Southwest Calgary is one of four quadrants in Calgary, Alberta. It contains 75 of Calgary's neighbourhoods. The majority of downtown Calgary is in this quadrant.

Generally speaking, Southwest Calgary is bordered by Macleod Trail or the CRP tracks on the east and the Bow River or 16 ave on the north. the x on the east and the x on the south. Within downtown are x city neighbourhoods. They are, the x.

The combined population of the 75 neighbourhoods was 297317 in 2006.[3]

Calgary Transit's C-Train light rail system runs down Macleod Trail S. through the x.


Demographics

In 2008, x Calgary had a resident population of x.[2] Residents in this community had a median household income of $x in 2005 with x% of the population reported as low income residents.[2] As of 2006, x% of the residents were immigrants. A proportion of x% of the buildings were condominiums or apartments, and x% of the housing was used for renting.
