTC)
- "it is clear" To who? You are once again ignorant of WP:NOTBLUE and WP:BIAS. The use of AD is Manual-abiding, thematically and organizationally-consistent, non-intrusive, and overall serves no purpose other than clarification for the lless fortunate. See WP:IAR, especially since AD is only being used, note, ONCE. The use of AD only benefits the Project and provides no harm in any conceivable way. You are being obtuse. Got a problem? YOU need to take it up with the higher-ups. You have nothing to stand on. Now leave two letters alone.--Sige |д・) 03:58, 3 November 2015 (UTC)

Hello, I'm Doniago. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Len Wiseman, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. Lead
I offer the following as a bit of guidance, not to fight with you; I hope you will accept it as such. Please review WP:LEAD. The lead is a summary of the body of an article. "Apart from basic facts, significant information should not appear in the lead if it is not covered in the remainder of the article." Many editors, even many old-timers, make the mistake of developing the lead rather than the body of articles. But this is backward. The body should be developed, then the lead should include a summary. Your edits to Zoe and Irene both included material that is not in the body of the articles. Also, please note that I have edited about 800 articles, mostly in the area of ancient and medieval history. So I'm not following you around; if you edit those pages, they show up on my Watchlist. The same editors show up repeatedly in those areas. It isn't stalking, it is simply sharing common interests. Laszlo Panaflex (talk) 13:55, 12 November 2015 (UTC)
- Thank you for your message. Sorry about the Zoe edit, I had actually already reverted it as it was intended for Irene. I actually wanted to insert the info also in the body but it is very difficult over mobile. This time I'm actually asking for your help lol--Sıgehelmus (Talk) |д=) 14:02, 12 November 2015 (UTC)
Reply:A kitten for you!
Thanks for such a cute kitten! My edition was based on IPA pronunciations from [1] and [2]. The name "CD Projekt" is a blend of English "CD" and Polish "Projekt" (which means simply 'project' in English) and the Polish media read the name of the brand in the way I've written. Sirmann (talk) 16:08, 15 November 2015 (UTC)

I had you in mind because if you really know a series good, and have the passion to make a good article for it then it really would be a big help. Other than that in the meantime what I do here is fix up the A&M articles , ones that have cleanup issues. I will leave your comment open for other editors to reply over at the project talk-page. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 03:17, 20 November 2015 (UTC)

Bot automation at Wikipedia:Today's articles for improvement
Greetings WikiProject TAFI members!
Over the past two weeks, there has been extensive discussion on introducing bot automation to assist with maintenance of the Today's Articles for Improvement project. A bot has now been approved for trial and will carry out the weekly duties. The bots first run will occur around 00:00, 22 November 2015 (UTC) (midnight on Sunday).
If you have been assisting any of the weekly maintenance tasks, please refrain from doing so this week. The bot needs to be tested and proven it can do the job, and it only gets one chance per week. The tasks will include:
- Adding the new scheduled article to Wikipedia talk:Today's articles for improvement and removing the entry from Wikipedia:Articles for improvement
- Set up the schedule pages for the new TAFI, except the adding of an image and caption
- Adding {{TAFI}} to the new article for improvement, remove {{TAFI}} from last week's article and add {{Former TAFI}} to the talk page
- Notify relevant WikiProjects that the new TAFI is within their scope
- Send a mass message to everyone on the notification list of the new TAFI selection
Updating the accomplishments and archiving selections is still done manually, along with daily tasks such as adding approved entries to the articles for improvement page. These will become automated in the near future.
We hope the bot proves to serve well, and by carrying out the routine housekeeping tasks we can boost the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the project. MusikBot thanks you for your service in helping with the weekly tasks in the past, and for your cooperation during this trial period :)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Ex opere operato
You added to Ex opere operato tags {{multiple issues|{{cleanup-reorganize|date=December 2015}}{{copy edit|date=December 2015}}{{lead missing|date=December 2015}}{{refimprove|date=September 2014}}}}. As a member of the Guild of Copyeditors, I am trying to work on this article, and I added some headings, but I have questions for you.
- What is needed for cleanup?
- Is any reorganiation needed?
- Is the first paragraph satisfactory as a lede?
I agree that copyediting and more inline citations are needed.--DThomsen8 (talk) 22:54, 15 January 2016 (UTC)
- Hello and thank you for your work so far! I can't answer in full right now but I will say that it seems like there isn't much cohesion of focus or tone in the article, hard to explain and perhaps I misplaced the template. I think the lede could use more of a background summary in its primary use as a Christian motto. Well, it's all up to you, I am no expert.--Sıgehelmus (Talk) |д=) 05:36, 16 January 2016 (UTC)

