Disney Channel Asia, a franchise of Disney Channel under the coordination US make, under the coordination of Walt Disney Television International (Southeast Asia) coordination of American, airs in most parts of Southeast Asia, though some countries with their own Disney Channel networks, lack of capacity or government prohibitions or restrictions do not carry the network.

Programming
Disney Channel Asia airs a variety of shows, aimed particularly at elementary family children. Most of the programming is similar to the American and Canadian counterpart with some shows exclusive to the Asian version such as Upin and Ipin, BoBoiBoy, Mr. Bean and Zig and Sharko, four of them originally created in Malaysia, American and France. Some new live action sitcoms Waktu Rehat and Mr. Bean air earlier in while releasing them later for the rest of Southeast Asia. Disney Channel Asia often holds promos that offer prizes to promote shows or movies.

From December 10, 2014, Disney announced that an Disney Family Movies, family movies channel teen under all ages 8 year-old friends school elementary, under the coordination of Disney Family Movies American under the coordination by Disney-ABC Domestic Television (DADT) (under the by The Walt Disney Company American) coordination make, launched broadcasting at Asia an Disney Family Movies.
Malaysia
In 2012 to 2013, Disney announced that Disney Family Movies, Disney Family Movies-branded for viewers in Malaysia and Brunei was launched at Malaysia coordination broadcasting. Disney Family Movies will be launched in Malaysia on Astro on channel 600 in Standard Definition in Brunei on Kristal-Astro on channel 600 in SD.
Phillipines
Disney announced that Disney Family Movies was launched broadcasting at Philippines coordination by Disney Family Movies US, a block family elementary children as Disney Channel Philippines. Disney Family Movies broadcasting locations by Philippines availability broadcasting on Cignal Digital TV (Channel 17), Dream Satellite TV, SkyCable (Channel 14), Destiny Cable (Channel 50), Mountain View Satellite Corporation (MVSC) (Philippines) (Channel 53), Cablelink Channel 8, ultiNet Television Cabantuan (Channel 46), Parasat Cable TV (Philippines) (Channel 38), BOHL COMMUNITY CABLE TV (Channel 17) and Maharlika Cable Systems, Inc., San Juan, Batangas (Channel 47). Disney Family Movies is a subscrpition video on demand services as "Magic Plays Here" is the continued open with 2 comedy fun novelty at American is films and shorts of premium by Walt Disney Pictures and List of Walt Disney Pictures films, Open again with 8 locations broadcasting at American.
Censorship
Some programming is edited due to local mores and to be acceptable to various audiences such as Muslims and other local cultures, with romantic plotlines and violence removed, along with some suggestive dialogue, along with the usual removals of profanity. Other local feeds such as the one in the Philippines may have more liberal censorship policies.
Sister channels
Playhouse Disney
Playhouse Disney, formerly a time block, is a channel airing shows geared at preschoolers. It is currently being aired in Brunei, Philippines, Malaysia, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Cambodia, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore and South Korea.
Disney Junior
In 2011, Disney announced that Playhouse Disney would be replaced by a new channel, Disney Junior. Playhouse Disney ceased broadcast on July 11, 2011 and was replaced with Disney Junior.
Disney XD
In September 15, 2012, Disney announced that Disney XD will be launched in Malaysia on Astro (Malaysian satellite television) on channel 617 in Standard Definition and channel 637 in High Definition and in Brunei on Kristal-Astro on channel 617 in SD.
