This is a list of notable Indian Americans, including both original immigrants who obtained American citizenship and their American descendants. It also includes those who excelled in their career while residing in U.S., but did not apply for American citizenship (ex. Raghuram Rajan [1]). Note that unlike many countries, India does not allow dual citizenship.[2]