Hello, I'm Checkingfax. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Allegra Versace has been undone because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. What is with all the ((( and ))) around wikilinked terms? And, why change the IPA? {{u|Checkingfax}} {Talk}
18:42, 26 January 2016 (UTC)
- Huh? I don't know what the former is referring to, but I changed the IPA because the first mark was an apostrophe and not a stress mark, and I changed the e to a reverse epsilon admittedly not from reference but looking at the Italian IPA help article.--Sıgehelmus (Talk) |д=) 19:10, 26 January 2016 (UTC)
- EDIT - Ohh, I know now what you're talkling about. I am not sure why that happened, it must have been a glitch in my new browser.--Sıgehelmus (Talk) |д=) 19:13, 26 January 2016 (UTC)

Pronunciation of Kuczynski
I noticed that the pronunciation of Kuczynski was given as [kukˈʃiŋski]. This looked highly unlikely (/ʃ/ is not a phoneme on its own in Spanish, and [ŋ] does not normally correspond to 'n' before 's'), so I confirmed from numerous videos that the correct pronunciation was [kuˈtʃinski]; see [3], [4], [5] for instance. Please let me know if you have a source for the pronunciation you put originally. --Iceager (talk) 16:45, 19 June 2016 (UTC)

Use of the copy edit tag
Hi Sigehelmus! Thank you for your work on articles on medieval Europe. I've noticed that you frequently add a copy editing-needed tag to these articles. I am one of the coordinators of the Guild of Copy Editors, the Wikiproject that works to improve articles that are tagged for copy editing. While there are often edits that can be made to improve the pages you tag, the same is true of the vast majority of pages on Wikipedia. The tag is intended to identify the most urgent cases, while the articles on medieval Europe are often in decent condition. For example, while Wulfram of Sens could be improved, it is in vastly better shape than, say, Uzbekistan and Oriental Music or Directorate of Technical Education,Mumbai. We do have a separate system for moderately well-written articles that an editor wishes to be further polished, our requests page. I would suggest that many of the articles you are tagging would be better suited for that page, where they can be polished by our best and most experienced members. Le me know if you have any questions about using the requests page. Thanks, Tdslk (talk) 17:12, 18 September 2016 (UTC)
September 2016
Your recent editing history at The Talmud Unmasked shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Revisions to article on Thomas Muntzer
MurdoMondane (talk) 13:59, 5 October 2016 (UTC) As primary author of the revised article on Thomas Muntzer, as should be evident from the article's history and talk pages, I am a little surprised that you did not have the courtesy to contact me before your recent changes and plastering the article with sundry "multiple issues" stickers.
I have no great objection to you tidying up the syntax for (eg) subtitles and putting the explanation of the main image into a footnote. But I do have the following objections, and I propose to revert them within the next few days unless you can persuade me otherwise:
1. why have you decided to change my "present-day" locations of his birth/death-place to other locations? Changing the birthplace from "present day Saxony-Anhalt" to a geographically vague "Electorate of Saxony" does not help modern-day readers. And changing the place of death from "present-day Thuringia" to a completely erroneous "Landgraviate of Hesse" is less than helpful: Muhlhausen was never in Hesse, and was in fact a Free Imperial City.
2. adding the words "...for his crimes" to the statement that he was executed, is entirely a subjective - and arguably hostile - opinion. Obviously, he would not be executed for anything other than a "crime" in the eyes of his accusers - but in this case the crime was to fight for a religious viewpoint - adding the pejorative 'crime' word here suggests that he was morally culpable. Would you, for example, say that (eg) Dietrich Bonhoeffer or Jan Hus were "executed for their crimes" - or were they simply executed? In any event, Muntzer was never subjected to a formal trial, he was simply captured and tortured, then killed.
3. I have no major objection to you adding the word 'radical' to a description of him as a preacher; but I deliberately left that adjective out since, in the early German Reformation, it was never very clear who was a radical and who was not - in some eyes, Luther was a radical of the first water.
4. I am not sure why you have changed "established [Catholic church]" to "dominant...". By 1525, the Catholic Church was scarcely dominant in the regions in which Muntzer was active. It was, however, the long-established one.
Finally, I rather resent the big sticker which suggest the article requires correction to "grammar, style, cohesion, tone, or spelling". If you can point out to me instances of these , please do so: but I have failed to find any such thing. And I suggest you indicate to me just what is wrong with my citations and references since, again, I can see no specific problems - until, that is, last night: when I left my edit at 18:41 on 4 October, the list of seven books immediately below the numbered citations was intact. By the time you had finished two hours later, that entire list of books had vanished from sight (it is still there, but now hidden). If this elision was deliberate, please tell me why; if it was accidental, let me know and I will revert it with care.
