Also known as UFC on Fuel TV 1, this was the first UFC event to air exclusively on Fuel TV. It was held on February 15, 2012 at the Omaha Civic Auditorium in Omaha, Nebraska.[3] More than 7000 people were in attendance[4] The event was the most watched show ever aired on Fuel TV with 217,000 viewers tuning in.[5]
The main event consisted of Diego Sanchez facing Jake Ellenberger. Ellenberger came into the match on a five fight win streak, four of which ended by stoppage, including one against Jake Shields. The fight against Ellenberger would become Sanchez's eighteenth fight with the UFC going back to April 2005 when he won The Ultimate Fighter 1.[6] Ellenberger continued his win streak defeating Sanchez by unanimous decision.
The fight between Sanchez and Ellenberger earned them fight of the night honors. Stipe Miocic earned the knock out of the night following a knock out win over Phil De Fries. The submission of the night went to Ivan Menjivar who finished John Albert at 3:45 of the first round with a rear naked choke.[7]

UFC on Fuel TV 2, also known as UFC Sweden[citation needed], was held on April 14, 2012 at the Ericsson Globe Arena in Stockholm, Sweden.[9] It was the first UFC event ever held in Sweden,[10] and after selling out all tickets in just three hours it became the fastest selling European event in UFC history.[11] There were 15,428 people in attendance earning over $2 million in ticket sales.[12]
The main event was originally set to be Brazilian Antônio Rogério Nogueira facing the Swedish Alexander Gustafsson. Nogueira pulled out of the fight due to an injury and was replaced by Thiago Silva.[13] This was Silva's first fight following a one-year suspension for falsifying a urine sample.[14] Early in the first round, Gustafsson hit Silva with an uppercut that knocked Silva down. Silva was able to defend from the follow-up attack from Gustafsson and made it out of the first round. The bout went the full distance of three five-minute rounds after which Gusafsson won by unanimous decision.[15]
The fight of the night award went to bantamweights Brad Pickett and Damacio Page. Pickett got the best of Page near the end of the second round, submitting Page with a rear-naked choke. John Maguire's armbar submission of DaMarques Johnson near the end of the second round of their fight earned Maguire the submission of the night award. The knockout of the night award went to Siyar Bahadurzada who knocked out Paulo Thiago in the first round.[16]
