Citizens from  Bhutan and  Nepal are granted visa-free status to India, and may stay without a limited period. Citizens from the following countries require a visa to India but do not have to pay a visa fee.

Costs for visa applications

Visa applications must be submitted in person to the Indian Consulate.[1] Costs differ per Consulate and region. Visa Handling Services charge a small amount on top of this fee; however, they normally check the completed application form meets all requirements and submit the documents on the applicant's behalf.