I trust you will respond to my concerns. I have spent a lot of time preparing the revised article - and this is founded on 40 years of study of Thomas Muntzer. I can hold my hands up to not applying rigorous Wiki formatting; but I do not much appreciate the introduction of misinformation.
- Please calm down and read WP:OWN. I'm not sure what exactly you're asking...--Sıgehelmus (Talk) |д=) 21:29, 7 October 2016 (UTC)
MurdoMondane (talk) 14:10, 8 October 2016 (UTC)
In amongst my - admittedly self-righteous - complaints, I think my important questions are as follows:
1. Why have you changed "present-day" geographical locations to meaningless and - in the second case - wrong alternatives?
2. Why have you decided to add "for his crimes", when Muntzer was never judicially tried for any crime? I would put the case that your three additional words do not represent a "Neutral Point of View", as per WP:NPOV...?
3. Why have you hidden my list of books cited as footnote-references? That concealment makes the footnotes a complete nonsense. I will be quite happy to convert the footnotes so that each one contains the full bibliographical details, if that is what is required for Wikipedia's standards. But please let me do it.
4. By using the "multiple issues" sticker, what else are you specifically wishing to have corrected?
I am aware of WP:OWN. But WP:OWN policy surely does not suggest that someone without knowledge of a subject should have carte blanche to change established facts speculatively or erroneously. Nor does it expect that critical information created by others should be unilaterally hidden from view. I would have corrected your corrections myself before now, but am fully aware of the dangers of an edit-war. My point about 40 years of study was to establish the fact that I am indeed an 'expert in the field' as defined by WP:OWN.
I await your replies to my four questions, so that we can proceed with some measure of agreement.
MurdoMondane (talk) 08:28, 9 October 2016 (UTC)
Please note that I have now provided full bibliographical details for every numbered footnote. I hope this addresses your concerns on 'citations', and that it may incline you to remove the "multiple issues" note? I have not (yet) undone your other edits - points 1 and 2 above - as I await your comments on these.
Hi there, I'm not sure why you added a French pronunciation to Saskatchewan. Thanks. Magnolia677 (talk) 20:58, 7 October 2016 (UTC)
- There are French pronunciations for all Canadian provinces. French is an official language of Canada by various royal Acts, this is also implicit in all Provinces. I see no reason not to keep it.--Sıgehelmus (Talk) |д=) 21:28, 7 October 2016 (UTC)
- Do you know if this is Wikipedia policy? I'm not being confrontational, I'm just wondering if translations into all official languages is done on foreign articles. Most of my edits are to US locations. Thanks. Magnolia677 (talk) 21:35, 7 October 2016 (UTC)
- Yeah, it's usually custom to provide translations for all official/traditional languages of the subject article. I'm not sure if it's solid policy, but I've done it for a couple years and no one's had a problem except when it's not relevant. If I provided a German pronunciation for instance, that would be unneeded because German isn't used in Canada officially. It's just something interesting that adds a cohesive educational element to the article that I like adding. Thank you for asking!--Sıgehelmus (Talk) |д=) 21:38, 7 October 2016 (UTC)
- I looked it up and in fact English is the only official language in three provinces: Alberta, Manitoba and Saskatchewan (see [6]). I'm going to delete the translation and leave a message on the talk pages there. Should be a lively discussion! Thanks. Magnolia677 (talk) 22:19, 7 October 2016 (UTC)

Thomas Muntzer article (continued)
MurdoMondane (talk) 09:35, 12 October 2016 (UTC)
Since I posted my last questions to you on 9th, you appear to have found the time to edit a further 23 articles, but not the time to address my questions. I must therefore assume that you have no further comments to make, and do not wish to engage in an edit-war. So I will now revert your edits indicated by Points and 2 in my previous talk-section. Should you wish to debate this, please engage in a ‘talk’, rather than undertaking any further edits.
I would also remind you of the comment made to you by our colleague “Tdslk” on 15th September, on the matter of plastering Wikipedia with “copy/edit” tags. Not only is the overuse of such tags misleading, as our colleague has indicated, it is also frankly insulting to other contributors who - for many of the articles in which you seem interested - are likely to be educated and careful writers.
I note that you have - with much humour - annotated your edit of 4th October with the words “Various fixes to syntax, grammar, templates, etc. Although much work still needs to be done”; unfortunately, the audit-trail indicates only that you managed to add some unwelcome words, change a pair of commas to a pair of hyphens - oh, and introduce a spurious blank space between the “E” and “a” of the word “Early”; and then lose a complete list of cited works.
I have no problem in admitting that my citation-style was due for improvement; this has now been done. If you had simply stated this to me at the outset, then much trouble and complaint could have been avoided. Please be more respectful of others.

