2007 (MMVII) is the current year, a common year starting on Monday of the Gregorian calendar and the Anno Domini (common) era. It is the 7th year in the 21st century and in the 3rd millennium, both of which began on January 1, 2001.

As opposed to years in the 20th century and previous, there is no generally accepted way to pronounce 2007. Though the year is usually pronounced as "two thousand (and) seven", some prefer "twenty oh-seven", as per the convention for 1907.

The year 2007 has been designated:

UNESCO has formally recognized fifteen anniversaries for 2007.[5]
