Gergitha

Gergitha (Template:Lang-grc) or Gergetha (Template:Lang-grc), also known as Gergina (Template:Lang-grc)[1] and Gergithus, Gergithium or Gergithion, was a town in ancient Lydia, near Stratonicea, at the sources of the Caicus River,[2] said to have been peopled by the inhabitants of Gergis in the Troad by King Attalus of Pergamus.[3]
Cephalon (Template:Lang-grc) of Gergitha, was an ancient writer.[4]
Its site is tentatively located near Yirca, Asiatic Turkey.[5][6]