Julius Evola
OK, what did I walk into here? I read about the guy, go to Wikipedia, find an article that whitewashes Evola (even based on what little I know), then get attacked by two reputable editors! I have looked into Evola and the entire article is filled with distortions, many contradicted by the articles cited! How do we proceed here? Oh and sorry if I came on too strong - really. I have done good work in the past I'm proud of here. I don't always start out at high wiki standards, but I have learned and I will dedicate the time to good journalism. I have a point of view but I do not want distortions. This is why I often go to original sources. I feel that with some work, we here at Wikipedia can do better journalism than most journalists. The beating was connected to BLM? [7] I don't see this anywhere in the source used, could you provide an updated source that has this info? - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 15:03, 5 January 2017 (UTC)
- Look at the #BLMKidnapping tag on Twitter. There is a plethora of evidence that it was linked to that movement. At the very least, the race is an important factor to mention in context because you know if the races were reversed that would cause riots all over USA.--Sıgehelmus (Talk) |д=) 15:16, 5 January 2017 (UTC)
- This isn't about personal opinion, if it is sourced then okay mention it as a notable factor. If not then I really don't see the need for it as the description sums up the overall context, the reader can follow the source and judge for themselves. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 15:22, 5 January 2017 (UTC)
- It's not about judgement or opinion, please don't be like that. If you find the mention of race contentious, ironically that is your opinion. The race of these assailants who assaulted, gagged, and tormented a disabled white man to say "fuck white people" and "Fuck Trump" -- and they were all black -- to say race isn't important...? Come on man. See WP:SPADE and WP:CENSOR, reality is reality. Any offense either of us take is inconsequential and frankly an insult to the victim.--Sıgehelmus (Talk) |д=) 15:25, 5 January 2017 (UTC)

Hello, I'm Darkson. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Cat have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think a mistake was made, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Please don't vandalise the Cat article to push your POV. The article say "Middle East countries", which Isreal is and Palistine isn't regardless of whether you or I think it should be).

Charlemagne
Hi, I noticed that you changed the description of the denarius featuring Charlemagne to having a "posthumous profile." The description notes that the coin is dated circa 312-314. Charlemagne died in 314 but I guess I don't see where the denarius was definitively produced following Charlemagne's death so describing the profile as posthumous seems odd.Yojimbo1941 (talk) 18:00, 31 March 2017 (UTC)

Unsourced assertions
You have raised objections to the use of the term "German nationalism" that are not based on reliable sources interpreted via the policies and guidelines here, here, here, and here.
The last three diffs in particular assert that "German nationalism" means only only a call for territorial expansion, and you make this unsupported by any source, and that claim is contradicted by all the reliable sources cited in the German nationalism article.
Please be aware that repeatedly making claims as you have is WP:DISRUPTIVE and that the community topic bans people who edit this way. Jytdog (talk) 18:02, 7 May 2017 (UTC)
- Your comment here is not about improving the article; it doesn't belong on an article Talk page per WP:TPG. I am telling you what happens in Wikipedia, not "threatening" you. You can hear that, or not. See you at the talk page. Jytdog (talk) 21:22, 7 May 2017 (UTC)

Ways to improve De conviviis barbaris
Hi, I'm Mduvekot. Sigehelmus, thanks for creating De conviviis barbaris!
I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. This article needs more references to substantial coverage in independent, reliable sources.
The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

Hello. As you might know or not, Maduro was just designed as a Dictator by U.S. Government (he already was but nobody seem to notice it( and sanctions were imposed. I am kindly asking you to revert the change you did. http://news.sky.com/story/us-imposes-sanctions-on-dictator-maduro-10969265 --Ssthormess (talk) 21:31, 31 July 2017 (UTC)
- Please read WP:RS and WP:NPOV thoroughly. This site relies upon (or at least aims to rely upon) unbiased and reliable, balanced sources. One designation is not enough, and you did not even provide a citation. That is also not his title. Example: Many Americans would call King George III a 'tyrant' but do you see that as his official title in his page? The infobox is for official titles only. Please read the articles I named firstly before.--Sıgehelmus (Talk) |д=) 21:42, 31 July 2017 (UTC)

