Perperene[pronunciation?] (Greek, Περπερηνιων) is an ancient city in Kozak plateau which is near Bergama in Izmir province of Turkey in western Anatolia.

According to the Souda, Hellanicus of Lesbos who was born in Mytilene on Lesbos lived in 5th century BC and died aged 85 at Perperene.
