London Buses route 228 is a Transport for London contracted bus route in London, England. Running between Central Middlesex Hospital and Maida Hill, it is operated by Metroline.

History[edit]

Route 228 commenced operating on 17 January 2009 between Central Middlesex Hospital and Maida Hill from First London's Willesden Junction garage.[1]

On 22 June 2013, route 228 was included in the sale of First London's Willesden Junction garage to Metroline.[2][3]

Upon being re-tendered, the route was retained by Metroline with a new contract commencing on 18 January 2014.[1][4]