Hi Sigehelmus. Thanks for your addition at Gwynllyw. But I now see that none of those three denominations listed in the infobox are currently supported by the article text. I guess it's obvious that the name of the Newport Cathedral suggests veneration by the Anglican Church. But I wondered if we could find actual sources for all three. Do you know if Gwynllyw hs a Saint's Day in the calendars of each? Thanks. Martinevans123 (talk) 19:52, 7 August 2017 (UTC)
- I am not immediately familiar with the hagiography of the Anglican Churches, my main contributions to saints' articles thus far have concerned with pre-Schism Catholic saints (in almost all cases) being eo ipso Orthodox saints. I have seen icons of Gwnyllyw but I will try to find sources though for all 3 denominations. Thanks for the message--Sıgehelmus (Talk) |д=) 20:12, 7 August 2017 (UTC)
- Many thanks for the clarification. I'll try too. Martinevans123 (talk) 20:17, 7 August 2017 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of scientists opposing the mainstream scientific assessment of global warming, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Per se (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Hello, from the Portals WikiProject...
The Portals WikiProject was rebooted 9 days ago, and is going strong. Fifty-two editors have joined so far, with more joining daily.
Our goal is to revitalize the entire portal system, and most every portal in it. (We've already speedy deleted some as part of the clean up effort - they were empty husks).
So far, we've created a template with supporting Lua module to transclude excerpts of the current version of an article, to use instead of copy and paste. Excerpts using the template never go stale or fork.
There are 1500+ portals, so we will need all the help we can get!
There are sections on the WikiProject page dedicated to tasks (including WikiGnome tasks too), and areas on the talk page for discussing the improvement and automation of the various features of portals.
On the WikiProject page, there's a watchlist of all the pages in the portal namespace, for viewing Related changes.
With more to come.
You are invited to join, and participate in the effort to revitalize and improve the Portal system and all the portals in it.
We may even surprise ourselves and exceed all expectations. Who knows what we will be able to accomplish in what may become the biggest Wikicollaboration in years.
See ya at the WikiProject!
Sincerely, — The Transhumanist 02:45, 27 April 2018 (UTC)

Thank you very much
The RfC discussion to eliminate portals was closed May 12, with the statement "There exists a strong consensus against deleting or even deprecating portals at this time." This was made possible because you and others came to the rescue. Thank you for speaking up.
By the way, the current issue of the Signpost features an article with interviews about the RfC and the Portals WikiProject.
I'd also like to let you know that the Portals WikiProject is working hard to make sure your support of portals was not in vain. Toward that end, we have been working diligently to innovate portals, while building, updating, upgrading, and maintaining them. The project has grown to 80 members so far, and has become a beehive of activity.
Our two main goals at this time are to automate portals (in terms of refreshing, rotating, and selecting content), and to develop a one-page model in order to make obsolete and eliminate most of the 150,000 subpages from the portal namespace by migrating their functions to the portal base pages, using technologies such as selective transclusion. Please feel free to join in on any of the many threads of development at the WikiProject's talk page, or just stop by to see how we are doing. If you have any questions about portals or portal development, that is the best place to ask them.
If you would like to keep abreast of developments on portals, keep in mind that the project's members receive updates on their talk pages. The updates are also posted here, for your convenience.
Again, we can't thank you enough for your support of portals, and we hope to make you proud of your decision. Sincerely, — The Transhumanist 23:20, 25 May 2018 (UTC)
P.S.: if you reply to this message, please {{ping}} me. Thank you. -TT

Sick of minimal design? I can relate to you!
I can totally relate to your emotions about this omnipresent minimal flat design fetishism that spread around the world. Maybe because I have asperger's syndrome. I like the letters in the new Wikipedia padlocks, but this flat design which looks like animations from Kurzgesagt Nutshell, are heavily overrated and have no depth at all. Finally somebody to relate to. I thought I was alone. --79.241.206.3 (talk) 02:21, 16 November 2018 (UTC)
- Wow, same here friend! :D I didn't expect that at all and indeed I share your situation and condition. I even have have a distate for Kurzgesagt, especially too since I know some of their biases. Maybe nostalgia plays a role for me too, but the current minimalist trends are just sickening to me and tell a lot about our age, in my analysis. I miss serifs and edges and shading and other aspects that almost give an essence of "craftsmanship", if that makes sense. Anyway, I definitely hope the
locks get updated again to something better one day, and if it is any consolation, no movement lasts forever. Here's hoping the successor isn't worse though, haha. When I design something, I make sure to keep the good old aesthetic to it. I also the notice the Japanese reject the trend too by the way, so it must be a western phenomenon and sign of general decay,...anyway, thank you for for the kind message, please do consider signing up as well!--Sıgehelmus (Tωlk) 03:00, 16 November 2018 (UTC)
