UFC 103 is an upcoming mixed martial arts PPV-event to be held by the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) on September 19, 2009 in Dallas, Texas at the American Airlines Center.[1] The event is scheduled for the same night as the boxing match between Floyd Mayweather, Jr. and Juan Manuel Marquez, which also airs on PPV.
Background
It was announced on July 20, 2009 that Rich Franklin will headline UFC 103 against Dan Henderson.[2]
Mike Swick will face Martin Kampmann on the main card to determine the number one contender for the Welterweight Championship currently held by Georges St-Pierre.[3]

A previously announced bout featuring Steve Steinbeiss[4] has been moved to UFC Fight Night: Diaz vs. Guillard.[5]
A previously announced bout featuring Aaron Simpson[4] has been moved to UFC Fight Night: Diaz vs. Guillard.[6]
An injury has forced Matt Wiman out of a bout with Rafael dos Anjos.[7] Rob Emerson will be filling in.[8]
