Revision as of 01:19, 15 June 2017

Following the victory of the Bharatiya Janata Party in the 2014 Indian general election, the Modi ministry was established under the prime ministership of Narendra Modi. Since the government was formed, it has presented several campaigns and initiatives which aim to advance the country socially and economically. Political parties such as the Indian National Congress [1], and BJP ally and member of the Modi Ministry, Shiv Sena [2] have accused the ruling party of merely re-branding existing schemes initiated by previous governments.[3]

This is a list of programs run by the previous administrations (Government of India) which have been argued by several publications [4] [5] [6] [7] [8] as being renamed by the NDA Government. In many cases, the programs have been restructured and revamped, and not simply renamed.
