Korukkupet

Korukkupet is a neighbourhood in the northern part of Chennai. It is served by the Korukkupet railway station.
Location
Korukkupet shares its boundaries with other areas of Chennai, including Mint, Basin Bridge—about 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) south—and Tondiarpet. Its Pincode is 600021.rto-code-TN-04
Infrastructure
As of 2010, a flyover is under construction at the Cocraine Basin Road level crossing which is expected to ease congestion in the area; however, it has been delayed.[1]
The area is located around 2 km distance from Washermanpet Metro Railway Station(which is the starting point of metro rail) which is expected to be opened by mid 2015.
Now the Construction is completed and it is ready to use
