UFC 123 is an upcoming mixed martial arts event to be held by the Ultimate Fighting Championship. While not officially announced by the organization, it is expected to take place on November 20, 2010. The location and venue of this event are currently unknown.[1]

Background

Vitor Belfort is expected to challenge for the UFC Middleweight Championship in November, possibly this event, against the winner of the Anderson Silva vs. Chael Sonnen bout at UFC 117.[2][3]

A bout between former Light Heavyweight Champions Lyoto Machida and Quinton Jackson is expected to be a part of this event. The fight was confirmed by the UFC on July 29th.[1]

Forrest Griffin is expected to make his return at this card stating that he does not want to compete outside of the United States and will look to come back in November. Griffin could see his next bout against Rich Franklin.[4]

Goran Reljic is expected to return to the light heavyweight division at this event.[5]

Dana White confirmed that it will take place in Saint Louis, Missouri. [6]
